    As for the models and textures,

    The zombie and zombie pigman models (which are the same model) were modified to add a villager head and nose for the villager zombies. The textures were enlarged to accommodate this extra model space, but left blank on the regular skins.

    I suspect we'll see texture artists doing some cool stuff with this. ;)

    I mean the wiki says they grow in Jungles. Is the wiki wrong?

    A few a questions about the newest snapshot, 12w38a that I would like answering to. I can't find the answers anywhere else.
    • How do I make a pig go faster again? I don't notice any difference while right clicking like the wiki says.
    • I know the Wither effect turns your health bar black and you lose health, but does it do anything else? Nevermind. Actually, I would like a good source saying exactly what Wither does.
    • Do mobs actually drop heads yet? Because I tried a lot, and did not see them drop any heads. They do very rarely
    • How do you get a Human head in survival? Can't yet
    • Do Wither Skeletons spawn naturally in the Nether yet? Yes they do, just saw one.
    • Where do you go in Jungles to find Carrots or Potatoes? Because I flew around a newly generated jungle for 5 minutes and did not see any. Wrong.

    True enough, but that doesn't mean it magically kills the sun when it spawns, you know. It's a neat (and easy) idea, but it doesn't seem to fit very well. And, it'd be a little annoying playing on a server, when boom, suddenly some jerk summons the Wither, and then you have to deal with night time until somebody kills the thing.
    That is what server rules are for.

The caves are somewhat forgivable, since the strongholds are pretty old and without them we would have no entrance, but it starts to get annoying when 50% of the stronghold doesn't have walls. It's a lot less forgivable with mineshafts, since they are man-made, when you see a mineshaft cutting through a library, you just think: "What idiot built this?" They could fix the generation by making it so the only entrance would generate at the surface, and the ender eyes would lead you there. Mineshafts, if they intersected a stronghold, should only overwrite one wall. It would actually be cool to find an entrance to an abandoned mineshaft that looked like an entrance and not the work of a miner who wasn't paying attention. As for the defenses, silverfish make a somewhat good defence: they're pathetic by themselves, but they work in swarms, so they're actually pretty powerful. But what would really be cool would be to find traps in strongholds, not the pathetic ones in temples, but tripwire traps that would do something like make pistons remove the floor and dump you into lava. As for the loot, I don't mind some free iron and gold, but enchanted tools and written books( they would usually generate as just a fiction story, but would have a very small chance to be an apocalyptic diary, like 11) would be awesome. An enchantment table in large libraries would be cool too. I definitely think the 3 per world limit should be removed, and they would just be rare generated structures.

    Did not think of having enchanted tables in library's also. Good idea.
