    People who know what FTB is won't need a link to their site, so that paragraph is useless.
    Why have a video section if there's nothing in it? Yes, it would be nice to have, but only if there's something in it.
    And use correct grammar and spelling.

    First, unless the rules have changed, you aren't supposed to use adfly if you're using textures from the original pack, especially from the terrain. Just from the pictures, I could tell that the flowers, iron bars, cake, pine leaves, wool, and the lilypad weren't changed (at all or very little) from the terrain alone. I would suggest not using adfly until at least those are done.

    Texture wise, everything looks like every other RPG pack I've seen for the past two years. That doesn't mean it's bad though. I find one thing very odd and out of place though, which is what I assume to be your brick texture in this picture. It looks very blurry, and would look a lot better if not blurry.

    P.S. Why have this picture if it doesn't show off anything new, but shows textures you've already shown and an untextured mob?

    So, a few texture artists, such as myself, have noticed with the new tripwire, the string will go missing sometimes, such as this:

    Why does this do this? After some testing, it's all about the texture!
    Here's a sample from my WIP texture pack, showing the tripwire and string texture:

    Looks normal right? Then why does it show up as blank sometimes?

    It's the top two rows of pixels! The top two rows of pixels show the string on the ground when it isn't on the direct line of a tripwire. The next two rows (the two most people have textured) are the string when on the ground and connected to the tripwire on the direct line from it. The "direct line" is just if it's straight in front of it. As you see with the first picture, the string directly in front of the two tripwires is completely visible, while the one that curves to the side is missing!
    So, all you have to do is texture the top two rows as well. You can get creative, or you can post the 3-4 rows again as rows 1-2 so it will look the same, which is shown in the example picture:


    With that fixed, you'll see the texture now shows up!


    Or you could just add another tripwire hook on both sides.

    Wow, even though this was known and expected, it was a surprise to see videos on 1.2.4 in my YouTube inbox (I upload crappy Minecraft videos. Check me out if you like. My Channel I finished the textures for the update, and boom-shakah-lakah, here's version 1.6.1 of DSCraft, updated for Minecraft 1.2.4. Enjoy!

    Can anyone tell me or link me about adfly not being allowed? It's been a subject in the Skype chat a few times, but I can't seem to find anything on it. I'm not seeing any announcement about it being not allowed at all, and the only thing I could find on it was a quote from the Forum rules and information which doesn't say anything about it being completely unallowed, but that you:
    Misuse Money Linking Sites - Don’t use sites such as adf.ly for anything other than downloads of your own content. You must also always abide by the services TOS.

    I'm not reading "Don't do it at all", I'm reading "Use it only for downloads of things that are (100%) your content." Anything I'm missing?

    Also, staying home from school for today! Woohoo! I'm feeling up for texturing at the moment, so I'll get to that in a second.

    As for the stealing part, it's obvious it was edited, but still clearly used Painterly as a base, and still resembled the original textures. All that is asked is permission/credit to Painterly. Just slapping "Some textures based off Painterly" in the bottom right corner in size 1 text would still be better than no shown permission/credit at all, although not recommended to be that small and in such an inconvenient location.

    I have no idea how you do it (besides being absolutely amazing), but every update you produce, and new textures you make, simply amaze me and hundreds of thousands of others. I can't even think of words to put into a reply. "Simply amazing" doesn't even begin to cut it. Continue the jaw-dropping work!

    posted a message on Posting a few times messes with the code?
    With my texture pack, I was updating to the 1.2.2 release, and was having trouble with the new forum code. First I didn't know how to get it to stop showing my code as what it will show up on the page posted. After finding out to press the button on the top left, and a few times editing, getting the links and everything just right, the entire post turned into HTML, and would not display on a page. Unable to fix it, I had to go into a backup file I luckily kept on my computer, containing the text for the thread.

    Can this be fixed? I don't want to have all of my hard work on my threads/posts ruined because the forum changed my entire post's format. Or could HTML also be accepted in posts?
