    1. Download the recommended version (or the latest)

    2. LOOK AT IT

    3. U will see that there is not even one file which name's gradle, just install.bat, install.sh, .py etc. NO GRADLE

    Yeah Chooster, you get it, so if i will make mod on 964, it should work on 1345, right?


    After all I think that 1.6.4 is a little bit old version, I think I will just mod the 1.7.10, easy and fast ;)


    And by the way do u know why don't they use gradle in the new versions?

    Ok, the newest version DOES NOT use gradle, and when I create them, I want to play them. So when I create a mod in 964, will it work when I will play it on the newest version?

    Hi everyone,

    When I go to mc.CosmicMC.com and go to Creative Plot, it works about for 1 minute, then lag the whole game and quit. I looked at the crash log, but it is the same as I normally quit the Minecraft... It does not crash on any other server, could it be because of the server? Or my forge?

    Hi,

    I wanted to edit my old mod, but I needed to set forge source up, so I ran command(on Mac, on Windows it's almost the same): bash install.sh, at the end, it gave me an error: http://pastebin.com/LeU1RStQ


    I tryied to do MCP first, I pasted minecraft_server.1.6.4.jar to jars folder in MCP but it still gives me the code...


    And I am using Java 7.

    When you are playing a little while in survival, you will need obsidian. But even if you have found diamonds, the mining of it takes too long. You can make just 3 things from obsidan (but powerful): Enchantment Table, Beacon and Ender Chest. Do you want to make your mining a lot faster? Do you want to take your enemies down faster? Do you want to have a lot faster tools than diamond? The durability of these tools is awesome, the speed of these tools is awesome! I wanted to make mod that looks like it belongs to Minecraft, so I did not add any super powers to the tools, they are like comparing wooden sword to stone sword, this is just better than diamond tools. So if you miss some tools, don't wait and download this mod!

    I did so many experiments with that, and finally, found it (thank you very much @Leviathan143, you gave me half of the solution). So I needed to copy that folder (the files in the folder are the same on Mac and Windows I think because there are just minecraft sources and java files) and when you go to the clipse/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/projectname/.location and I opened location and changed the path (to solve the ".project file is missing" problem) it did not work, so I copyied Forge folder, .gradlew folder and copyed it to my copmuter without internet, I opened new forge and did only ./gradlew eclipse, which gave me the .location file, so I copyied the .location and pasted it to setted forge, and it worked perfectly! I can now develop mods! THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!! It took me about 3 days to figure this out, it was hard.

    I copyied even the folder, but I don't know why there is still the ".project missing error", so I cannot open my project... Any ideas? But really thanks for help everyone!


    EDIT: I ALMOST GOT IT! When I will go to eclipse/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/projectname/.location


    I opened .location and there was the path, when I changed it I was not able to even open it, there was an error. So I will somewhere need to change the path to get it to work, BUT WHERE DO I CHANGE THE PATH???

    You mean the Forge source folder? Because when I transfer it it says that .project file is missing... Any ideas why? And what size should be approximetly decompiled forge source? I have it about 3 - 4 MB or 10 - 15 MB when I tryied it about 3 times. Do you know how to prevent SKIPPED when decompiling? Maybe the SKIPPED files should be downloaded.


    EDIT: And 1 more question that could help: How to clear cache?

    Hello,

    I started coding, so what I did is: Downloaded forge recommended src, installed latest JDK, downloaded Eclipse latest Luna IDE for Java Developers. So I am on Mac (not a bit difference in Windows with coding and sorry my English) and did: cd MyForgeFolder, then ran command: ./gradlew setupDecompWorkspace --refresh-dependencies, and the last one was: ./gradlew eclipse

    Something was skipped, and everything worked fine in Eclipse, but when I copy the decompiled source, and paste it into another computer, it is not working, but I also cannot run the commands again, so it can download the files because the other computer CANNOT have internet access, so where can I get ALL THE DOWNLOADED FILES, because it seems that they all are somewhere else. I was thinking about if it could be because the skipped files, someone told me they are downloaded somewhere and they do not have to download again, so they are skipped. PLEASE HELP, I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE HELP!!!!!!

    Hi, I tryied to run ShapeShifter almost with all Youtube videos, creating folder in versions, or downloading .jar file and putting to mods folder. I tryied 1.6.4 and 1.7.10. Please help me how to do it (I am on Mac but try to post in to Windows, too, if you have solution). The mod is like loaded but in inventory are not the things... WHAT CAN I DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? All my mods are working, this one no.
