Raptr's main feature is its chat client where you can communicate in-game with other gamers, which Duxter, as far as I've read, doesn't have. I don't see anything unique that makes it a must choose between the two. Raptr, even though it's good, still isn't as popular as Xfire. How is this Duxter supposed to compete if it has nothing unique? You can clarify whether I'm missing anything or not, but I definitely won't be looking forward to this.
There's already a gaming social network that promises the same things: www.pwned.com

Try Eureka, such a unique show. I believe it's the most watched show on the Scy Fy channel next to Doctor Who.
I second this. If you like Sci-Fi, this is a must watch show.

oh yeah then put guns and nukes and cars in!
no minecraft is you alone in a world where you explore and survive, planes make it too easy.
Really? You're in a world alone, but you have all of the materials at your grasp to make modern day equipment. Why not have planes? They're not much older than railroads.
Having planes would make it too easy only if you're cheating. They could be hard to craft. In the end, easy traveling would be an ultimate reward for your hard work. You could have it so flying the plane is costly and only if you've mined a lot that you could actually fly it. Like having it cost 1 stack of coal in order to fill the gas tank up.
In my opinion, it's a good idea, but would never really be implemented.
Jun 14, 2012That looks pretty good. I don't really like the part where it says "players currently playing Minecraft" etc. It seems too big and misplaced. Seems like it should be above the video, but that's just me.Posted in: Discussion
Also, the original Minecraft site is sort of a dark theme, when this one is bright and vibrant. The dark theme is pretty easy on the eyes imo, but there's always room for improvements.
Maybe you can have a theme switcher that switches the theme from yours to a darker version. It could have the dirt replaced with a darker block like obsidian or bedrock and the sky could be darker or night themed.

How did you hear of Super-Earth?: I checked a few "top minecraft servers" sites and this server interested me the most.
Nov 9, 2011Then you would have to have space suits and would have to find ways to obtain oxygen and so on. It's a nice idea, but the focus should be geared towards Earth for now imo. Maybe once Minecraft gets out of beta that could be a nice expansion pack.Posted in: Suggestions
Oct 16, 2011I don't really like the idea of having tools to find dungeons and strongholds. That takes the fun out of exploring and trying to find them yourselves. Maybe if it were nerfed down, like if it were a tool where if you right clicked it, it places a premade arrow on the ground in front of you pointing in the general direction of the nearest dungeon/stronghold (diff tools for stronghold and dungeon). I don't know, just my two cents.Posted in: Suggestions
