if cauldron were used instead, there would only be use for blaze powder in strength pots.
also why would mojang remove something that was added in 1.0.0?

use mana.
basically a blue xp bar with a maximum on top of the normal xp bar.
every time you cast a spell, it goes down. also you would have a blue hunger bar, which is how much mana is in your bank.
you can put mana in your bank, get a 3% interest every 2 minecraft days, but cannot get it back within a day of you either filling your bank (max 100 where 1/2 a bar is 5 mana) or you casting a combat spell.
also mana will auto regen.
the set max is 20,
the max max is 500.
i think you could use xp to buy upgrades such as faster cooldown, max mana, and mana regen.

mostly high support, a little unbalanced because if someone eats like all the food in the game plus more, and every single food in the game only gives half a hunger/food bar, then they are in trouble unless they have LOTS of food.

dragons are cool, but
this is true,
UNLESS
the dimension is an optical illusion with no mobs.
this idea is pretty cool, but what i think is a little unstable is the idea of an alternate way of getting to the end.
dont get me wrong, i like dragons but

i often come up with ideas that could totally be in the game and other people disagree with me but
you are totally right
then again, it would be a lot better if the chances were a lot lower
and i came up with this new idea that's still kinda stupid
raining cats and dogs:
literally raining cats and dogs, 56/1000 chance of it happening whenever it starts raining.

Just an idea:
Add "hail"
Hail will give you slowness and have a 18/100 chance of happening every minute in y >=90/ and in the ice plains, extreme hills, mountain, ice spikes,
you get the point.
Add "burning sun"
Burning sun will randomly set you on fire and have a 31/100 chance of happening every 2 minutes in the mesa, desert, and all types of badlands.
Add "pickle rain"
Pickle rain will give you nausea, resistance, strength, blindness, health boost, levitation, bad luck, and luck. It will also make it rain sea pickles,
and have a 62/100 chance of happening every 2 minutes in all biomes marked as epic or legendary in this vid:
Add "mojang's godly might"
Mojang's godly might will surround the player in banners with the mojang symbol on it as well as do whatever mojang wants it to do and have a 35/100 percent chance of happening every minute in whatever biome(s) mojang wants it to occur in.
You can tell it's "burning sun" out when the sky is red, like the nether except less "foggy".
You can tell it's "mojang's godly might" out when the sky is rainbow.
You can tell it's "hail" out when the default snow is coming down, but the sky is as foggy as the nether.
