PokémonMD: Undaunted Heroes (formerly Disciples of Corruption) adds new friendly and hostile mobs and useful items to enhance Minecraft game play. Although the mod bares the Pokémon name, nearly all mobs are combined with another popular media theme including Starcraft II, Final Fantasy, and Ōkami.
Spikybum Jolteon (a.k.a. Fuzzy Acorn Industries}
is the sole developer of this mod at this time.
This is a Forge Mod
Currently developed to Minecraft 1.7.10

(unless otherwise stated,
all mob images on this page are actual
in-game screen captures taken with fraps)
Although the mod is labeled to be in “Beta,” it is very stable and safe to use.
Disclaimer: I apologize to anyone offended by themes in the mod. I do sincerely love Pokémon and am just using creative/artistic expression.
Poketamable Mobs:
General use and care of Poketamables

Poketamables behave much like vanilla Minecraft tamables. Punch an enemy and they will attack. They sit to stay put and keep them from attacking. While sitting, all tamables slowly regain health.
For the most part, Poketamables do not have to worry about friendly fire. Players cannot directly hurt tamable Pokémon outside of Creative Mode with few exceptions. This let’s players be in the midst of battle with them without accidently hurting them.
To help move about the world, Players can use the item, Essence Recaller, to change them back into their summon item form if at full health.

Trivia: The Essence Recaller look is based on the team badges from the actual Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games. The same badges are used to teleport Pokémon out of dungeons.
An item helpful for issuing attacks is the Attack Orderer. Right click near the center of a target mob to send all of your non-sitting Poketamables in the area to attack. Sneak (usually shift key) + right-click to disengage all attacking Poketamables.

* Any tier of Tiberium shards can be used; all create the exact same item though
Caring for your Poketamable
When your Poketamable is low health, its idle cries will change and it will take on a sad face to let you know. There are a few ways to heal them. The simplest and easiest way is to simply have them sit and they will slowly recover hit points on their own. Players will know it is working with an occasional green particle that appears.
Another way is to feed them Oranian Berries. Oranian Berries are growable crops that are rare drops from certain hostile mobs or produced with the Verdant Purifier tech block with the following recipe:

* Apple as the main ingredient; any fuel will work
The Poketamable will show its appreciation for topping off its health.

It is a simple inevitability that your Poketamable will run out of help. Instead of dying, it drops a “KO’d” version of its summon item. They can be restored in one of two recipes using Firecracker Litten as an example:

Revive Seeds are a rare drop from harvesting Oranian Berry crops or crafted as below:

Revive Seeds have the advantage of not requiring a 3x3 crafting table to restore your Poketamable while on the go.
Fire Immunity
A few of the Poketamables are immune to fire but a few are not. If they are slain in a fire or lava, they KO’d item will be lost to be careful! A solution is feeding your Poketamable a Rawstetta Berry. It grants the Poketamable Potion of Fire Resistance for a long time. Keep some handy if you want your Poketamable with you in fiery places.
Rawstetta Berries a growable crop that are either rare mob drops, certain Full Moon mob drops, or produced with the Verdant Purifier tech block as follows:

* Blaze Powder as the main ingredient; any fuel will work
Drowning Immunity
The growable crop Passhaura Berry can be fed to your Poketamable to grant Potion of Water Breathing for a long time, just like the Rawstetta Berry for fire immunity. The Passhaura Berry can only be produced with the Verdant Purifier.

* Raw Fish as the main ingredient; any fuel will work
Miscellaneous
Find Poketamable idle cries loud or annoying? Simply Sneak + Right Click them to toggle their idle cries. They will still make idle cries when badly injured though.
Note to Morph Mod users
Due to a gliche with how the Morph Mod works, slaying and absorbing your own Poketamable, if you can manage to do so, will only give you the injured appearance look and texture. In order to get a working Poketamable morph, you have to creative mode in the spawn egg, NOT the summon item, and slay and absorb that version. The spawn egg versions are untamed/impossible to tame and ignore the injured behavior tamed ones have.
These are the general features all Poketamables share. Below covers the specifics of each Poketamable.
Okami Umbreon, Espeon, and Sylveon:

Okami Umbreon is the least resource expensive Poketamable in the modification and can be a good start to get a feel for taking care of them. This Umbreon has the best durability and sustain of any of the Poketamables. Its weakness is its lack of damage output.
Pros:
~Very durable (high health and natural armor)
~Fire, poison, and wither immunity
~Auto regen health without sitting
~Faster regen when sitting than other Poketamables
Cons:
~Very slow
~Weak attack
~Shortest range of the Okami Eeveelutions

Okami Espeon is a fast, light, but high damage hitting Poketamable. Though it can hit hard, it cannot take much punishment.
Pros:
~High damage
~Longest Okami Eeveelution range
~Very fast
~Immunity to fall damage
Cons:
~Frail with low health
Trivia: Together, the Umbreon and Espeon additions to the mod are where the mod’s name, “Undaunted Heroes,” comes from. “Undaunted” is a reference to the same name expansion to the Pokémon Trading Card Game which featured Umbreon and Espeon as the theme deck face cards to “Daybreak” and “Nightfall” respectively. The very striking art to the boxes was motiving in my personal drawing art projects. The mod’s logo/crest honors this Umbreon/Espeon reference too.
Their Glaives are both inspired partially by the Pokémon Sun and Moon version crests.

* Obsidian, 2x Green Stained Clay, 2x Pink Wool are the blocks in this recipe
Okami Sylveon is an average between Umbreon and Espeon statistically speaking. A midway in terms of attack damage, range, speed, and durability.
Pros:
~Balanced stats
~Solid durability (high health and light natural armor)
~Can hold its own decently
~Constant regen effect without sitting
Cons:
~Lack of unique combat potential
Trivia: All three Okami Pokémon are a reference to Okami Amaterasu from the game Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Firecracker Litten:

* Any fireworks should work in the recipe
If League of Legends’ Firecracker Jinx had a Pokémon, it might be a Litten with two exploding firework launching cannons strapped to its back…
Firecracker Litten is a ranged mob that launches exploding firework rockets. Although they explode, they do not destroy blocks so do not worry about griefing your worlds. Because chances are, many players will watch hours melt away watching this Litten dish out its very colorful and noisy attacks.
The firework effects are randomly chosen though the color choices are hard programmed in rather than completely random, potentially ugly color combinations.
With this Poketamable at your side, simply order it with the Attack Orderer item and let the show begin! But if you really want a show, Proxy Pylon Carbink is a good target for a long show.
Pros:
~Ranged, small area of effect projectiles
~Very entertaining to use and watch
~Fast
~Immune to fall damage
~Immune to fire
Cons:
~Weak damage
~Low durability
~Struggles against knockback resistant mobs like Zombie Umbreon or Clay Luxio or fast mobs such as Clay Shinx or Tiberium Gowlithe
Trivia: Beyond a reference to Jinx from League of Legends by Riot Games, the back mounted cannons idea was inspired by Liger Zero Panzer from Zoids by Tomy.
Ionian Ninetales:

Ionian Ninetales uses two simple fireball attacks: one from a standing position, the other while jumping. The jumping in particular is useful in that it helps this Poketamable clear terrain for targets higher or lower than her.
Pros:
~Ranged
~Solid attack power
~Reasonable durability
~Immune to fire
Cons:
~Taller than other Poketamables; thus not as maneuverable
~Sometimes still has trouble clearing terrain with fireballs
~Struggles against highly durable, knockback resistant mobs such as Clay Luxio
Trivia: Ionian Ninetales is a sort of anthropomorphized version of Ahri from League of Legends by Riot Games. No breasts on this mob despite that reference. Not a fan of big bouncing blocks like that. This mob was originally started with the hopes of having a cool looking mob to run around the world in using the Morph Modification. Unfortunately, the model is a little too invasive on the player GUI to be very useful.
Foxfire Zorua:

A small mob that hops up in the air and summons mob like foxfire to attack the opponent. The foxfire attacks are not associated with Foxfire Zorua and in turn make it impossible to agro enemies against it. However, as a side effect, this damage does not count as player damage. Hostile mobs in this modification do not drop their drops unless a player has inflicted some direct damage through a tamable, physical contact, or other weapon.
However, Foxfire Zorua could have more potential use with other modification mobs…
Pros:
~Impossible to agro targets against itself or player
~Ranged
~Immune to fire
Cons:
~Low damage output
~”Attacks” must path to target
~”Attacks” ruined by water or rain
~Won’t trigger hostile Pokémon mob drops on its own
~Low health/durability
Trivia: Foxfire Zorua is yet another League of Legends reference, this time to the Foxfire Ahri skin. Of this six tamables added in Beta 1.0, Foxfire Zorua was the very first one and predates any intent to make the actual Ahri inspired mobs, Ionian and Bloodmoon Ninetales.
greater the shadow of darkness becomes…
Hostile Mobs:
Regular Hostile Mobs:

Spawns: Beach, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus,, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau
Drop: Aurum Dust
Rare Drop: Redstone Dust, Iron Ingot
A lightly armored mob that zips around the field to attack the player, it is difficult to hit due to the high speed and erratic-ness of the mob. It does not like water but cannot help but fall in on its own sometimes.
Trivia: Armored Shinx makes some visual references to the Ixion Aeon from Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft.
Bandersnatch Fennekin

Spawns: Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Stone Beach, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Stick, Snowball, Aurum Dust
Rare Drop: Blaze Rod, Nether Wart, Soul Sand
An arctic fox that drains the sanity of its targets with Weakness, Blindness, and Slow, it zips across the landscape but its small body lets it avoid fall damage. Despite its cold locations and look, it is still a fire type and can occasionally set the player on fire.

Bandersnatch Fennekin comes in two color patterns. The white is in the cold snowy areas and the greenish brown pattern in all other biomes. What it lacks in offensive power it makes up with camouflage and speed.
Trivia: Visually themed after the real life Arctic Fox, but its name is based on the Bandersnatch Fiend from Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft which spawns in the snowy tops of Mt. Gagazet.
This mob is likely the first Fennekin mob ever modeled for Minecraft, the model having been made shortly before the revelation of its evolution, Braixen.
Clay Espurr

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Clay Ball
Rare Drop: Hardened Clay, Redstone Dust, Xel’Naga Shard
This seemingly tiny, harmless mob runs near a player and watches them at range. It casts the status effects Slow, Weakness, but worst of all, Blindness. Blindness makes most battles deadlier, especially in the midst of battle against a melee Clay Commander or Creepers.
It tries to avoid water but its fast movement speed tends to make it fall in water instead.
Trivia: Clay Espurr is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Clay Litten
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Blaze Powder, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Blaze Rod
A Full Moon mob that shoots streams of slow moving fireballs. The fireballs cannot be deflected but to move slow enough to be avoided. Unfortunately for it, the fireballs harm other hostile mobs which sometimes lead them to attack it. The fireballs do not affect targets immune to fire.
Trivia: Clay Litten is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio. Similar to the history of the Fennekin line at the time, Clay Litten is probably the first deployment of a seventh generation Pokémon mob in Minecraft. It was modeled and implemented only a few day after the global unveiling of the starter Pokémon.
Clay Luxio
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Quartz, Glowstone Dust, Lapis Lazuli, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Iron Ingot, Xel’Naga Circuit
A fast, heavily armored mob that can take a great deal damage and give a solid amount back, Clay Luxio is nearly on par with Clay Commander Delcatty without its minions. But the Luxio appears as a common spawn under a full moon.
Despite its image as a fierce warrior, the mob does not like water.
Trivia: Clay Luxio is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio. The body armor design is inspired by the Saiyan armor from Dragonball Z by Akira Toriyama.
Clay Meowth

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Clay Ball
Rare Drop: Hardened Clay, Xel’Naga Shard
A slow, weak, seemingly harmless mob; however, it can climb walls and reach places the player retreats to in the face of other Clay figures and Clay Commanders. Alone it is easy to defeat but when teamed with other mobs, it can become more dangerous.
It is surprisingly well suited to fighting basic melee tamable mobs.
Trivia: Clay Meowth is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Clay Purrloin

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Clay Ball
Rare Drop: Hardened Clay, Xel’Naga Shard
A fast but unintelligent mob that can knock a player around, it becomes a greater threat when summoned in a swarm by a Clay Commander.
Trivia: Clay Purrloin is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Clay Shinx
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Lapis Lazuli, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Glowstone Dust
A very mobile mob with a decent attack power and durability, the most troubling feature is that when it closes in, it leaps high into the air onto the target. It makes for a surprisingly difficult target to keep off of the player without some practice.
Trivia: Clay Shinx is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Clay Skitty

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Clay Ball
Rare Drop: Hardened Clay, Xel’Naga Shard
A primary attacker of the Clay Army mobs, it seeks out players at a decent speed. Though not hurt by water, it tries to avoid it whenever possible.
Trivia: Clay Skitty is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Cujo Furfrou
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Birch Forest, Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Forest, Forest Hills, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Roofed Forest, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Blaze Powder, Aurum Dust, Black Wool
Rare Drop: Glowstone Dust
A fast moving Full Moon mob, Cujo Furfrou has a solid attack power and also inflicts a heavy poison on the target. It has a short, horizontal leap attack. It is close to the most difficult regular hostile mobs to fight in the modification.
Trivia: “Cujo” is a twisted dog from a novel by the same name by Stephen King. The author played on exaggeration of what happens to animals infected with rabies (which is where the poison status effect comes from). Furfrou was chosen over other canine Pokémon for the role of Cujo in order to poke fun of a hilariously terrible horror B-movie called “The Boneyard” who’s star attraction was a giant mutant zombie poodle (no joke).
Cuotl Ekans

Spawns: Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Stone Beach, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Aurum Dust, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Glowstone Dust , Xel’Naga Circuit
Cuotl (koo-aht-l) Ekans is a lightly armored mob that hovers through air. It inflicts poison on contact and can scale walls to reach targets.
Trivia: Cuotl Ekans is visually themed and named after the Cuotl faction from the game, Rise of Legends, by Big Huge Games.
Demon Vulpix

Spawns: (at diamond level) Desert, Desert Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Nether, Mesa, Mesa Plateau, Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Stone Beach
Drop: Paper, Gold Nugget, Blaze Powder
Rare Drop: Blaze Rod, Nether Wart, Soul Sand
A mob that attacks with fireballs, increasing its attack rate the closer the player is. Demon Vulpix can easily ravage a poorly equipped or unskilled player with ease. Thankfully, it spawns only spawns at Diamond level in the biomes it spawns in. The Vulpix has no fear of water.
Said to be the reincarnation of a Tube Fox from another world, its fear of Wolves may be a distant memory of its defeat at the paws of Ōkami Amaterasu. Naturally, if fears the Okami Poketamables too.
Though difficult to defeat, it rewards the player with a generous amount of Experience. One of the best strategies to fight is melee while carefully using cave terrain to put blocks between you and its fireballs.
Trivia: The decorative look on this Vulpix is inspired by the Tube Fox from the game. Ōkami, by Clover Studio.
Doomstone Glaceon

Spawns: (at snow level) Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus; (anywhere) Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Frozen Ocean, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains
Drop: Packed Ice, Snowball, Bone, Lapis Lazuli
Rare Drop: Extra Lapis Lazuli
An Undead, skeleton Glaceon entombed in ice. It is resistant to knockback and has high health. Despite it is an ice block, it cannot stay afloat. Gravity devastates it, fatal at about 8 blocks high.
It does not like sunlight, but instead of simply melting at dawn, it goes up in flames. A hard core way to go.
Trivia: Doomstone Glaceon is based on the Doomstone class fiends from Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft.
Doomstone Leafeon

Spawns: Cold Taiga Hills, Desert, Desert Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Forest Hills, Ice Mountains, Jungle Hills, Mega Taiga Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau, Plains, Savanna Plateau, Stone Beach, Taiga Hills
Drop: Cobblestone, Gravel, Bone, Quartz
Rare Drop: Stone, Extra Quartz
A fossilized Leafeon entombed in stone; very durable with high health and knockback resistance. It sinks like a stone in water and will drown… eventually. Gravity is very crippling to this Undead mob, fatal at about 8 blocks high.
Trivia: Doomstone Leafeon is based on the Doomstone class Fiends from Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft.
Forcewind Eelektrik

Spawns: Beach, Deep Ocean, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Frozen ocean, Frozen River, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Ocean, River, Stone Beach, Swampland
Drop: Aurum Dust, Raw Fish, Ink Sack
Rare Drop: Redstone Dust
A lumbering mob that is capable of scaling walls and inflicting slow on the target. It hovers through the air and suffers no fall damage.
Trivia: Forcewind Eelektrik takes visual themes from the Forcewing unit from Dominant Species by Red Storm Entertainment. It is expected in a future update that the Eelektrik’s AI will be completely rewritten with ranged attacks like the Forcewing had.
Grenade Togepi

Spawns: Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Ice Mountains
Drop: Gun Powder (requires looting enchantment)
Rare Drop: Netherrack, Blaze Powder
Special Drop: If right clicked with Flint and Steel, instant kill and drops Netherrack and Aurum Dust instead
A weak mob that normally attacks melee. After it is damaged two times, so long as it can see the player, it detonates in an explosion slightly weaker than a Creeper's.
It is one shot by Flint and Steel and has different drops when done so.
Trivia: Grenade Togepi is inspire by the Grenade monster from Final Fantasy VII by Squaresoft.
Infested Deerling

Spawns: (near grass blocks) Birch Forest, Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Forest, Forest Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Roofed Forest, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Swampland, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Stick, Slime Ball, Cactus Green Dye
Rare Drop: Pechita Berry, Mycelium, Nether Wart
A plague ridden, Undead Deerling, somewhat fast, weak attack, but packs loads of status effects, including: Weakness, Slow, Poison, and Blindness.
Trivia: Infested Deerling takes some visual themes from the Infested Terran and Infestor Units from Starcraft II by Blizzard Entertainment. A future mob will properly represent the Infestor and spawn Infested Deerlings.
The mob is the oldest surviving model in the modification. First made June 2013, it was the first model created when the mod moved to Indev (Basic > Indev > Alpha > Beta) (Just a “for your information” if you were wondering why this model is so much simpler to the rest of the modification)
Proxy Pylon Carbink

Spawns: All Vanilla biomes except Nether, The End, and Mushroom biomes
Drop: Xel’Naga Shard, Aurum Dust, Quartz, Glowstone Dust
Rare Drop: Xel’Naga Circuit
Sporting armor tougher than diamond, Proxy Pyon Carbink is fully stationary and immune to knockback. It takes tremendous amount of punishment to take down despite its rather low health. It is extremely susceptible to Poison.
It has no offensive abilities other than summoning Zealot Pawniard into battle. It can only warp in up to 10. This Carbink is not the best at warping and sometimes warps its companions into walls.
If a player simply wants this mob out of the way, they can drop a block on top of the Carbink and it will warp away (despawn).
Trivia: Proxy Pylon Carbink is a reference to a Starcraft II tactic where a player of the Protoss faction places a structure called a Pylon near an enemy’s base. The player proceeds to warp in basic Protoss units as a shortened re-enforcement point and overwhelm the opponent. The Pylon is called a “Proxy Pylon” by players. Starcraft II is by Blizzard Entertainment.
Scrubby Darmanitan
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Stone Beach
Drop: Aurum Dust, Blaze Powder, Rawstetta Berry
Rare Drop: Blaze Rod
A devastating mob that spawns under the full moon, Scrubby Darmanitan is a blazing nightmare on a poorly equipped/skilled player. It is fast and has high attack power and fire aspect chance. Thankfully it is a big, glowing bit of red so players will know from a distance one is coming. And players will need that because the Darmanitan has a long sight range (unless it is in a bush, then it laughably can’t see the player standing next to it).
Trivia: Technically a reference to the Minecraft modification Advent of Ascension, credit is given to the Diamond Dimensions series by TheDiamondMinecart. The first two episodes of the series I saw were the first episodes the Scrubby mob appeared and tragically wasted DanTDM; episodes #174-175 were the episodes the hooked me on the series. Scrubby Darmanitan makes an attempt to carry on the legacy of “the little red things.” The first video can be viewed at:
Snow Sorceress Braixen

Spawns: (at snow level) Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus; (anywhere) Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Frozen Ocean, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains
Drop: Stick, Aurum Dust, Snowball
Rare Drop: Blaze Rod, Nether Wart, Soul Sand
A caster that delivers its statuses at range, it is an imperfect mage and cannot cast them accurately and consistently, but can cast multiple effects at once from time to time. Its status effects include Fire Aspect, Poison, Weakness, Slow, and Blindness. It has no ability to inflict damage directly otherwise.
Trivia: Snow Sorceress Braixen is the first “Braixen” ever made for Minecraft, first modeled Sept. 11, 2013, within 24 hours following Serebii.net posting the Japanese magazine Coro Coro’s leaked the first images of Braixen. The model was originally named “Arctic Bandit Teerunaa,” based on a rough translation of the Japanese name and a random guess as to what the Pokémon would do. The “thief” concept was based on Bandersnatch Fennekin’s name, a mob which had already been added as a working mob in the modification at the time.
Once it was discovered Braixen was based on a witch, the model was given a wand to hold and the name was changed to “Snow Sorceress Braxien.” The stick kept on its tail was left as is rather than replaced, simply for nostalgic reasons. The final mob in the evolution series, “Artic Warlock Delphox”, has a similar story and it and the model are still under consideration as a future minor boss mob.
A long winded story as to why this snowy Fennekin line lacks any true references like most other mobs in this modification do.
Swordie Mienshao

Spawns: Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Frozen Ocean, Frozen River, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Stone Beach, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Gold Nuggets
Rare Drop: Ingot worth of Gold Nuggets
A highly aggress mob that will even attack other hostiles if they merely bump into Swordie Mienshao. The arm scythes give the mob a slight range on its attack. When it pulls its scythe back to attack, the player can move backwards out of range to avoid it.
The mob blends in rather well in the Taiga biomes at night.
Trivia: Swordie Mienshao is based on the Swordie Seru from Legend of Legaia by Contrail.
Tiberium Growlithe

Spawns: Desert, Desert Hills, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Stone Beach
Drop: Tiberium Shard
Rare Drop: Ender Pearl
Tiberium (tie-beer-ee-um) Growlithe is a fast, hard hitting mob. It leaps at its targets, sometime moving past them and attacking from behind. Players can have a very troubling time when first facing this mob. It becomes increasingly more dangerous with more than one Tiberium Growlithe attacking at a time.
A future update intends to turn this into a more sophisticated, pack hunter oriented mob with higher grade Tiberium variants being deadlier and more intelligent.
Trivia: Tiberium Growlithe is a reference to the Fiend and associated Tiberium from the Commander & Conquer series created by Westwood Studios.
Zealot Pawniard

Spawns: No natural spawn; only spawned by Proxy Pylon Carbink
Drop: None
Rare Drop: Xel’Naga Shard
Its life for Aiur! Despite its weak attack, low health, and light armor, this Pawniard still fights fervently. It is more dangerous in a group summoned by Proxy Pylon Carbink.
Trivia: Zealot Pawniard is based on the Zealot from Starcraft II by Blizzard Entertainment. It even uses a slightly altered sound file of the Zealot.
Part of the idea to add this mob to the modification came from one of the Minecraft welcome screens:

Zombie Flareon

Spawns: Desert, Desert Hills, Nether, Mesa, Mesa Plateau, Savanna, Savanna Plateau
Drop: Aurum Dust, Yellow Wool
Rare Drop: Rawstetta Berry, Blaze Rod
The slow and frail, Undead Flareon has a devastating attack power with a fire aspect chance. Broad daylight boosts its fire aspect to 100% chance. Put bluntly, it can rape an armored player if they are pinned against this Flareon by something else.
The Flareon is hurt by water and cannot survive in rain. A water bucket is a useful weapon until you meet it in abundance in the Nether.
Trivia: Zombie Flareon takes visual elements from Minecraft's Zombie Pigmen.
Zombie Leafeon

Spawns: (near grass blocks) Birch Forest, Cold Taiga, Cold Taiga Hills, Forest, Forest Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Roofed Forest, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Swampland, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Brown Mushroom, Red Mushroom, any Vanilla Sappling
Rare Drop: Pechita Berry, Mycelium, Podzol
An Undead, fungi infested Leafeon that hits hard and fast. Not the smartest mob but makes up for it with speed and power. It is among the deadliest early game mobs and a strong reason to stay inside.
Trivia: Not really based on any media, mostly just a reference to fungi growing on areas where plants have died. The Zombie Leafeon of today descended from one of the first mobs added to Disciples of Corruption during Basic (Basic > Indev > Alpha>Beta); during a time before the idea of mixing Pokémon with other media references existed.
Zombie Umbreon

Spawns: All Vanilla biomes except Nether, The End, and Mushroom biomes
Drop: Aurum Dust
Rare Drop: Glowstone Dust, Pechita Berry, Oranian Berry
A tough and durable Undead mob that resists Knockback and packs a slight chance of inflicting an intense poison on a player. Not very fast but can certainly make more frail hostiles difficult to eliminate.
Trivia: Zombie Umbreon uses visual elements from Minecraft's Zombie Pigmen
Mini-Boss Mobs:

Spawns: Beach, Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Extreme Hills Plus,, Ice Mountains, Ice Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau
Drop: Redstone Dust, Iron Ingot
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Glowstone Dust, Extra Iron Ingot
Heavily armored, if a player is not careful, Armored Luxray will pin them against a wall. In addition to its melee attack, on contact it drops a lightning bolt on top the player.
Resistant to knockback, it forces a player to be weary of their surrounding when engaging it. Thankfully, it does not summon companions to battle with it.
Despite all its ferocity in combat and appearance, it tragically does not like water.
Trivia: Armored Luxray makes some visual references to the Ixion Aeon from Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft and Saiyan armor from Dragonball Z by Akira Toriyama.
Clay Commander Delcatty

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Clay Ball, Iron Ingot, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Extra Iron Ingot, Extra Xel’Naga Shards
Solid health and heavy armor, Clay Commander Delcatty can sustain tremendous punishment before falling. Every time it takes damage, there is a chance it will spawn another, non-leader or Full Moon clay figure to diversify its attack pattern.
Clay Espurr is probably the most dangerous figure it spawns as it can inflict slow and blindness behind the lines of the melee fighters, heavily changing the battle's outcome if the player is not keen on their surrounds (when was there a Creeper there near you?).
Despite its fierce combat potential, it avoids water. Use that to gain an environmental advantage. Just beware that not all clay figures avoid water.
Trivia: Clay Commander Delcatty is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio. The insignia on the helmet bares the symbol on Orochi’s Earth head. Clay Commander Delcatty was the first mob of its class added to the mod and the "Commander" name was added as a reference to Commander Mars from Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum who used cat Pokémon.
Clay Commander Liepard

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Clay Ball, Iron Ingot, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Extra Iron Ingot, Extra Xel’Naga Shards
What this mob lacks in smarts it makes up for in speed and power and the ability to summon other Clay figures when it is damaged. Out in the open, this Liepard will force a fight on a player once it gets close, extremely difficult to retreat from.
Oddly, the Clay figures it summons can hinder it as much as help it. They can make the Liepard have a difficult time attacking the player if its minions are in the way. But the rarely summoned Clay Espurr can dampen the battle with Blindness and Slow.
The Liepard is best engaged in ways where it cannot make use of its leap attack such as lured over a two block deep body of water.
Trivia: Clay Commander Liepard is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Clay Commander Meowstic-M

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Jungle, Jungle Edge, Jungle Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Hardened Clay, Clay Ball, Glowstone Dust, Redstone Dust, Xel’Naga Shard
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Xel’Naga Circuit
A ranged caster of many status effects including Weakness, Blindness, and Digging Slowness, it can also cast nausea but as an odd side effect, it boosts the player’s attack power.
The Meowstic carries one damaging attack, “Psychic.” The mob raises its ears when it is channeling the attack. When it wags its ears forward, the target it tossed in the air and damaged.
This Clay Commander can more easily summon Clay figures into battle than other Commanders. It does not like water.
Trivia: The Nausea/Attack Boost status combination is a reference to the Pokémon move, Swagger which causes confusion but boosts attack at the same time. It is a popular move on male Meowstic in competitive play. Visually, Clay Commander Meowstic-Male is inspired by the Clay Soldiers from Ōkami by Clover Studio.
Dark Glass Manectric

Spawns: Beach, Desert, Desert Hills, Mesa, Mesa Plateau
Drop: Glass, Ender Pearl
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Ender Eye, Glowstone Dust, Void Glass
A troublesome mob that randomly switches between a melee and a kamikaze attack pattern, it emphasizes melee but when it does detonate, its explosion is more potent than a Creeper’s. When it is getting ready to detonate, the mob stops, looks forward, and makes a sound of cracking glass.
It can also inflict slow on its melee attack, making it difficult to keep a distance when it does switch to an explosive attack. The player must use care in melee-ing this mob. Dark Glass Manectric’s detonation timer does not always reset when the player moves out of range until it switches back to its melee attack.
Trivia: Dark Glass Manectric takes inspiration from the Alin faction’s glass units in Rise of Legends by Big Huge Games, even including the Glass Shock attack. Only for this Manectric, it kills itself rather than reconstituting.
Vegnagun Dustox
Full Moon Mob

Spawns: Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, Ice Mountains, Mesa Plateau, Savanna Plateau, Stone Beach
Drop: Arrows, Quartz, Glowstone Dust, Xel’Naga Circuit; (with looting enchantment only) Diamond
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Xel’Naga Dynamo
A very difficult mob to engage without good gear, Vegnagun Dustox randomly chooses between two different, ranged arrow attacks. One is a shotgun blast of three arrows. The spread adds some challenge to avoiding the attack but as is with Minecraft, the damage does not stack if hit by more than one. For its second attack, the mob flies up into the air and launches a volley of arrows as it descends.
Considering this mob spawns under a full moon in an area where other Full Moon mobs spawn with their long sight range and potent attack power, this can make the battle much more dangerous. There is not a lot of cover and Vegnagun Dustox has a long range.
It is not recommended fighting this mob in a straight up melee fight. Yet the true rewards of fighting this mob are not available unless the player uses a looting enchanted sword as the killing blow.
Trivia: Vegnagun Dustox is visually themed after a final boss in Final Fantasy X-2, the moth like machine weapon called Vegnagun.
Verktora Mightyena

Spawns: Nether
Drop: Gold Nugget, Aurum Dust, Ghast Tear, Colberta Berry
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Blaze Rod, Nether Wart, Soul Sand
Verktora (verk-tohr-ah) Mightyena: A very fast, Undead mob with Fire Aspect and inflicts blindness. It does suffer from Knockback and can be kept at bay with carefully timed attacks. Otherwise this two headed beast could decimate a poorly skill/equipped player in the Nether.
Trivia: Verktora Mightyena is based on the Verktora monster from Legaia 2: Duel Saga by Eidos Interactive.
Voorst Mightyena

Spawns: Birch Forest, Cold Taiga, Forest, Forest Hills, Mega Taiga, Mega Taiga Hills, Roofed Forest, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Swampland, Taiga, Taiga Hills
Drop: Aurum Dust, Glowstone Dust
Rare Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Blaze Rod, Nether Wart, Soul Sand
Voorst (voo-rst) Mightyena: Immune to fire and resistant to knockback, this two headed beast can force a player to retreat or use cunning use of the environment. The Mightyena packs high health and immunity to poison and slow.
Trivia: Voorst Mightyena is based on the Voorst monster from Legaia 2: Duel Saga by Eidos Interactive.
Minor Boss Mob:

Bloodmoon Ninetales
Spawns: Desert, Desert Hills, Ice Plains, Mesa, Mesa Plateau, Plains, Savanna, Savanna Plateau
Drop: Blessing of Arceus, Ender Pearl, Aurum Dust, Blaze Rod, Nether Wart
Rare Drop: Golden Apple, Will of the Ancients
Special Drop: If slain with a looting enchanted sword, will drop a second Blessing of Arceus
On nights of the full moon, there is a chance this Minor Boss mob will spawn and sometimes she does not come alone. She can be a tough fight and next to impossible to fight completely melee yet she is the only mob in the modification to guarantee the item drop required to obtain a Poketamable.
Players who have an unexpected encounter out in the field do not have to worry too much about an aggressive attack. Before her health drops to below 50%, her attacks are more to harass than actually fight. Her aggression changes immediately when crossing 50% health.
Below tells what this mob is fully capable and players and plan how to fight it. Going into this fight blind unless one has extremely powerful weapons/tools from another modification could be in serious trouble.
But beware! Do not think this is a one on one fight. Other mobs of the night, particularly other Full Moon mobs are likely to join the battle. The player could be poisoned by Cujo Furfrou, blinded by Clay Espurr, nauseated by Clay Commander Meowstic-M, or other invasive mob effects. Bloodmoon Ninetales can agro other hostile mobs against it but in the case of melee ones, particularly Clay Luxio, they could prompt her to teleport around the field, making it harder to keep Bloodmoon Ninetales in one place, thus inviting even more mobs to the fight.
Passive Ability-Proxy Vengeance: Any time Bloodmoon Ninetales begins channeling an attack, if her target is in very close range, the target is immediately dealt instant damage in addition to the attack about to be executed.
Passive Ability-Flash (3 second cooldown): If whatever is about to damage Bloodmoon Ninetales is at point blank range, she teleports away. This ability is what makes meleeing Bloodmoon Ninetales extremely, if not impossible to fully fight without ranged attacks. Flash does not cancel an attack she is about to execute. Flash’s cooldown is ignored for explosions.
Active Ability-Ignite (30 second cooldown): Bloodmoon Ninetales’ finishing move. When target falls to less than two hearts (4HP), she casts Ignite. Ignite nullifies all buffs associated with a golden apple including Potion of Fire Resistance and sets target on fire for 30 seconds. If the player has no means of extinguishing this flame, it will likely be fatal.
Basic Fireball Attacks: Bloodmoon Ninetales’ opens battle with single little fireballs, usually launched when jumping in the air. The fireballs can be knocked back but they won’t hurt her. When using a bow, it would be wise to side step them and then fire an arrow. Otherwise a player could use up their arrow supply too quickly before the real fight gets underway.

Summon Foxfires: The Ninetales’ other opening attack where she twirls around and summon three foxfire mobs to chase the target. They are fast and can leap at the target. However, they can be destroyed in one hit of pretty much anything. It is actually best to get rid of them at range as they are hard to hit melee before they hit the target. Once they hit their target, they disappear. They do have a lifespan and eventually will fizzle out. (known gliche: If the Morph Mod is in use, it will absorb each foxfire at the particular animation frame when slain; if the player morphs into them, they will only be at that one frame in the animation.)
Below 50% Health:
Now Bloodmoon Ninetales’ gets serious and adds two more attacks to its arsenal.

Foxfire Storm: Bloodmoon Ninetales twirls around and summons a large number of random fireballs around it and launches them in a random, scattered pattern about the target. Most of the fireballs will miss but it becomes harder to tell which ones need to be knocked away to avoid damage. The attack is inaccurate enough that the player can stand completely still and all fireballs will miss but this more an exception than a rule.

Fire Blast: Any player of the Pokémon games is likely to recognize this iconic attack used in every generation of the Pokémon games. Bloodmoon Ninetales twirls around then leaps into the air to launch the Kanji style arrangement of fireballs, each over 2x the attack power of the regular fireballs. While the damage does not stack, it does turn the attack into more of an area of effect attack being able to hit a number of targets at once. The attack is large and powerful but because of the long pause before the attack is executed, now is the time to pop a shot and get ready to sprint out of the way. Because it is an arrangement of fireballs, you can only knock them back individually.
If a player can manage to deal the finishing blow with a looting enchanted sword, they will be rewarded with a second Blessing of Arceus drop. And yes, it is possible to do so with only Vanilla Minecraft items.
Trivia: Unlike every other mob in the modification, Bloodmoon Ninetales is the only mob that does not used mixed cries of a Pokémon. Instead, she uses slightly altered sounds files from Ahri, from League of Legends, which she is based on. “Bloodmoon” is a reoccurring skin theme in League of Legends too, although there is no “Bloodmoon Ahri” skin. League of Legends is by Riot Games.
Items and Blocks:
Mystic Tech Items/Blocks:

Ingredients:
4x Glass Blocks
1x Xel’Naga Shard
Visually very similar to regular glass only with a slight blue-ish tint. It is distinctly different from regular class in that it glows slightly, makes different sounds, and most importantly, is more blast resistant. Void Glass is an ideal material for the nether, although expensive. It cannot be made into panes.
Xel’Naga Tech Block

An ingredient block that can also serve as decoration or a light source. It also serves as a storage block for Xel’Naga Shards.
Xel’Naga Circuit

Ingredients:
2x Void Glass
4x Quartz or 4x Tiberium Shard
2x Glowstone Dust
1x Xel’Naga Shard
Xel’Naga Dynamo

Ingredients:
2x Obsidian
4x Block of Quartz or 4x Block of Tiberium
2x Xel’Naga Circuit
1x Xel’Naga Tech Block
Little more than a fancy block that projects a lot of light, it is an important ingredient block.
Trivia: Although named after the Xel’Naga race of Starcraft II, the visual concept is inspired by the main Dynamo in the Main Gyro Chamber in Sanctuary Fortress from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
Xel’Naga Pylon

Ingredients:
3x Void Glass
2x Obsidian
2x Block of Quartz or 2x Block of Tiberium
1x Xel’Naga Dynamo
1x Xel’Naga Circuit
“YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS.”
A block that powers other Mystic Tech blocks. A mystic Tech Block item merely needs to be within four blocks of a pylon to turn on, including above or below it.
Trivia: Visually and game mechanically based on the Protoss Pylon from Starcraft II.
Verdant Purifier

Ingredients:
2x Void Glass
3x Obsidian
2x Block of Quartz or 2x Block of Tiberium
1x Xel’Naga Tech Block
1x Xel’Naga Circuit
A flower looking block that acts similar to a furnace but instead uses many plant materials to change certain items and blocks into other items.
It also requires power from a Xel’Naga Pylon within four blocks of it.
Known bug: The block animation resets at the beginning and end of purification.

Vespene Condenser

Ingredients:
1x Block of Emerald
2x Obsidian
3x Block of Quartz or 3x Block of Tiberium
2x Xel’Naga Circuit
1x Xel’Naga Dynamo
The ability to condense Vespene (vehsp-een) Gas out of literal thin air is a slow process but when combined with other items have some unusual effects and creations.
It also requires power from a Xel’Naga Pylon within four blocks of it.
No fuels are required but the process is very slow, depending on the potency of the item. The conversion is free but slow.
Developers note: The usage of the Vespene Condenser in Beta 1.0 is very lack luster as much of the content associated with it got suspended in order to focus on the Poketamables. This tech block will become much more useful in the future in terms of weapons, explosives, and other building materials.
Trivia: Vespene Gas is one of the two main resources from the Starcraft games. The current and future planned products of the Vespene Condenser are a creative crossover between other games such as Tiberium from Command & Conquer. Staying true to Starcraft’s design for the resource, it is to serve as a resource bottleneck and require the player to either build more expensive condenser or simply choose to make best use of the device they already have. The Block of Emerald in the recipe was a reference to an item that also did not make it to the Beta 1.0 update, Emerald of Chaos, a Sonic the Hedgehog reference specific to the early Archie Comics published comic series.
Condensation Recipes:
Quartz -> Tiberium Shard

Tiberium Shard -> Rich Tiberium Shard

Rich Tiberium Shard -> Neo Tiberium Shard

Berries:
Several of the berries can be produced with the Verdant Purifier. See the Verdant Purifier section for those recipes.
Colberta Berry

Consuming this berry will cure the Blindness status effect. It has a very slow grow time. It is only found as a drop from Verktora Mightyena.
Oranian Berry

A basic berry that heals half a heart of health when eaten, even if the player is not hungry. It is a rare drop of several Pokemobs.
Passhaura Berry

Grants the player the Water Breathing effect for approximately 30 seconds. Can be eaten before the timer runs out to reset the effect duration. This berry can only be found through production in the Verdant Purifier.
Pechita Berry

Cures the Poison effect. Very helpful for tackling Cave Spider spawners in Abandoned Mineshafts, especially on hard difficulty where the Poison effect lasts a long time and because it is a stackable item unlike Milk. It is a rare drop of several Pokemobs.
Rawstetta Berry

Grants the player Potion of Fire Resistance effect for a very brief moment. Helpful for the Nether in smart situations. It is a rare drop of several Pokemobs and a regular drop of several full moon mobs.
Silkscreen Alloy:
Trivia: Silkscreen Alloy is a reference is the Silkscreen research tech in Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri by Fireaxis Games.
Silkscreen Mesh

Silkscreen Mesh -> Silkscreen Alloy

Silkscreen Sword

Spiderkiss Sword

The Spiderkiss Sword is the same as the Silkscreen Sword except it also grants the ability to inflict a heavy Poison on the opponent. This is very useful for taking out armored foes vulnerable to the effect, particularly Proxy Pylon Carbink.
Just remember, Undead class mobs and other stronger mobs are immune to the poison effect.
Trivia: “Spiderkiss” is a reference to a class of sword in Final Fantasy X by Squaresoft. The sword involved inflicting poison on enemies when they were attacked with it.
Silkscreen Pickaxe

Silkscreen Shovel

Silkscreen Axe

Silkscreen Hoe

Silkscreen Helmet

Silkscreen Chestplate

Silkscreen Leggings

Silkscreen Boots

Miscellaneous Items
Aurum Rod

A simple crafting ingredient. Was supposed to be a key item for an item that has been delayed for the Vespene Condenser.
Inferno Fuel Rod

A simple fuel with 2x the potency of Coal. Useful for making use of abundance gunpowder if not using a Gunpowder intensive mod.
Abyssal Liquid Crystal

A furnace fuel with 4x the potency of Coal. Serves as another resource dump item if needed.
Dream Feather

For now, just a crafting ingredient but an item, like several, hoped to be expanded in the future including Golden Chaff below along with Silkscreen Mesh.
Golden Chaff

Golden Chaff is a means of getting a little bit more out of seeds if you have nothing else to do with them or Aurum dust. For now, it is just an ingredient used in the Verdant Purifier for Wheat.
Will of the Ancients

Another crafting ingredient, for now.
Creative Mode/Showcasing Items
Pokeraser

Instantly delete a Pokemob from this modification. This saves the player from having to slay every mob or switch to peaceful to get rid of mobs. Also useful for getting rid of tamables if playing around with them in creative mode.
The item is supposed to be programmed to prevent deleting other player’s Poketamables though, to prevent griefing.
Deminizer

Cut a Pokemob’s remaining health in half. Useful for getting mobs to relatively exact values or quickly cutting a durable mob’s health down quickly. This item is especially useful for looking at Bloodmoon Ninetales to get it to use its 50% or below health moves.
Trivia: This item’s name refers to a spell from the Final Fantasy series, Demi, a percent damage spell. The sound effect the item makes when used is an altered sound file for Demi from Final Fantasy VII.
Download
It is strongly recommended players play with this mod on maps with Creative mode optional in the event a future update accidently removes items/blocks from a previous version. As with any modification, a player should always create a backup of their map before updating their map.
Beta 1.0.1 for 1.7.10 can be found on my DeviantArt account: https://sta.sh/0eweocaqkc7
CurseForge will not accept this file and I have no way to fix this. I tried to play with this file the traditional way by putting it in your Mod folder via the %appdata% route and it does still seem to work.
