How about there's a weak ghost mob guarding the treasures (only at night) that constantly flies around and trying to fly through you, when it does it pushes you back, it'd try to get you away from the treasure.
You'd have to swing in it's direction with a sword or something.
If thread is so easy to get, then spidersilk should be distinct and would need improving. Maybe it makes a higher-tier bow, perhaps can be made into armour.
Effect:When activated, all mobs and players within a sphere (radius 7) are fully healed.
Time to Charge:20 minutes
Time to Deplete:60 minutes
Time to Charge Shrine:30 minutes
How to Recharge: When held.

Oooh yes, just one really low-tech gun would be good.
Minecraft is in about that era, I thought about it earlier and didn't like it, but a gun like that sounds decent.
I think they all sound WAY too powerful, imo the power of them should increase or decrease randomly, like you could see a no big deal tornado, but then you could see one huge ass one killing everyone.

Yes, I think you should be able to increase the depth, I mean, I want maps that are so epicly deep it's actually a challenge to get to a bottom, it takes me about 50 seconds
and huge lava/water rooms would be ok too I guess
hmmm... well I'll be having my house have walls 3 layers thick, it would look like a cobblestone house, but oh no.. it'd be TNT :biggrin.gif:. I'd have a lever to activate it and people would go in to grief it.. steal from it.. look in the chest and find say some stone, then have a few other chests... then.... I press a button and KABLAM they crap theirselves :biggrin.gif:.
