    Yes! Its fantastic to know you're still staying on this mod. I've been playing btw but with the 1.4.2 update I decided to return to forge and this is one of my must haves.

    As for the spider and vermin plans I have a couple of suggestions (with regards to the pet aspect) if you want to hear them.

    Edit: what method did you use to make stone mineable (sorry if that's wrong horrible at spelling) by hand, and is that still a feature? Also I'm glad to see that mini-me is still in.

    Sorry if I'm over posting but is there a wool equivalent? I went down and forgot to get stuff for a bed. That new pic you put up on the new gen system is really something. That big valley and, for lack of a better word, inverted mountain leading down into it would really be an awesome base entrance.

    Does a poll or something on the mini-me project sound good?

    Anyway fantastic job man. I'm loving it all.

    To the vanilla cobble I don't care for the idea of extra inventory waste. Maybe a new crafting recipe?

    Maybe patches of it like gravel under layer 80?

    Please don't drop mini-me all together at least. Its one of my favorite parts of the mod.

    I like the new gen. And the grinder idea sounds good.

    One other thing, does advancedgl or whatever it is work with this mod? My chests are coming up white with text

    Fantastic mod man. You're going down in my list of must haves. I've been having a few problems though.

    1. The collision detect is odd. when i go up a half step with a wood slab against the roof it damages me. Same for jumping in 2 block tall spaces.
    2. Any chance of us getting invertable slabs? (idk if steps are invertable or not as dolomite makes standard steps)
    3. Is it possible to get standard stone? (haven't found lava to make cobble gen)

    and a couple of questions

    1. Is sand obtainable in the "cavern"? I'd like to know so don't have to hump it all the way back to the surface if not.
    2. Is there a sugar cane equivalent down there?
    3. Is tiaga or whatever, the only biome aside from ocean?

    Thanks for an amazing mod. Please keep at it, I already couldnt stand to loose this mod.

    Due to the warm, if somewhat small, reception I have decided to continue work on the story. Thanks for reading everyone but I havent been working on it. I'll resume the logs shortly but time is tight.

    Its as story just for fun and far from complete. It is an actuall play through just highly embellished (started getting bored in ssp and started a new world just for this). if you want more let me know, else its just getting dropped.

    Without further hooplah Day 1 and the opening of Day 2.


    Nexus

    I keep this log lest I be forgotten when I die.

    Prologue

    Today I was exiled from my home and stripped of my… self. My sibling’s children (his favorite snack I suppose) freed themselves and killed all but myself. Being the more reasonable of my "family" I offered to bind my powers to a new dimension, one that I shall be permanently locked into. It appears that this place has retained much of me, I can feel the value (however slight) of the very dirt under my feet. They allowed me to keep just enough of my power to survive here. By my estimates I am on par with the humans of my old realm but I do have the ability to carry much more than a standard Steve should.

    Day 1

    I awoke at dawn ready to rule my new world but instead I found myself in an empty plain. Cruel irony dictates that I should own nothing of myself. That which I gave everything else to keep appears unaware of my very existence.

    Knowing I needed shelter and tools I set out looking for materials to build my kingdom from and found a small forest to harvest wood from. Gathering a single trees worth and 2 saplings to start a sort of supply line I returned to the relative safety of open plains. Finding a flock of sheep I killed enough to fashion a bed for myself. Using dirt and wood I created a small hovel for security. Before I head back I note a volcano. “I could use that lava at some point,” I think to myself.

    What have I been reduced to? I was unable to kill a pig in time to eat this night so I lay in my dirt shack hungry and scared. My nightmares appear to be faring better than I in this land. When night fell they began to appear from seemingly nowhere. Skeletons, spiders, and creepers all wandering free. All with more strength and greater numbers than I could have dreamed up in my wildest nightmares, and now that I face them in reality I have none of my powers to protect myself. Blast the “gods”, I will survive and I will thrive. BY MY SOUL ZEUS WILL PAY!!!!

    Day 2

    The drizzle outside is somehow comforting. I prepare to wander out but am attacked by a skeleton. I’m gravely injured and still starving. Damn this infernal place… Damn me. There is little I can do but wait for the rain to subside.

    That's not really all :tongue.gif: this is an idea of truly epic potential.
    Will the space map be procedurally generated?
    Also is the ship/port system planned to work with ssp?
    What kind of hanger doors are planned? Im personally in favor of the scifi sheild doors(stop weapons and atmosphere but pass ships and people freely)
    Will there be special blocks for building with?(blast plating and the like)
    And is there going to be the obligatory star(wars/gate/trek/craft/whatever) reference?

    And finally I was trying not to do this but:
    "Sir scanners show signs of life and a breathable atmosphere"
    "Humanoid?"
    "...It appears so captain..."

    Two replies on the same question gawsh I feel speshul. But seriously the faq? Doesn't seem like the place to put that what with it usually being nothing but trouble shooting and do not pm me style tidbits. Not to mention the fact that the op is longer than most threads with a serious overdose of vid clips and pics (kills my internets). Thanks for the info at any rate.

    @A3theros: Yeah venison is what you're thinking of. I personally don't have a problem with them dropping beef, after all there's really not a great deal of difference between the two. Yes the taste is pretty unique but that's about it.

    This is an awesome mod man. A huge ogre or perhaps a mage of some sort might be a good next boss.

    Also: you should add sparkly humanoid mobs just to stick it to the idiot children with no grasp of the human language beyond swear words and what they've seen in movies.

    Yes! *reads 'notch is no longer head dev' then starts chanting* "No more troll mobs! Lots more cool mods!". I'm glad he put modding as his priority over adding more poorly fitting random content. Finish whats there now then let us choose what we want to add(I hope). Jeb you rock! Im going to make a temple in your honor with nothing but mod blocks and (maybe) glowstone.
