    I like this mod, it is a lot different from the other coal into toolsets mod, and doesn't seem OP. it takes a lot of coal to do too

    1. $30 bucks isn't that much. i'm not even 18 and i got it. i just arranged a deal with family
    2. yes. get a renamon skin already made by someone. drop it in your .jar, inside on of the folders. i can't remember where to put the skin file, but it is named char.png. put the renamon skin there and rename it to char.png. (this worked on 1.8.1, i do not know about anything past that)

    no, i got 2k+ posts by providing resourceful information on this board, and asking questions in places i needed to know stuff. but when i see questions like your everyday i start to get sick of them. as a general rule of thumb, check the last 3 pages before asking any questions

    what do you mean it doesn't work? do the monoliths not spawn, or is it the mini-dungeons that don't spawn? what about it isn't working

    When you connect any IC2 power cables to the thaumic generators so do they automatically start to produse ALOT of taint.
    As you can se from this image so is 20 thaumic generators only connected to some glass fiber cables and they are easily able to produce 100% taint grow.

    And in the background so can you see how many totems of dusk i needed to get the same result at 20 generators.I needed 100 totems of dusk to get the same result as 20 generators.
    I did also test the buildcraft pipes and the blueletric energy but they did only produce taint when they were supplied with vis.

    Well that is the bug but i am also wondering if the taint grow is needed for the thaumic generators at all, since they are using vis to produce energy so do they already have a cost to use them.
    The process of making the vis is also producing taint, so i dont think they need a so high cost to be used as they are far from powerpowerd.
    I did say at the current vis cost so are they really well balanced, without the taint cost.


    Note: i am useing ThaumCraft 2.1.6.c at the moment.

    all those totems of dusk over there might be causing your taint issues
