Ok, I've seen that many of you are having issues with MCNostalgia. I've uploaded a new version of MCNostalgia, with some of the bugs fixed. You might notice that I don't include the patches folder anymore. This is on purpose, because MCNostalgia will now detect if there is no patches folder, and create it if it isn't there.
I'm going to put the coinurl link in again. You can choose which one you want.
MCNostalgia 2.1.2 via Adfly
MCNostalgia 2.1.2 via CoinURL
Heh, figured out the titled URL now

Yes, this should work for macs, now stop asking.

In the next version I'll probably include making backups so it can do "unpatching" (which as far as I can tell is how MCNostalgia 1.0.4 did it.)
Here's some screenshots from Windows (Actually Windows running in VirtualBox)

And here's some from Linux:

Instructions: Download the zip file, extract it. If you have python installed, use MCNostalgia2.1.2.py. If you don't, but are running Windows, use MCNostalgia2.1.2.exe. The program will give you instructions from there. Yes, this does work with Minecraft 1.4.6. Remember, if you already have MCNostalgia, you can either delete everything in the patches folder (but not the patches folder itself) or just delete the whole MCNostalgia folder and redownload. It turns out some archive utilities, (file-roller and maybe some others) don't extract a folder if its empty. The MCNostalgia zip has such a folder, and it's the patches folder. So if you are having problems, make sure that the patches folder exists.
EDIT: I have just been notified by CyborgDragon that I can take over the project for now, perhaps indefinitely. (See his thread for details.)
Tutorial for Windows: (Thanks to RandomMac5)
And finally, a tutorial for Mac OS X

You're welcome and yay! :biggrin.gif:
EDIT: The following may seem a bit fragmented; I'm just running around in my Equivalent Exchange world and looking at things and giving my feedback on them. Last night, all I did was run through my base on my guild's server and look at a few things.
Love the new glass texture! And the wood texture! It makes the bookcases look really nice. The health and hunger bars are pretty nice, too. (I didn't see them last night as I was on creative.) It might just be the lighting, but the new(?) texture for the crafting bench is a lot nicer looking as well. This might just be me, but on the texture for redstone wire that is going one way, it has "VTC" overlaid on it backwards. (Screenshot) That just seemed a little weird to me, thought not a huge issue; I can understand wanting to have people know who made the texture pack, it can get a tad repetitive. Other than that, the redstone looks great! Pumpkins look suitably creepy. The iron and gold block textures look really nice. So does the diamond! I wish I hadn't replaced my house made of diamond with dark matter blocks. (Yes, I put entirely too much time into this world.) The flowers look cool; the rose actually looks like a rose. Red clay looks nice, and makes it a lot easier to spot. I'm not sure if you updated the lava texture or not (I keep looking back and forth between the normal and Vivid and for some reason, it looks a lot better with Vivid, maybe it's the surrounding blocks?), but anywho, they look great with the texture pack. The mushroom textures are definitely an improvement over the regular Minecraft ones, and gravel actually looks nice! I hated the default gravel texture with a burning passion.
TL;DR: Awesome!
