Today I made a pretty average but good exp farm. It is in a server, and I wanted to make it a nice place to be, so people dont just AFK there. I want to have farms that provide good things, but don't make the player move out of range of the spawner.
So, what would you/do you have next to your mob farm to do instead of standing still?

I really like to play FTB because I started to reach the limits of how good I can be at vanilla. I like making a cool base and make factories to get supplies. Why do you want to join?: I want to be a part of a tight-knit community of Minecrafters! I also LOVE the FTB modpack, and especially the Mindcrack version. I want to make community farms, factories, and help with other things!
Prior Experience with with MC, Tekkit, FTB:
Minecraft: 1.5-2 years. Time flies!
Tekkit: None :/
FTB: About 3 months now, and I am becoming really handy with it!
What do you plan to do on the server?: As I said, factories, buildings, and other community projects, although I prefer to live by myself.

All you have to do, is to find your folder where you first specified FTB to be installed into. Then, you have to install the MindCrack pack. Then, whereever you had first installed FTB to, there should be a folder there called MindCrack. Open it, and then find the .minecraft. Inside there, go inside a folder called "mods" and just drag and drop your downloaded extra mods into there! Hope I helped, and that this was not too confusing. :/

I like to make bases in a SMALL plains biome because it is the most flat. The reason that I say to choose a small biome is because although plains are ideal for building, they don't have the great views nor the resources.
