I hate to do this, but I think I will be discontinuing this project. This past week I had some time to think and I came to this decision. I restarted this project in order to make good on my original promise with the hope that my interest in YuGiOh and minecraft would come back. Unfortunately it has not and these past 3 weeks it has been getting harder to become motivated with the project. I apologize for how sudden this news is coming but the best thing to do would be to move to the other YuGiOh server that came up during this ones development. I wish you all good luck finding what you are looking for and while I can't make any promises on whether or not I will be checking back or coming back to Minecraft and this forum if I do I will try to answer anything I can!
Is the entire reason because you are simply not interested in minecraft and YGO anymore, or do you really think that the 141 pages, half discussions between frequently-checking members (me, person, zombie, etc.) and the other half people, whether it be alpha testing requests or not, showing genuine interest in this server, is not enough to motivate all of us, including yourself? Because it would certainly motivate me to know that there are tons of people who would love for me to combine the games they love in one open world concept. I mean, look at the post above you - "The second servers ar[e] possibil[e] to join i will Join and get Started fast." But, I'm not you, so who knows, maybe it's different.
I'm surprised. It's been so long and we were finally getting somewhere nearing testing dates, and now this. Even if your not interested in minecraft/YGO anymore, who wants to say they've worked on this for literally four years and then stopped? Forgetting that they may have learnt some java or whatever along the way, that's as good as saying this was a complete waste of four years to revolutionize something. Who would want to just give up on this after so long? I understand, if you really just don't like minecraft/YGO anymore, then you won't have as much passion and motivation, but let us be your passion! I don't want to simply move on to this other YuGiOh server whose community I'm not familiar with, which I haven't been very involved in, and which I simply don't feel in place because I've been sticking with this one here. I, and a million other people who have at one point posted about their interest in this project, will make it worth your time if you truly loathe minecraft/YGO.
I apologize if this came out blunt or rash, but I need to convey this in the clearest way possible. I conclude with this: please just reconsider.
Honestly, doing the alpha after new years would probably be best I just didn't want to push off the release date much more. With January 3rd as our starting date for the alpha we would be good for a first week of February possibly even earlier. If that sounds good to most people we could lock down the date of the alpha.
For me, the best area where I am available for testing (that is IF I do get in for testing) would be the week of the 28th, but obviously we should do what's best for everyone else, as well as yourself because you're running the damn thing lol.
This may have been already mentioned. Not sure. We could use turbo duels by having people buy a motorcycle (and customize it!). This would allow others to use speed counters and things like that. Even though it's 5ds era, it sounds like it could be something good.
Wow I like the new trunk (sorry for saying this lately but our wifi was fcked up for 2 weeks)
But here's a question what does low effecdt cards mean?
Are cards sorted by how powerful their effect is because that would be pretty hard to keep track of.
How powerful card effects are is a really subjective question, so they are probably not sorted that way. The potential of card effects depend on the environment surrounding them.
Looks great. The only potential problem I see here is having those monsters with lengthy effects, so long that the words might actually not fit on the screen. I know this happens for error messages when trying to run a server. Is it possible that it will happen for here, too?
These look awesome! The table is fine at 14x14, it looks quite a bit nicer now. Could you identify the last two items in your inventory in the second picture? The last one looks like a deck, but I'm not sure. Also, thank you for removing those polls. They were getting super annoying because they would take a while to load, and wouldn't let me click any buttons.
I recorded a video talking about the thread and put a link for it in the description, so hopefully we get a few more people soon
Ooo can we see it?
Also, the tables and boards look much better, now that they are placed in between two well-designed armchairs. Looking good!
I think it needs to be a tad bit bigger, because it looks so small compared to average board, even in real life. If you make it bigger, won't you have more blocks to work with and put in more detail?

You're on combatborn's server, not this one. I happen to play on that one, too.

There is none. The server's been discontinued.

Think it's safe to say the entire Yu Gi Oh minecraft franchise is on you now.

I really really really doubt that Chug quit without telling us again, so don't worry!

Just an update: I'm still here and looking at the thread for any ideas to give. Unfortunately. I've been low on time because of junior year.
Pictures are looking great, especially the trunk visuals! We're almost there!

Pictures and GUI look great!

That was my question. It's great to wager, but what if we just want to test decks by dueling against people, or simply duel just for fun?

Currently, we are not up yet, but we are in the making. Keep an eye on this thread, and we'll let you know when the server is up.
