still having issues with this, even after setting my player health to 20 in MineEdit (least i think i did. was out of game, selected 20, hit apply, clicked save, booted minecraft back up) and i'm having issues.
now instead of dying instantly, i'm suffocating. i'm pretty sure i'm spawning in a block instead. again, this isn't my real respawn place (after i load and suffocate, i respawn in my normal area without any issues).
this is ONLY after i load the world from the menu.
Can i run mineedit while the game is running, or do i need to change settings then use mineedit? also, for the changes to take affect do i first need to save the map file i'm editing?

with the game closed i load mineedit.
i go to the Player tab and select '20'. I then hit the save button
next i load minecraft and die

Starting the game fresh
Deleting the bin folder
Changing my respawn loc
Nothing works. I now load, die, and respawn normally without any issues.
This is complete crap. I lost a bunch of items because of this (die, go through items to restock inventory, die again, etc..)
I also recorded a video. I want my items back dude =(
