Hey, I'm running a server for a small group of friends on FTB that is using the "FTB Presents Direwolf20 1.12" modpack. Is there any way you can give me the server files for 1.12 to add this mod to the server. I can't find it anywhere else. Thank you
Reika's mods don't support 1.12, the most recent version they have versions for is 1.7.10, so the reason you've not find the files are that they don't exist.
To start with, version conflict. Reika's mods are now in 1.7.10, and if you're playing Monster that's on 1.6.4. Beyond that, without more information, such as a log, we can't help much.
I doubt an ability to store lower power for use as higher is going to happen, since it lets you skip the tech tree. Industrial coil sort of can, but that has an explosion risk and requires more and more torque to charge, specifically to prevent skips. Only thing that you have that might work is using magnetostatics, since you could output the lower tier to RF, increase it's value with quantity or storage, then return to shaft power with the magnetostatic, which requires you to hit that point in the tech tree anyways.
Hey Reika was there an change to making ethanol crystals? I place the sludge into the furnace and it will not cook at all. When I queued it with NEI it says I need to use a centrifuge instead (which I am scratching my head trying to figure out how I can get a centrifuge running without gearboxes). I am hoping this is just a bug.
There was a change to how ethanol was made. Running gearboxes is completely possible without ethanol however, steam engines are sufficient to get lubricant working.
Reika doesn't provide old versions, to prevent bug reports based on the use of old versions. Unfortunately, I don't have any v18 versions lying around either. I've got 15, 16, and 19, but not any others.
Or, as you may have noticed, it will crash once, and then as long as the pack doesn't change doesn't crash again, unless the bug has changed since I last dealt with it.
Hi Reika! I'm working on creating a new modpack based around eldritch beings that start to take notice of the player crossing dimensions, and begin to affect the world and player as their awareness grows, along with players empowering themselves to fight against said beings. I'm looking for your permission to add ChromatiCraft, and obviously DragonAPI, to the pack. I've played through CC multiple times and reached endgame on the current version so I'm well acquainted with how it functions.
I'd also like to mention that ChromatiCraft is one of my top three favorite mods, alongside Botania and Academy Craft, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for all your hard work. It is a visually stunning mod in so many ways and the amount of problem solving that can be done utilizing environmental mechanics is amazing. I will freely admit to having actual screaming rages at my computer over my inability to figure things out though. Keep up the good work!
