posted a message on Ex Nihilo (the Skyblock companion mod)
I've created the second version of BITS (Blocks in the Sky), this time, better. It has ALL of the compatible mods that Ex Nihilo AND Ex Aliquo has made. I'm, of course, still working on the modpack. The modpack contains 72 mods, and doesn't come with maps. The modpack usually updates; hosted from dropbox so most versions can be selected. Changelogs and permissions are written containing name of the mod, version of it, and the link to it (including this mod).
I've just completely abandoned the last version of BITS, because it was the first modpack I've created with technic. I was proud of it, though.

    Link to the modpack:

(I've created the modpack on another account, I just don't know why)

posted a message on [Guide Included] Portforwarding Megathread: Post your Port Forwarding questions here!
So I had the same issue on this certain PC, and I think it's an issue with the PC itself but I'm not so sure. I have a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 modem. I've entered everything in correctly for the IPv4 address and ports in the forwarding. It's just not forwarding. I've used canyouseeme.org and yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check and it all said it wasn't able to connect. I'm running my MC server while doing so too.

posted a message on [1.7.2][Forge] In-Game MCEdit Filters & Scripts - A new Map Making tool! Updated!
Once forge updates 1.7.4. You should add Triangulation by WumpaCraft to this mod. It's a very useful filter for detecting players inside not a sphere, but a 3d box using triangular testfors.

Age: 13, regardless of my young age. I am mature.
Why I want to join: Mainly, I've been on servers that I had fun on, but then they all reset and I went to find new servers; leading me to this. Another reason is finding a fully mature server with no annoying hackers and griefers in them.

You can keep them there, just add a link to the page where I posted the map

Okay... just checked out your mod pack and realized that my maps were packaged with it.....?

While I don't particularly mind you including my maps in your mod pack, I would have preferred you ask my permission before doing so. At the very least you should provide some kind of link to my post with the map. As it is, the maps are just automatically downloaded to the save folder through the technic launcher.. :/

Well, I'm sorry for not asking permission. As though I don't know why I've packaged your maps with my mod pack. Should I remove it then? This mod pack is just a little thing I can play with so I don't have to manually add in all the mods and such. But I've released it to the public to show what mods there are in the pack.

I feel like lots of mods are missing for my "BITS" mod pack. It's supposed to be very balanced on top of Ex Nihilo. Perhaps would someone suggest some mods for the mod pack?

Alright, so I'm in the process creating a mod pack that has this mod as the soul for it called "BITS" (Blocks in the Sky). It is a mod pack that uses the Technic Launcher, but I will make a compressed zip file of it and upload it as well. I may not have to ask, but can I use this mod in this pack?

Hi! I have some suggestions for future mod ideas. Hope you like them!

Idea 1: Renewable Sand and Other Stuff
To get renewable sand, one would have to create an irrigation tank. Recipe: P P P
    S S S
    Legend: P-pebble. D D D
    S-silk mesh
    D-dirt
It would be like a sieve for liquids. Here's a chart of what you could get.
    Chart
    Water: Sand-90%
    Pebble- 80%
    Dirt-90%
    Ender Pearl-10%
    Flowers,Mushrooms and grasses-60%
    Various seeds and saplings-40%
    Gold Nuggets-20%
    Ghast Tears-5%
    Leaves-60%
    Lava: Cobblestone-90%
    Stone-90%
    Obsidian-20%
    Various ore produces(ingots,gems,etc' etc')-20%
    Bone-70%
    Coal and Charcoal-40%
    Blaze Rods-10%
    Milk: Water-90%
Assorted seeds, saplings, mushrooms, flowers, leaves and grass-80%
    Apples, Wheat and Sugarcane-60%
    Slimeballs-30%
    Witch Water: Spider Eyes-30%
    Ancient Spores and Grass Seeds-80%
    Mushrooms-80%
    Rotten Flesh-50%

Idea 2: Use for useless stuff
Useless stuff list (In my opinion)
    Gunpowder
    Slimeballs
    Dead Bushes
    Spider Eyes
    Rotten Flesh
Gunpowder- Creepers are numerous. Often, one finds themselves with chests of gunpowder that you are likely to never use. So here's my idea: Adding gunpowder to a lava barrel creates fire which you can craft into chain armour.
Slimeballs- Besides leashes, redstone components and potion ingredients, slimeballs are useless. So here's my idea, if smelt slimeballs, the water evaporates and leaves behind a very sticky goo puddle. If you left click mobs, thy are stuck to the ground. This would help mob farming before you have fences. Also, you would be able to eat them.
Dead bushes- They can be used as fuel or burnt into charcoal.
Spider Eyes- These are merely used for potion making or the worst food ever. So, they can be enchanted with Seeing. This allows you to see chests and such. In know that this one sounds quite 'cheatish' though.
Rotten Flesh- They can be smelted into leather or you could mix it with spider eyes, dead bushes and any uncooked meat to become compost which is like an instant grow fertiliser.

I'm aware that spider eyes and rotten flesh can be composted, but I think that they just need more uses.
As I said before, this is an amazing and revolutionary mod and I hope you keep up with it! I'll be eagerly watching for the next update for 1.7.2. Good Luck!

I like the idea of mixing gunpowder into lava for chainmail armor.

    New update!

    v1.15
-added seeds for oak trees, spruce trees, birch trees, jungle trees, carrots, potatoes, cactus and sugar cane.
-all of the new seeds can be found using the sieve.
-silkworms can now be cooked and eaten.
-silkworms can be composted, both raw and cooked.
-it is now possible to compost tall grass that has been harvested with shears.
-fixed a bug that cause items to pop out of barrels and sieves and fly in the '-x' direction.

I'm almost done with the original ideas for the mod. Cross compatibility updates will be soon. I'm not sure if I want to work on the molten metal stuff before that or not. As much as I'm in love with the idea, it's not really necessary and people are dying for more ore types. Let me know what you guys think. Also, how are the lower capacity barrels treating everyone?

Very nice update, you don't have to farm zombies for them carrots and potatoes anymore!
I have a suggestion for the 1.7 update. I think you should do something with the new flowers, I'm not sure what but maybe a new sieving item? Just a suggestion.
