    Thank you, I decided to update my cubic chunks world to 1.8.1 to take advantage of the terrain modifications, but couldn't get started due to lack of modloader.

    Okay, I'm positive I'm not being a derp, checked the old versions repository on mediafire but couldn't find a 1.8.1 version, found the javadocs for it though. Is it missing, did I miss it, or am I supposed to use another version for 1.8.1?

    Annoyed that I had to google site:http://www.minecraftforum.net extrabiomesXL "Metallurgy 2 [2.2.2 - 10/24/2012]" just to find wether or not someone asked if extrabiomesXL works with Metallurgy. Stupid broken search. But anyway, now that I know it's compatible I look forward to using them together now that they're both 1.4.2! Thanks for the fast update Shadowclaimer.

    Doubtful, that map works by looking at what blocks are in the surface of the chunk section it's drawing, then assigning a color based on the most prevalent block. You can make pixel art with it, but it's time consuming. This video explains maps quite well.
    Minecraft's maps actually look at a 2x2 space now, instead of the old 8x8.

    I work in Adobe Photoshop CS5.5 when I create these textures. I personally recommend it if you seek an powerful program that handles graphical work quite well. It's not a free program like GIMP, though.

    Regarding the re-sizing, I just automatically re-size the the textures from 512x512. The true original R3D.CRAFT is 512x512.

    Good to hear. I actually have CS5 at home, I just never use it because I can't get used to the interface. Its hard to switch from Gimp. XD
    Still, I'm amazed that so much detail is maintained when you resize... I guess starting out in 512 really does make all the difference.

    Oh, and Tiger: check out the trading GUI, it seems just a little bit funky. I'll post a screenshot once I've got everything set up, public computers mean I have to keep everything I need in storage and then download it every day.

    Awesome, still wondering what Tiger (waitaminute did I read something that led me to believe that that was their handle or something? Why am I calling the author that? I hate my memory.) works in. I believe I saw Paint.net in his speed draw, but I'm not sure... I can't get used to that interface. Sheer curiosity now, I'll work in lower res if I need to, but it's hard to find stock that works with lower resolutiions. Out of time for today so I guess I'll get started tomorrow... up-sizing takes way too much time.

    Well normally it's the short cut for Copy. Perhaps it's an attempt at calling Tiger a copy-cat? ...maybe they want to copy it? Who knows. The post does not have enough content to merit a response. It needs context for it to be a relevant statement.

    A few questions Tiger:
    When you res down your textures what do you use? I've experimented with extreme res a few times, but as soon as I attempted to res down to smaller sizes it just comes out... unsatisfactory to say the least. (I mainly work in Gimp.)You don't do each resolution manually do you? That would be insane. (small touchups per res I can understand)

    I don't suppose you have anything against private modifications/additions for personal use? I'm extremely OCD about some things, and seeing those IC2 ores not matching the stone is driving me nuts, so I'd like to work on some personal addons for the texture pack. Do I need to ask you before starting, or do I just need to ask if I'm planning on releasing them as unofficial addons?

    But yeah, the resizing thing is killing me because I can't run 256, let alone 512. If I'm going to work in x-HD and then resize down to test, I don't want to have a bunch of ick to deal with at lower resolutions. Beast job by the way, looks beautiful, very pleasing to the eyes. Been using it for about 2 weeks, and loving it.

    adding onto what SledgeDG said, on some computers you'll need to adjust the GUI Scale, Auto makes it larger than Large in full-screen (at least on my computer.) try adjusting the GUI size, then doing what Sledge said if it doesn't work. (Options -> Video Settings ->GUI Scale)

I think I'll have to uninstall the crops for now, it's doing it on other plants where i know i haven't planted grapes on so it could be that it happens when a grape plant exists, makes no sense to me but what the heck do I know. Unfortunately I was saying that animal feed figuratively in regards to the horsey-ness, i doubt that there's a horse mod out there that just lets you feed your horse random gibbets of food as long as it's edible. Hmm... would still be nice to have access to an alternative food source for animals, but the exact point would be almost moot if you made it act just like wheat. A slightly good idea for an alternative use for bamboo, but not inherently necessary. Back to the drawing board I suppose.

    Yeah I noticed it was just that one block, i had another grape doing just fine that i had just harvested... got it again on another one in a new world, i died so it got deleted. :S Doing a bit better this time, i've got tons of cooked ham. :D

    Well it's Touhou, so it's more Bullet Hell parody-ish, but meh. They probably have gotten an anime parody at one point, but for the most part they received lots and lots of cameos or indirect character parodies.

    When these get handed off to someone else, are they going to remain open-source? Inficraft and related mods are a valuable learning platform, I'd be sad to see them become bricked up.

    Also, I'm back Diyo! I'll be stuck with webchat for a while, using public computers to get by right now(Universities are AWESOME.). Been trapped without a computer for the last month and a half. Then again I should probably wait until I have a computer before I get back into the IRC realm.I wonder if I'm still voiced... wait i probably lost my NICK! D:
