Spite and sarcasm aside, I'd just like to say that I have the same problem. I made absolutely sure that my graphics drivers and Java were both updated, yet I still can't play Minecraft. I'm sure that in the very near future the problem will be sorted out, but for now, I'm still confused on why I can't open Minecraft.
I prefer working as a team in Minecraft in order to survive. When I get together with players online it just feels good to work together and build a town or go exploring together. When I walk up on another player's "territory", searching for shelter or food, and they totally destroy my character, I tend to get annoyed.
Also, PvP itself does not have the physical, and therefore mental, prerequisites, such as a physical embodiment and/or brain, to be considered "dumb". But, I agree, I hate PvP as it is now!
Just come up with something unique -- something that's personal to you. I agree that Boom Boom Pow may not be the most creative username, but if you really liked it as a quote, or you liked the song, then there would be no need to change.
Becoming bored with Survival mode, or any game mode for that matter, is like becoming bored of Minecraft. There are nearly endless possibilities in this game, yet some people are shortsighted.
Creative thinking like in the above post is the kind that belongs in Minecraft. It's always good to have a plan for the future so that you never get bored.
The cat is the cutest mob. It's basically a translation of a real life cat. Cats are cute in real life, so are they in Minecraft. Their kittens just make the cat mob even more cute .
I love CREPERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssssssssssss
Yeah, I can tell. You really take this whole Creeper persona seriously.
I regard chickens as a link in the Minecraft life cycle. They provide food, feathers, and company in the lonely world of Minecraft. Sure, they can seem evil at times, but I fear no evil. If the chickens do decide to rise up against the human population, then I will take a stand. Until then, I respect them and treat them, as a population, fairly.
I really liked the Halloween update; the one that added the Nether.
At first, I was afraid of the update. One implement was going to be that the farther down in the world you traveled, the more torches one would need to keep safe from the mobs. I also feared Herobrine would actually be programmed into the game as a new mob or something. Of course, none of this happened, but this was the one update that had me waiting and got me excited for the release date. I was anxious to see what had been changed when I logged in.
The Nether was a new idea at the time. I had only watched videos on Youtube of the realm, and even then it looked scary. I liked that. I wanted to, one day, make it to the Nether.
This update was also one of the updates in the early stages of Minecraft. It kinda brought back those fond memories of a year ago .
In my honest opinion, I think XP farms are a dumb idea. To me, it's like boosting on first-person shooters. It's a quick and boring way of gaining XP.
Even so, game developers should be able to make us play how they want. Like many others have stated, in Minecraft, you don't have to play along the beaten path. It's always more fun to find your own way, and not do what other people are doing.

Seriously, though, this was my favorite update.

How's that working out for you?
I'll give this a try sometime. Right now I can't connect.
