    Here's a response:
    We're tryin' to stay away from generic 'element' ideas. We kinda want to add stuff that is completely new, idea-wise. Or, somewhat new. You know what? We'll settle for halfway new.

    As for the tameable and breedable, we're not 100% sure what's goin' on. Should every snail be tameable? Only a certain rare snail? Some strange snail-bear hybrid?

    Please, keep the ideas coming!

    When I see Dancel online, I'll ask him. He's dropped off of the radar again. The idea was that the placeable Snail Shells would essentially be the same as the shell on the snail. So yes, the "Boeing 747" would have his wings, the Cave (that one is coming soon, I believe) would have his spikes, and etc.

    Snail zoo? Dude, I want to see that. How the heck are you collecting the snails?

    Thank you! I worked (somewhat) hard to get them to have a degree of awesome.

    And the Snail Fly/Fly Snail works just fine. Good luck hitting him with an arrow!

    In the next version, we'll toss in a couple of new snails. You already know one of them (The Fly Snail), and I'm not going to tell you what the second one is. When we release it, if the first one to find it would please PM me, saying that you've found it, and include a screenshot, I'll personalize your banner or something.

    Allrighty, fair enough. Can't wait to see the rest of the creeper, by the way. Both me and siblings were absolutely terrified by the head alone.

    Redstone truly looks great. I do notice, however, that the corners on the non-connected pipes are a bit sharp. It is my personal opinion that it would looks a tiny bit better if the sides were smoother, more rounded. Is there a way to change it without messing up the rest of the redstone texture?

    Edit: The creeper scares the crap out of me. Good show.

    Aha. Well, that wouldn't be an animation problem. That would be an AI problem , I think. Once Dancel comes back online from wherever he is, we'll work on it.

    Snail colonies- I've seen it suggested a few times and I thought i'd add my support! I like the idea of stumbling upon tiny colonies of snails

    Cave snails- Only found in caves. These snails have spikes on their backs to protect them from the dangers of the caves. Touching him will cause you to lose 1 heart.

    Corrupt snails- These guys are most commonly found wandering the nether in groups of 3-4. They are very rarely found causing trouble in the regular world. They absolutely despise all other snails besides the giganto snail (see next idea). They attack all other snails but will loyally follow the nearest giganto snail. If you attack a nearby giganto snail they will charge surrounding you in a poisonous goo that will both slow you down and cause 2 heats of damage every 5 seconds.

    Giganto snail- Feel free to name it something else! Anyways i've also seen a few suggestions for a large snail and i'd like to support that idea too. Its loyal servants are the corrupt snails. It feeds on mushrooms, grass, and flowers. It normally doesn't bother with humans because the corrupted snails normally take care anything that bothers it but if attacked it will fight to the death.

    I hope you like my ideas or at the very least I hope one inspires you. Anyways great mod dudes!


    1) Snail colonies- We will do our best. I'm trying to reach Dancel, but he seems to have pretty much dropped off of the radar for the time being. And, uh, what exactly would you want there to be in the snail colonies? I accept the idea, but I'm a little fuzzy on what you guys want it to be. Little earthen entrenchments? Funny leaf buildings?

    2) Cave Snails- We actually have a model going for this guy already. We want him to enter his shell when he 'sees' any other entity, I think. So, the one way you would be able to kill him would be with a bow and arrow. Or something along those lines.

    3) This sounds interesting. Will write into the Ideas document I have going. Along with the giganto snails, I guess.

    Uhm, sure. Any time I have, I'll spend it trying to help you. But, be warned. I'm attempting to learn how to use Java, so I might not have all that much time available.

    Now, some criticism, or unbridled flattery.
    Your Ideas:
    Wood colors- I really can't see much fault with this. The paint probably shouldn't be very far off of the base color of wood, however.
    Marble - as a replacement for cobble- I actually kind of enjoy the cobble texture that you have going now, but maybe a screenshot of the 'Cracked Marble' could change that.
    as a replacement for wool- I find this slightly more acceptable in my brain, but that doesn't say all that much. For example, how would sheep look as marble behemoths? And would you be sleeping on a slab of marble?
    Stone Bricks and Nether Brick- (Nether Brick) As rusted metal, how would that fit in with the rest of the Nether? Would the Nether be some sort of industrial wasteland? It seems likely, what with lava planned to be molten metal and all.
    Windows- I look forward to seeing what you come up with for these.
    Brewing stand- What will the potions be? Funny colored coffee? Not mocking, genuinely curious.
    Paintings- The coffee paintings, I think, would do nicely.
    Mobs- As stated before, fairly standard. Marble behemoths as sheep would be interesting too.
    Trees- *cough* definitely *cough*. Twisted-looking. Hm. I would say swamp trees, if they had their own texture. But, since they dont, I'll say birch trees. I really, really, really loathe the standard birch texture.
    Tools- Gotta have something steam-powered. And, yes, yes, and yes.
    Redstone- Or something like the bottom of a cupcake tin, extended.
    GEARS!- Sounds good, and maybe a few on the arm of the piston as well? Or just on the piston in general.
    Water and Lava- No, you don't. I wont blame you. Pinkie promise.
    Food- Hm. The furnace would have to be something like a stove to justify that.
    Spider Eyes- If you can, do it! That would be great.
    Bricks- Watching to see how these turn out.
    Ores- All of these look great.
    Pigs- Yes, SamIAm. I sure do love green eggs and ham!

    The Name: "Broken Anachronism"

    Dang. I had to look that up. It's both memorable, attention-grabbing, and it pretty much describes the pack. For what it's worth, the Dodo approves! :D
