I've been messing around with this, and I must say it's an amazingly done mod!
Here are a few things I've noticed, though...
1. The size. I'm sure you've been told about this, but I'll say it anyways. The robots that turn into cars are smaller than the people that would normally ride in them. Yeah.
2. The weapons do need a bit of work, since they feel a bit...Disappointing, sadly.
3. What are the vehicles that you can equip even for? I sure as heck can't figure it out.
What you want to help with: Beta-Testing, Texturing, Modeling
Previous experiences: I briefly modeled for the DWCM, but my models weren't used due to certain reasons. I also did some weapon sprites for the Homestuck mod. If you want some images of my work, specifically textures and tablet art, keep on reading. I also create DooM maps, and I'm a graphic artist.
What sets you apart from other modders: I guess, not a lot. I'm an ordinary person, who likes to model and do texturing.
Examples of work:
Do you have a github: No.
Can you debug: Depends on what I'm debugging. I can't do anything TOO complex.
A mod similar to the Mega Man Battle Network series would be pretty cool. I have the concept worked out, for the most part.
You have a block, like a computer or something. A single, hopefully modeled, laptop of sorts.
You also have the PET/Item to enter the computer.
The computer would work like this.
You right click it with your hand, and you can choose a network you want to go to.
For example, you right click it and a GUI comes up with options for different networks.
Then, you would bring out your PET, and right click the computer with it. This would take you to the network of your choosing.
Now, here comes the hard and maybe optional part.
NetNavis.
I'm thinking a GUI, opened by right clicking with the PET, where you can take the Steve model, and resize parts of it. You could also use an in-game skin editor, or just have a folder for skins for your Navi, and then choose stats. Not entirely sure how attacks or chips would work, though.
Maybe use keybinds to activate certain chips, or to use attacks that you can customize. I'm thinking, personally, something like this:
You open the GUI for attacks. You choose a particle effect, choose if it's a projectile, melee, or stat booster, specify from a list of choices what the attack does, and apply it to the Navi.
So after you make your NetNavi and get that all sorted out, you go to the computer, right click, and POOF!
You're in the network AS a Navi.
Now, if someone DOES decide to make this mod, feel free to edit, add to, or remove certain concepts. I understand if no one DOES want to make this, though.

Downloads not working. Is there a fix on the way?

Beed, I SWEAR I've seen you before.
Do you by any chance play MM8BDM?

Hey. Um, I have a few questions/suggestions.
1. Will you be implementing a story mode?
2. Perhaps add another armor slot for shields
3. Obviously a few more mobs, but I was thinking, more specifically, Armos and Beamos.
4. Maybe add a few hidden underground structures to find, similar to the original LoZ overworld
This is an amazing mod, and I hope my suggestions help make it an even more immersive experience.

But, this once, I will humour you.
In the mod files, just find the textures for the mobs, find the companion, and retexture it. Simple.
But if you want to name it, use a name tag.

You can delete morphs, though.
BUT.
I am looking forward to a 1.7 release!
Keep up the good work!

ALSO.
Will ChimneySwift be added?
And will you be making heads from more mods as well?

It would be REALLY hard.
Anyways, thanks for reading!

Besides, there's already a Homestuck mod.

But until then, just forget I asked.

Could be a bit difficult, but still.
