posted a message on Making Peaceful More Interesting
Ive made this suggestion before and got alot of hate for it. Id love for a mode between peaceful and easy where you still have hunger and stuff but mobs dont hamper your mining and building.

posted a message on New Village types w/ different textures
I was thinking the same thing. Desert villages should be built out of sandstone. And every biome should have a village. They are too rare
Especially since I pretty much always start out in a swamp or a snow biome, finding a village is a pita!

posted a message on Sleeping villagers
Id like it if their houses spawned with furniture in them, and yes, if they would sleep at night it would be nice. Would make them seem less creepy and more normal

I think you should be able to make stairs and halfblocks out of EVERYTHING. Obsidian, gold, iron, lapis, etc.

posted a message on Round Worlds
    Quote from Vuce

I think minecraft maps are way too big as they are. Yeah it's nice to explore but once you've seen one minecraft mountain, valley, deep cave you seen em all so it's pointless opening up more map and use up more hard drive space just to see the same old stuff.

I love the idea of a round world. This was something that has been bought up in discussion with friends many times. This would cut down on huge map file sizes and reduce lag in some lower spec/home servers. I love the idea of also being able to set the size you want, perhaps in blocks. Also if worlds were round and not so huge you could have regions much like the real world. Snow and tundra biomes at the polls, moving down to forests and fields and then deserts and jungles at the equator.

Would also be interesting to have worlds that have no bedrock where you can tunnel from one side of the globe to the other. There would be a point where gravity flips. Just for fun mind. =D

Yes!! Love this! What kid in a sandbox hasnt wanted to dig through to china? LOL :D

    posted a message on Pier
I was thinking yesterday as I was exploring a new world and saw a cool little bay in a cove that it would be awesome for there to be fishing villages with docks and boats and fishing villagers

I think a saloon, or inn would be a nice addition, and a jail would be interesting too.

    posted a message on Seasons
Ive always liked the idea of seasons. It would make a bit extra challenge in survival mode if no crops would grow in winter, and no animals would spawn, so you had to spend time in summer and fall growing and harvesting things to survive through the winter. Would give the game a bit more of a point, I think.

posted a message on Giant Redwood Trees
I love this idea. I love to make treehouses and have tried to make big trees with logs to make my treehouses in, but I just cant make them look right. Id love to come across a tree that is already huge enough to hollow out and build a house inside of

posted a message on What do you think should be the main focus of 1.3?
Its good that they are doing all these fixes to the villager AI's and stuff, but I think they really need to fix the town generation so they are more flat instead of having houses buried or in a ravine or on a hill with a 6 block drop outside the door. And make towns spawn in more places than deserts and meadows. I guess if they dont want to fix it, they could at least make the villagers able to dig their own houses out of the sand HAHA

Can OP please update the original post to acknowledge that the transition was changed, so people don't keep posting with "Well this problem was fixed" when only half of it is fixed?

The transitions were messed with, I wouldnt say they were "fixed"

    Quote from Wiggycat314

Actually, to be honest, I don't think there is much of a difference between the 1.8 terrain and the 1.1 terrain. 1.8 is what started the current terrain generation.

There definantly werent this many holes in the ground when I first started playing. It seems like you cant take ten steps without falling in a hole nowdays, and it makes the terrain look really ugly
