I keep trying to convert my worlds as each patch arrives, but still haven't gotten any further then around 20% each time. Its was frustrating considering that the beta version did at least convert some worlds, albeit not perfectly, and now it won't convert any of them, at least I have found a few games to tie me over till it works, if it ever does, if not well I'm done with Minecraft.

You seem to be one of the lucky ones. But this forum and the bug reports show that many of us aren't having the same success. It seems for most this version is just unplayable on the xbox one for the moment. Hopefully soon we will get a stable fix.

Pretty sure they didn't fix this in the latest bug fix update. Major bug, but looks like we need to wait longer.

How are coordinates cheating? Makes no sense whatsoever. If you explored an area, it only makes sense that you mapped and made coordinates. I rarely use the coordinates on xbox, but they were helpful when trying to line up tunnels from opposite ends. Maps and compasses are fine, but trying to survey a build area needs coordinates.

Well that sucks. I never used auto save either because something inevitably glitches out or freezes and you end up stuck. Better to be able to go back to a stable point. Plus sometimes I just prefer not to have to rebuild after a creeper does serious damage...

It sounds like there is a reset the end option that will be available. So we should get the end cities. Glad they are thinking of those who already have a world they are playing in.
Maybe some day they will come up with a way to reset part of the over world so we can get some of the new terrain. Or a world expansion.

They are still putting out updates for the consoles so they must be interested in keeping them going. But why they can't fix the major issues such as the cloud issue that some are having, is beyond me.
And why they can't move on from the X 360 is also beyond me. It's more than past time to move on for X1 versions. Even simple things such as mob caps can't be that difficult to have different between versions.

I am ok with cut off terrain if it means not losing a whole map when a new update is out.
Any way to somehow smooth the terrain? Either way I would love to be able to reset a portion. Either that or major updates are accompanied by a world size increase.

They are very rare though to get anything above 12. It took me a long time to find the 13 horse. I had originally just given up but one day I got the faster horse. My kids now have been trying forever to beat mine.

I like the concept. I'd definitely be willing to sacrifice a portion of the map to regenerate it and be able to take advantage of any updates that impact world generation. I know some may think resources are unlimited, but it isn't that big of a deal since you still have to find and mine them.
Personally I figure the best way is to select a map and be able to regenerate that map. Right now we have 25 maps. Select one and regenerate. That way people can select a non critical portion.

This happened to me once. I don't know the reason. Only if you are offered a choice between the cloud version and the local copy, never pick the cloud copy even when it says it is newer. This problem has never been fixed. And for some reason they won't let us back up our games.
Try making a copy of your world periodically and always rename immediately. don't keep two world's with the same name.
Others might have more info, this is just what I have found so far.
