Didn't like all the Minecraft vs Terraria flame wars that the fanboys of either game got into, though, and after a while, the game just seemed ridiculous with the amount of things you could do. At first ridiculous in a good way, but by the time they had a WALL for a boss battle, kind of in a bad way.

    I dunno. Terraria was fun. I'm glad for all the Console players, hopefully it'll be as big as a hit as MC on the Xbox.
    It will never be as big a hit as Minecraft. Minecraft is one of the most popular games ever.

    Terraria is finnaly coming to Xbox and Play Station! It was announced a few weeks ago, but this trailer got me excited. I never played it on my PC because my computer is getting pretty old. But I'll be getting it on Xbox. Sadly, does not come out till next year though...

    Well then if you want to play pure surival and manage to craft it, you would be able to switch in and out of creative menu. However, it SHOULD be in the creative mode menu.

    I have a radical suggestion that will not get good feedback. They should remove the beacon that comes out of the blocks. Or atleast give you the option to turn it off. Why? So it can be hid more easily for adventure maps.

    On topic it would be nice to instead have a LIST of effects for the beacon, and then an amount of power based upon the size / quality of the pyramid (quality meaning what material. iron<gold<emerald<diamond)

    So lets say a 1 layer iron gives you 5 points, gold gives you 7, emerald 9, and diamond 11 maybe? Exact numbers could be entirely different, but then you could spend these "points" on whatever effects you could afford to power, and choose to what level. (Wouldn't it be nice to have a tier 2 speed on a pyramid?)

    Just an idea.
    The pyramid is to expensive at is. But if they leave it in, using different blocks should just give you different ranges.

    I just want these 4 unused potion effects to be added to the game.
    • Mining Fatigue
    • Nausea
    • Water Breathing
    • Blindness
    I was thining about it recently, and you guys are probably right. They should only have the water breathing effect in the beacon block. The 3 negative effects are pointless. But those other 3 negative effects need to be added in some way.
