    Adventure Mode has the possibility to turn Minecraft into a puzzle solving platformer game. Just needs a bit more work.

    You know I guess you're right. Fire aspect should be removed from the game because you can cook meat with a furnace. I guess we should also remove effiency and unbreaking picks from the game because we don't want people to save time. Oh yeah, remove fortune also. It saves a lot of time while mining.
    I don't think you understand the point of this. Of course it's only purpose is to save time. You can get mass amounts of glass with it without having to wait by a furnace for 5 minutes.

    Yes, they will continue to work on it. But like most things, it will likely remain uneven in its implementation.
    Minecraft has great updates, but they do tend to take awhile. I feel 1.3 is staring to enter the ridiculas terroritory for how long it's taking.

    So here is my idea for a new type of enchantment. Furnace Enchantment. (Maybe you could think of a more creative title.?) So so it is not TOO overrpowered, it would be the highest level enchantment in the game. You could enchant all tools with it, and here is what each would do.
    • A Furnace Enchantment Sword would make Cows, Chicken and Pigs drop already cooked meat.
    • A Furnace Enchantment Pickaxe would make Iron Ore and Gold Ore drop their ingots right when mined. But, just a gimic, using it on Redstone Ore or Lapus Ore would only give you one piece of lapis or redstone when mined. Check the wiki if you're wondering why. It would also have the same effect as silk touch on stone, in the fact that it would drop stone instead of cobblestone.
    • A Furnace Enchantment Shovel will drops pieces of glass when used on sand, instead of dropping sand. And using it on clay will drop bricks instead of clayballs.
    • And finnaly, a Furnace Enchantment Axe would only have one use. When you chop pices of wood, it will drop pieces of charcoal instead of wood.
    • (Destroying a Cactus would drop Cactus Green Dye with any of these tools.)
    So tell me what your opinions are on this enchantment? I know the biggest problem you'll all have with it. You all think it's overrpowered. I'll tell you why it's not. It does not make the game any easier at all. It just saves you time since you don't have to smelt with it.

    Also, you are right. Just something like some options in the world select menu for selecting things like breakable blocks. Creepers shouldn't have an option to be removed, rather an option to disable their block destroying.
    Perhaps also an option to disable natural mob spawning as well, ie., they only spawn from eggs or spawners, not from darkness.
    Those are great suggestions also.

    Agree with you on that.The odds are 12w27a will be the last snapshot.
    Will be nearly 100% bug fixes. However, I don't think they will add mob spawners to creative mode anytime soon. Would have a lot of bugs if they did not, and they want to get 1.3 released already.
    There will be one small new feature, yes.

    I'm kind of bummed out. In 8 days, I will have no internet access for 3 weeks. So i'm going to miss the 1.3 release :(

    This is a more community wide want. Alot of players play/make adventure maps.

    Also, the end was fixed.
    It was fixed, yes. But The End could still be so much more.

    They have to. Adventure Mode is one of the best aspects of the game.
