as i say i know there are some that are dumb enough to moan that its killed thier world but they are in a minority. i have said it before we shouldnt be treated like we cant understand the difference between a release and a beta/alpha.

You would be pretty surprised to know they are NOT a minority heck they aren't below 50%, just because you see (Mostly) smart post in here doesn't mean the idiocy isn't around the corner waiting to be annoying.

Most of those, at best, will only make updating forge and MCP a little longer. The downtime from 1.2 to 1.3 will unlikely happen again anytime soon since mods had to be remade to be SMP due to the change of SSP becoming a local server SMP.

@Lordratt But what if people don't know how to make "Shakes"? And they can't take the time to know how to make that perfect "shake" they so desire in that moment so they go to their local "Shake Maker" to satiate that "Shake" craving. Sadly the "Shake" they got was not that perfect one they desire so they go with maker and complain or talk to them and see if they can make a "shake" more to their taste. Of course in the real world the words "The client its always true" comes to mind, sadly these words are a lot of bull and this is not the real world per se because those are only uttered to remind the staff to not angry the costumers otherwise their cash pigs could walk away without paying or worse. But even so they makers can still listen to their costumers and either try to cater to them all or not.

All in all, its a free internet (Copyright companies and stupid politicians can rot in hell for all i fudging care), so people are free to speak their minds (while respecting the common rules of course, in this case being the forum rules)

Considering time and effort of doing thing when using mods its a downhill mountain...

If you tell me (In a hypothetical scenario) Ic2 where to only have a single machine, the solar panel (and all of their necessary material) then i would agree that Time and effort for getting the materials for building it can become a total drag when you make too many of them (For example enough for a HV Solar Array) and the only method to get the materials are a Pickaxe and lots of blind digging.

But since this is not the hypothetical scenario, you have ic2 in all of its splendor, with Diamond Drills that never break and can mine stuff faster than a decently enchanted Diamond Pickaxe, some ore scanner to help you find where ores may be or just a handy miner that do all the boring stuff for you and you only need to move it 9 blocks in any direction when its done (With frames you many not even have to move yourself it at all!) and theres even the "Hog energy get materials" method with Mass Fabricator and any generator.

All in all, having a mod makes 90% (100% of fake statistic are made on the spot) of the "Time and effort" on tasks in Minecraft a "Downhill mountain" to the point where you don't even do anything anymore yourself. I love reducing the time i spend doing stuff like anybody, but making it 0 just way over the top (For me) and get boring fast, i mean having fun waiting while stuff just sort of make itself? LoL.

Edit:Oh and i agree this discussion gets old in here, you can always take it to the IC2 forum where it will not exactly be considered offtopic you know, this is the redpower thread after all.

Edit2: @above: Hey i have a novel idea for you: If you think its stupid/boring/annoying/W-e, Don't read it, and regardless of your sentiment, stop reading it if you don't like it and quit whining.

Stack could balance its power, so when you drain i.e. stack of 8 batteries, the stack will drain 8 times slower than one battery. And then you could just take 1 battery with same "consumption bar" as the stack had. But then again, it may do battery box useless, if there isn't proper max. stack count, like... 2? After all, doesn't make much sense stacking them, even thought it would be possible.

This could easily be broken and cause funky behaviour if you remove the stack or any item in the stack before it "register" the drain (Since you are making it run 8 times slower, it theoritically means it will stay in the same Damage value until the time passes).

Well-made if you want to use it as full package. If you disable something, it's not a surprised that things go wrong as she probably never tasted it as non-complete package (RP2 World, that is). Alternatively, just generate a world without RP2 at all, then install it afterwards. That should give you a volcano- and ore-free world, where you can spawn stuff in as desired.

Wrong, that only works for the chunks that were created BEFORE installing the world module. Chunks created AFTER the install may have volcanos and the like.

So portal seals acts as a Chunk loader block?

Also would you mind adding a seal that keeps the chunk its in loaded but without the teleport effect?

I wasn't, but I tried that as well, and it still doesn't work. And I tried without any other mods, and that doesn't work either.

People should stop saying "Shift clicking" or "Ctrl clicking", and should say "That key you have set up as crouch clicking". or at least i believe that is the key you need to keep pressed

Isn't it possible to make the bus transceiver and IO Expander to have colored dots instead of the red dots?

CPW can i bother you with a request?

Could you make it so when there is no space to open the chest the normal way, they become drawers? I mean instead of chest opening from the top, they open from the front just like a drawer.

    Its a four file installation:

TF Core goes into inside the minecraft jar (Like installing forge or modloader)
TF Texture same as core, goes into the jar
TF Game This goes into the Mods Folder.
Guava a code library need to use this mod, goes into the Mod Folder too.

(Adfly links to support to author, these download links are located in the second post of that thread)

I also may add that the mod uses a lot of Blocks ids (I counted like 40 or 50), so i suggest you play with this standalone if you don't want to bother changing ids so much.

Its mostly compatible with most forge mods, except for those that change the world generation (Redpower World Module mostly from what i gather)
