As for the fountain thing, i've already done this area, thanks to the quest book (not the customnpc's quest line)
Edit: I almost forgot. I have found a bug where if you get struck with hunger by anything (including the rottenflesh), the screen lights up more, (it looks like one of those videos in youtube with bad lighting) even more than the nightvision does.
I seem to get this a lot from "bosses" (not the customnpcs ones) that spawn from the spawners (in my case, Rougelikedungeons).
Update to the problem i've been having with not recieving the items. I get a new line of dialogue. Still no items though. I have checked my quests and i have none. (i could store some items away in a chest and get the new ones, so not a problem there) Perhaps you are right. I might check it out.
the other line is "long have i been...", i get that i might have to recieve a quest first then go to him during/when it's done.
Edit2: Hmm it seems everytime i get back into it, i discover a bug...or a problem.
This one might be the reason it's broken for me. You see, i just recieved the main quest...(i have to do it again in customnpc quest, so whatever) But everytime i click on my quests tab, it switches to my inventory tab, in a quick second. This might be the reason i can't play the game properly and might have to remember what quests i got given. What does it say before it goes back to my inventory? "You have no active quests"
Unfortunately i have no idea to access the other quest (I'm guessing it is the custom npcs quests, as it makes sense). In the first map, is there a npc that tells you what to do for there? I guess i'll start searching for this supposed one.

I am currently playing the modpack. As of now, i have been having one particular issue with one quest, where you have to recieve a key and something from draconis from a NPC. However, when i interact with it, it only says "I've been waiting for you, [name]". The Npc repeats that as soon as i right click him again. Am i missing something?
Also, one more thing. Say you want to start a new survival world with this mp. You can, but you won't expect to see a certain block there. You see, some of the biome's dirt (under the grass), you will see, instead of dirt, "Rohiric Crafting Table" (s) everywhere. Even in places like swamps you could see these blocks under the water.
I do not know if there is an update for this already, but i seem to have missed it.
Gotta wait for it, there's a lot of vanilla things in 1.8 that the dev(s) can use in this mod, (not all will be chosen in this mod tho) and that's gonna be a long time...
speaking of which, when would be an estimated time anyway?
I've not come across the rooms with stained clay before,but have you checked under the throne for a chest room/another gateway? If you have not, there's an idea for you. (If not, try looking under the tables and the other chairs, feeling a suspicion there's a chest room there)
Meanwhile, i just came up for an idea for another type of mob.
(This is probably a horrible mob idea, but here goes)
Spawn Monolith: Green eyes, same pattern as the other one, once you trigger its eye, however, you get sent straight to the first dimension you entered from the overworld/end/nether.
Advantages: You can use it to get back to overworld without going back all the way. And avoiding any red eyed monoliths.
Disadvantages: you'd have to remember how to get back to that room through memory, or trial and error.
Also, you'd have to avoid it if you wanted to get from the end/nether to the overworld (from being lost in that particular dimension).

Yep. Sure it's diamond water, but there's a bit of muck in there too. When you arrive tho, gotta expect that there is a chance that you might be in the air once you look around, like a gateway stuck on some trees (Including the big ones. Might be wrong, if they have fixed that).
It's the mystery symbol in the lake again. I hit that too.
Minus the "wip" thingybob, i can't see it in the vid....wonder where the rune (Well them mystery symbolslook like runes to me) block in creative is...
(I bet it's gonna be an underground room thing, where you rightclick a rune and a mystery trapdoor appears with a ladder down....i dunno, just throwing my ideas out there)
If this is a good idea to the dev, add like a secret room you can find by breaking certain blocks (slightly cracked but hard to tell) in the labyrinth (well really, around the labyrinths border), and if possible, make a yellow medusa. I've already seen green and purple medusas in other games too many times. If you want some more feedback about the room: add like another area with these cracked bricks, the area has some loot in it. Maybe this "throne/nest" has the hidden area, who knows. Or maybe use an existing block, instead of these cracked bricks you can't pick up when you mine them.

The glitches are mostly from a non-finished 1.7 port, except for going deeper than 10 layers, which is supposed to be weird.

There's also one more thing. You can transport to places, for example nether, one door for each dimension. It's actually pretty neat. (I remember me finding a door in the nether taking me to the overworld, it was a dungeon door tho) It would be pretty hilarious to see a person get from earth to the moon using these doors.
I think i even used runic dungeons before. There are less secret areas in that mod than this one, if i remember.
Edit: i did. It doesn't mean i don't like it tho. I like all dungeon mods
