Just like to make a reminder to everyone. If you are going to compare two phones, make sure they are released around the same time and for the same type of people.

Comparing an old phone to a new phone will causes differences in speed and power.

    ---

I don't remember an android having voice control, thus,If it did, It will never be as accurate as siri...

Yep, it's there. Siri is a newer technology compared to what Android currently has, but it does also have it's own faults and issues.

Remember though, Apple did not invent Siri at all. They bought it and changed a few things.

IOS copied some features from Android, and Android copied some features from IOS.

    Siri
    - Android had voice control long before Apple had Siri, and even then, Android wasn't the first.

Excuse me? IOS Has game center and a lot of **** android doesn't have. iPhone doesn't have to download third party software,iPhone DOES have more apps

IOS has things Android doesn't has, Android has things IOS has. Sure, iPhone doesn't have to download third party software, but neither does Android.

    iPhone DOES have more apps

IOS may have more apps overall, but there are more free Android apps.

iPhone has more space than android,iPhone can handle thousands of apps,While android can only handle 100...

Depends on the phone. Unlike IOS, Android can be on many different phones and isn't locked to one specific specific company (IOS is only available for products that Apple makes, nobody else can use it.). Some phones are worse than an iPhone, some are better.

Don't listen to wiki,Its got lies.

Wikipedia has more truths than lies. :wink.gif: Wikipedia has guidelines that require sources (while yes... some have poor sources, but the majority do have good sources).

posted a message on How can you reduce lag when using a HD texture pack?
I don't understand how Minecraft can lag so much more just because of a texture pack with double the resolution, I've played games with better graphics than Minecraft that have lagged less.

Even if it's double the resolution, the amount of processing and rendering needed goes up exponentially. The amount of pixels shown increases greatly. Don't expect it to be "oh just a few more".

Sure, other games may have better graphics than Minecraft, but are any of those games randomly generated and allow you to FULLY interact with the environment?

The game needs to keep track of every block, item, and mob. All this together can cause the game to be slow.

Don't expect to be able to run an HD texture pack. If it can't run well with a normal one, you aren't going to get it to run with one.

posted a message on Omg, once again 1.7 hasn't fixed a thing!
Not sure why you avoided it, but please tell us what the specs of your computer is. Yes, some people have issues with spiky frame rate, not everybody does.

This will not be an easy solution for Notch, as he has to figure out where the problem is, what the problem is, and why does it effect some people differently than others. You said you don't want to go through all the class files to fix this problem, I'm sure Notch doesn't want to do that either.

So, specs - CPU, Graphics Card ("2nd best ATI" does not help us), RAM, and any other information you feel would be helpful.

We might not be able to fix the problem 100%, but we can try to find ways to help you a little bit.

Oh, and new computer =/= good computer.
