With all of these new Pokemon revealed, and all of the type tweaks, what will your team be for X and Y?

I normally wait until the games are released, but if I had to choose now:

Frogadier
Talonflame
Orotto
Amaura
Sylveon
Pangoro

The Sharpedo comes up again, attempting to attack Amber on the other half of the raft. As much as I want to help them, they're pretty far away, and I might hit Amber or Monica if I try to attack it from here. Thankfully, Monica manages to knock it out, and it slowly drifts back down into the ocean.

The other half of the raft floats away from us, bringing Amber, Monica, and Sam with it. "Keep going north! One of the patrols will find you and bring you to the village!" I yell to them, hoping they would hear me. Eventually, they get too far for us to see them. I then look at Matt. "What do you think caused that Sharpedo to attack us?"

He sighs, looking down. "I'm ashamed to admit it, but I don't know. This ocean isn't a mystery dungeon, as you can clearly tell." He gestures towards a small group of Frillish swimming beside us, not attacking us. "At least not yet, anyway."

"I just hope we all get there safely." I say, looking down into the water.

The raft shakes violently, and I instantly wake up. I assume that we crashed into something, but after looking around, I realize there's nothing to crash into. "What was that?" I ask the others, who are looking around frantically trying to figure out what hit us.

"We may have hit a shallow spot in the water." Matt says, looking over the side of the raft.

Amber looks as well, and jumps back. "Mmmph mmph mmmmph!"

The raft shakes again, almost flipping over this time. Sam laughs silently at us while we struggle to stay on the raft, while he's chained to it. "Having fun?" He says. "I could do this all day."

The raft is hit again, and it splits in half this time. The smile instantly dissapears from his face as a Sharpedo emerges from the space between the two rafts. We all get as far away as possible, but Sam is unable to, so the Sharpedo goes for him. Monica uses Air Cutter, knocking it back into the water.

I turn to the Carracosta pulling the raft. "Thanks for the help." I say sarcastically, but then I realize the raft isn't moving. I go over to him, and see that he's knocked out. "That's just great. Help me pull him up."

With the help of Matt's telekinesis, I pull the Carracosta out of the water and onto the raft.

"He's coming back." I hear Monica say from the other half of the raft, which is now slowly drifting away.

I close my eyes for about 15 seconds before Monica comes back, soaking wet. "It's confirmed. He doesn't have blue eyes like you do."

"Why are you..."

"Oh, that? He barrel rolled when I perched on his head to get a look at his eyes." She then notices that I'm trying to get some rest. "Sorry. I'll leave you alone now."

As she flies over to the front of the raft, another argument breaks out between Matt and Amber.d

"The Carracosta needs to rest at some point, so two of us will need to stay awake and row."

"Mmph mmph mmph mmph mmmph mmmph mmph mmph."

"Not all night. You and I can row for half of the night, then Nate and Monica will take over."

"Mmph. Mmph mmph mmmph mmph mmph mmmmph, mmph mmph mmph."

"I'm slightly offended, but have it your way. Monica and I will go first, then you and Nate will take over."

They're suddenly interrupted by the Carracosta. "I can handle it. None of you will be rowing."

I close my eyes once again, hoping Matt and Amber don't find something else to argue about.

I head over to the front of the raft, where the Carracosta continues to pull us. "You're taking us to Glacier Village, aren't you?" I say to him.

"That is correct. Your father wishes to speak with you."

"How much longer until we get there?"

"We will not arrive until tommorrow. I wouldn't recommend distracting me, or it may take even longer."

I go back to where the others are, and see that Matt and Amber have started arguing again. I sigh, laying my head on the ground. Monica flies over to me, and perches on my shell. "So, we're going to the town you grew up in?"

"I wouldn't really call it a 'town'. There's only a few hundred Pokemon living there." I say. "This is the first time we've had outsiders visit in hundreds of years, so don't be surprised if you get wierd looks from everyone."

"Do they all look like you?"

I nod. "Every single one. The only thing most of them don't have is the blue eyes. Only the descendents of the leader have the blue eyes."

"Really?" She says. "I'll be right back."

She flies over to the Carracosta pulling the raft, and I lie down and close my eyes. After everything that happened back on Mt. Snowhere, I'm exhausted.

"Mmph mmph mmmph?"

"It's miles away. We won't get there until tommorrow morning at the very least."

"Mmph mmph."

"I know it's cold, but you've got every scarf we have wrapped around you. That's as warm as you'll get."

"Mmph mmph mmph mmph ***** mmmph!"

"There is no need for that kind of language. We aren't going back anytime soon, and no amount of swearing will change that."

I lie there, listening to Matt and Amber arguing. I open my eyes, and see them sitting in front of me, with Amber wrapped in so many scarves I could only see the flame on her head. I then hear Monica's voice above me. "Nate! You're awake!"

Matt and Amber turn around, looking at me. "That means Sam must be awakening as well." Matt says. "Make sure the chains are secure."

I hear the sound of chains rattling, and then I hear Sam's voice. "The chains are tight enough. I can't move."

"I'm afraid I can't take your word for it." Matt says, glaring at Sam. "You're a traitor, and therefore can't be trusted."

I take a moment to look at my surroundings. We appear to be to be on a small raft drifting through the water. Amber's sitting near me, shivering despite being completely covered in scarves, Matt's confronting Sam, who has multiple chains holding him down, and Monica flies above us. I then notice that the raft is being pulled through the water by a Carracosta with an icy blue shell. That could only mean one thing: my dad sent him to bring us back to Glacier Village.

I wait until Crusher and Archer are both looking the other way, giving us the opportunity to strike. "Now." I say quietly, watching as Archer gets hit by Frost Breath, then Flame Burst. Crusher is hit by the bursting flame and as he turns to defend his teammate, Matt goes in and hits him with Psyshock. I look around the camp, waiting for Sam, and I see him coming out of one of the tents. I charge at him, but he goes in the opposite direction, and unfortunately, he's a lot faster than I am.

"Nate, look out!" I hear Matt yell. I look back to see Crusher charging at me, and despite my efforts to move out of the way, he's still able to pin me on the ground. Matt uses Psyshock again, and Crusher falls on the ground, allowing me to free myself and continue pursuing Sam, who is already sliding down the other side of the mountain. I then feel a sharp pain in my back as Crusher's girder slams down on my shell. I hear Sam scream in pain, and I assume the exact same thing happened to him. Matt uses Psyshock on Crusher one last time, and he falls on the ground next to me, knocked out.

"Are you all right?" Matt says, moving closer.

Amber and Monica approach me as well, and Amber gasps upon seeing me. "Th-That'll heal, r-right?" She asks, turning to Matt.

"I certainly hope so." He says. "We need to take him back to Allure. He won't survive long out here with an injury like that."

"I'm fine." I tell them, even though I'm in a lot of pain. "Stay here. I'm ending this." I pull myself towards the side of the mountain, and see Sam lying near the bottom.

"No, we're heading back to Allure Town. You're in no condition to..."

I start sliding down the edge of the mountain before Matt gets a chance to continue speaking. Sam looks up at me, and tries to move out of the way, but I still manage to hit him with Ice Shard as I reach the bottom. The momentum I got from sliding down the mountain makes me slide right past him after I land my attack, and I see him heading towards me as I skid to a stop. I prepare for an attack, but he loses consciousness just before he gets to me. I feel my strength fading away as well, and just before I lose consciousness as well, I feel myself being dragged across the ice by someone.

I lead the rest of my team over to the camp, where Crusher and Archer still sit near the fire. "They'll probably be too focused on the cold to notice someone sneaking up on them, so that's what we'll do." I say to them. "Just make sure you say quiet. I think Sam's in one of those tents."

"I-I'm not s-sure that's such a g-good idea, N-Nate." Amber says, shivering from the cold. "C-Crusher may be d-dumb as a brick, but Archer's m-much more alert and will p-probably see us."

"Alright." I say, thinking of a new plan. "Maybe you and Monica could go in first to distract Archer, then Matt could go in to attack Crusher. After Sam comes out, I'll go in and attack him."

"Not the best plan, but if it's executed correctly we do have a high chance of success." Matt says. "However, if Sam doesn't come out of the tents..."

"I'll go in and look for him if that happens." I say, interrupting Matt mid-sentence.

"Oh, alright. Just be careful."

We hide behind a large chunk of ice, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

I wouldn't call that a dream. I would call it a nightmare.

((Sorry for being gone for so long. Did I miss anything important?))

I had a Lairon with Pokerus in Emerald. I had no idea what Pokerus was at the time, so I thought it was going to die or something.

As we continue heading up the mountain, I notice that Amber's starting to shiver slightly. "Are you sure you'll be able to make it?" I ask her. "It might take a while for us to find Sam. For all we know, he could have retreated to the summit."

"I hope not." She says, looking at something above us. "What's that?"

I look up as well, and see some smoke rising up from a place ahead of us. "Stay here." I say to my teammates. "I'll be right back." I head towards the smoke, leaving the rest of my team behind. As I get closer, I peek around a corner, trying not to be seen.

The smoke was coming from a campfire with several tents around it. Crusher and Archer are sitting as close to the fire as possible, and I see that Archer evolved, and is now a Shiftry. Sam's nowhere to be seen, but I assume he's one of the tents, since he's used to the cold. I head back to the others, glad that they didn't see me.
