Anyone noticed that the creepers AI its better now? He now see you of a great distance, and doesnt get stuck anynore.
Oh, and anyone got a dungeon above the water level with more than one type of mob? cause I got one, near my spawn, inside of a mountain, in a simetric room.
I am very disappointed with Notch... If he is going to turn the game into beta, why he didn't make some tests before?
Before I had Minecraft, an incredible game... now I have Minecraft beta, an unplayable game... before I had 120 fps with the graphics in fancy and view distance far, now I have like 12~15 in fast with view distance in normal.
And he said he only fix this tomorrow... so why he didnt released the beta when was day in his country???

Hello, I was playing with my friend here in local, he was hosting the server, and we was playing for the last 3 hours.
Then, someone hit the power cable here accidentaly, and his computer restarted. So when he opened the server, the world that the server loaded was very different than the one we were playing.
I though it was a chunk error, so I said for him exit minecraft, close the server, and then open again. So he did.
And the world was different again.
Sometimes the world doesnt load everything, it appear that the world was "sliced" apart.
Theres a way to solve this? or we dont have a way to progress on multiplayer?
I saw something about the hey0 plugin for servers, and I was wondering if theres something near for the single player mode, like a stats tracker, and a customizable achievements. Like, for 1000 blocks of stone mined you gain a silver.
Something like that.
Hi, I have only the biome tree: true. And appears that the gameplay have changed in the maps.
Before I was finding caves when I started to dig down, and now there are not much caves in game, I had to create caves. I am almost at the core, and didn't found a cave yet.
What is the "standard" settings of minecraft in biomes?
Thanks

After reading about the changes in txt files I figured out, I only changed the Biome Settings in .minecraft folder, but the map was already created, then I tryied to change the Biome Settings in the World txt file, didnt worked too.
So I changed only the Biome settings in .minecraft folder, deleted the worlds and then started a new game, and...
IT WORKED!!!
I was given an awesome map with mountains, rivers of lava and water falling down from the mountains and an artic scenery.
Then I was mining under my house in the mountains during night, and when I come back to the surface I was WHOA. All the trees in the mountain was on fire! and a lot of cows, chickens, pigs, mobs dead around (I figured out because the items LOL) and I didnt understood what happened!
But anyway, now I noticed that theres a lot of tall trees, but I mean A LOT!
Theres a way to change the tall trees density?
Wow! thanks for the quick reply!
