posted a message on Dynmap - Dynamic web-based maps for Minecraft
    Hi there!

    Is there any way to:

    1) Disable the 3d view and cave view?

    2) Save via FTP to an external server?

My host got mad because it was taking up so much space.. And I really miss this plugin. I would possibly use MySQL but it is very slow compared to internal storage because it has to upload everything and takes a while, rather than just saving to it's own disk. Any help on tips to decrease the size would be appreciated! I love this plugin.

I still need to add support for the 1.8-specific vanilla blocks - hoping to get to this sometime today.

For folks using Spigot 1.8 (which I also contribute code to), BE VERY CAREFUL - it's still quite broken, although a LOT of serious bugs were fixed yesterday. There were still problems as of yesterday morning that would result in permanent loss of things like you world seed and the like, which would permanently screw up generation of new chunks versus your existing ones, and problems where any 'hacked' block IDs (like some folks do with WorldEdit - non-standard meta values, in particular) were causing crashes for both Dynmap chunk loading AND for the server proper (when players loaded them). I cannot say this enough: back up EVERYTHING before you try Spigot 1.8 - there are very good folks working hard to get it where we all want it, but it is NOT there yet.

Don't scare me like this! haha
I'm less worried about dynmap honestly because you can just re-render the world over and over again.

My map seems to be rendering oddly since the 1.8 patch,

    http://puu.sh/daCcO/992b3f5efd.png

Black/inverted patches and no time is being displayed. I tried generating a new DynMap folder but the issue persists. I'm not getting an error message in the console.

Having the same issue. These are on areas that were previously loaded fine on 1.7.10

Areas that are newly loaded in 1.8 are below:

EDIT: The time works fine on mine.

Troll move. :P Gonna ignore that, but how can I make it so I get exp without wasting tons of swords?

I have created a zombie mob spawned trap after finding a zombie spawner. It pushes the zombies down a waterway and directly at the end of the water is lava that kills them. I can stand next to the lava and they die but don't drop any exp. Can anyone help me fix this?
