Me and another person started a Hunger Games map two days ago. Its going well, but progress is extremely slow with just the two of us. We need more people, we will take as much as we can get.
Like I mentioned in the title; you dont have to be a expert builder, or even a good builder. If you can place a block down you qualify.

Okay i dont care if you are to good for cartoons. Or if you like regular show more than adventure time or vice versa. I want to know what universe would win in a war.
ROUND 1:
Round one takes place in a open field. Maybe some mountains and such. Just Mordocai and Rigby vs Finn and Jake. Keep note that they can use all equipment/weapons/abilities from any episode from the show.
ROUND 2:
Round two takes place in the same field. Same rules as above except this time all of Finn and Jakes and Mordocai and Rigby's allies join in with there weapons/equipment/abilities.
ROUND 3:
This time, only the villians of each show fight each other. They can use all there weapons/abilities/equipment.
ROUND 4:
Round 4 is every main/secondary character. From every episode. With all there weapons/equipment/abilities. This is gonna be wild....
This is a good idea! Support! Maybe if you could craft a tabard with certain items to get a picture of that mob's head onto your tabard. I.E a blaze rod would put a blaze head on your tabard, Ender pearl enderman head, ect....
YES!! As a girl... I love the idea of MORE clothes... LOL. Support. And do I HAVE to say support? Because I don't think I did on one post, and I'm hoping it doesn't affect anyone seeing it's potential amount of supporters. Thanks!!
To make this more unique, you should be able to craft a piece of dyed leather armor with a piece of leather to make a tabard, then add any item to change the picture. The color of the armor would decide the color of the tabard, and the item you combine it with will decide the picture. Adding a piece of wool will add a trim of that color wool.
Also, they should work as armor, and be repairable with leather in an anvil. I personally don't like the idea of a special equipment slot, because this would be rarely used in SSP, and therefore the slot wouldn't get a lot of use.
Pictures:
Adding any item in a crafting table will put that item's picture on the tabard, which does not consume the item. The tabard will have an NBT tag that says what item was used to craft it, which means it can be specified by command blocks with the /give command.
I dont know man your first idea seems a little... to much...
It would show the sleeves in any case because a tabard it a long sleeveless shirt.
Anyway I'm all for Aesthethics slots.
I think a tabard item should not have the dye in it's recipe. Instead, you simply make a brown tabard and then apply dye to it EXACTLY like you apply dye to leather armor. So you would have millions of colors not just 16.
The leather cost should represent the item,s size. Boots are 4 leather and a chestplate 8 leather, so a tabard should cost more than 2 leather.
Given that a tabard it is a kind of long sleeveless shirt, then 6 leather (2 wide, 3 tall) would work great I think.
Now, for the actual "pattern" you want to put on it, you'd just craft the tabard with the allowed items.
So like this:
for a plain tabard....
And then:
For different colored tabards? (The armor equals a tabard of course...)
What if you want to wear God Armour or whatever they call it now and you want to keep easy track of whose on your team? Yeah, your going to naturally know but if people wear their flag around everywhere in what they call "patriotism", shouldn't you be able to represent your team?
Besides, nobody wears leather armour. Not on a PvP server, anyway.
Have you seen the movie "How to train your dragon?" Picture cooler dragons. If the directer of "300" stepped up to do something like this it could be a more gritty "Lord of the Rings" in my opinion.
BIOSHOCK:
Has lots of twist and turns and would be sure to keep you on your feet!
Red Dead Redemption:
Have you even seen a old western movie? Red dead would be like that. The story itself is one the best i have even played. Ever. The moral at the end and the end of the movie in general would come together and make a excellent movie. If you played Red Dead Redemption then you know that the end of the story is amazing (but sad.)
Last Of Us:
This is actually becoming a movie. (So is assassins creed.) It has a great story and would keep people on there toes.
The Walking Dead:
The video game not the show... it would be emotional. Season one at least (have not yet played season 2.) It would show the brutality of a zombie epidemic and the hard choices one must make to protect the ones he loves. It would probably be pretty scary.
Team Fortress 2:
This one is not obvious, but i think that valve's 9 classes would make excellent characters for a tf2 show, let alone a movie! If you dont believe me watch this:
I dont even have to explain this! The mixture of loony action and comedy would be awesome.
Infamous:
Think about it: "A man gains powers in a horrible epidemic and must choose between saving only himself, or helping others too." I would personally love it!
I was going to say the same thing. So yeah, what he said.
I think your missing the point.... you dont play servers that often do you? If you did, you would probably catch what im saying real fast.
Tabards would be a way to represent yourself without having to sacrifice armor rating. So you dont have to be forced to wear a certain color leather armor to show that your apart of "team X" or whatever. If you wanted to you could wear a tabard over diamond armor so your armor is still 100% effective.
Also, you can put designs on your tabards to specifically represent your team, faction, clan, or just plain you!
I didn't say all of it But yeah, maybe both armour around the neck and around the sides, since a tabard is not very wide. Another thing, maybe the tabard could show up on the back as well, connected by the neckpiece but not by the sides. Kinda hard to explain but know what I mean?
I think tabards have a little piece on the sides that connects the front to the back. So by default it would be like that unless maybe there could be a way to design the tabard look itself.
