Didn't we just get a new launcher, like a year ago?

They released it with a terrible contraption-killing redstone bug. I'm sorry, but that makes me really upset.
I'm sure they just want a 1.11.1 for the number, so the next update will be the one to play. -

Well obviously some physics are a bit different in MC, brittle things don't exist - obsidian is extremely tough just because it's hard. -

This is cool, but dying the skulker boxes doesnt work.
Also for some reason you cant controll where to ride with the llame,so it is like riding a pig without a carrot on a stick
(I have a carpet on them)
Did you tame the llama first? -

omg llamasllamasllamasllamasllamasllamasllamasllamasllamas (sorry for the spam XDD)
I hope you can wear shulker shells on your head ;~: XD
The woodland mansions kinda look like they are from a mod XDDD
When I saw the shulker shell, I was wondering if he will put it on his head, it just looks so perfect. -

Curse of binding only works on armour, not held items. -

I understand Mansions as a new type of dungeons (dungeon in the RPG sense, not MC dungeon) with its own mobs & mechanics.
The Totem of Undying seems to be the primary incentive to venture in this new structure. The description do not say if it is consumed when used. If not, I'm afraid Mansions will become irrelevant once the first Evoker has been killed.
I hope the return portals do not spawn too much. It was funny having to keep track of position in such a weird place. If anything I would have made the return portal an objective and we would have something to achieve hard in order to get back, making The End a "stranded" setting at first. Maybe not exactly that but at least something new and challenging.
What exactly do Llamas bring to the world ? They are donkeys that spit on wolves and form lines. What's the point of donkeys then ? It does not feel a good, distinct creature to me. Just like bunnies. Because a bunch of children ask for a mob should not be enough to add a creature, gameplay should be a priority. Jeb and his team are wasting time and money.
They are consumed single use items that have to be held in either hand to work, otherwise it would be way too good.
I think the return portals are quite rare, but you are bound to stumble across one eventually so you aren't stuck in there permanently.
Llamas are more for luxurious travel or to transport large amounts of stuff over safe terrain usung caravans,
Donkeys are more mobile and have twice the inventory space if given a chest, so they are better for exploration and bringing loot back home.
Also protection against wolves if you have a farm i guess? I never had wolf problems, usually the other way around, so i don't know.
But anyway they are another wild crerature and it adds passive mob diversity to the game, since there's only pigs, cows, sheep, chickens and rabbits. -

Ummm it wont have the same magnitude as the 1.10 update? 1.10 only added like 2 features so i hope its better than that. I think you meant the 1.9 update.
1.11-13 will be minor updates, 1.14 will be a big one. -

It's true, though until 1.11 they kinda regrow them if you restart the server or something.
Fun fact, the variable for pumpkinlessness is "IsDerp = true" -

Can’t eat, throw, or shoot while looking at an Iron Door/Iron Trapdoor
This will break auto-fishing farms, most probably.

Exploring to find a weird spawned formation, then excavate it into a house.
That and writing a 99(current size) page word file of ideas for a mod that someone said he would code for me when he has the time.

A pre-release already? That... doesn't seem right. This was a fairly quick update!
While it is quite light for a X.0.0 update, I think we have just been spoiled by 1.8 and 1.9 - To post a comment, please login.

I personally put the infusion altar on the roof because of it's size (also it makes a nice roof decoration) and an infernal furnace on the bottom floor with a hole in the ceiling above it so i can throw in ores from the first floor.
3
I always assumed it was a sort of "seed crystal" and that in the cauldron it starts to assimilate the essentias into more of itself untill it grows into an ingot-size.

Even in darkness a black shadow often stands out
6
My guess is that giving void metal a mirror finish will make it very nice looking and basically make it impossible to sneak anywhere because enemies will see you from miles away

I think we have enough holes in reality, but i imagine something similar to introducing a primordial pearl to node

Due to minecraft physics instead of materials having a hardness and toughness, they have mineability and blast resistance, so anything that is hard (like diamonds and obsidian) is automatically also tough, making it an ideal material for tools and don't shatter under stress like on earth (as you can notice you can smith diamonds on an anvil).
0
I assume there will be, but it will probably only affect the efficiency of them (they would draw less vis when used).
Though maybe a "potency +1" gauntlet could be interesting too, but we already can modify the foci in that regard.
I can assure you that in any case people will add cosmetic variants of them in addons,
0
So I assume, but does it mean it is a different world, or did some thaumaturge discover secrets that were so deep in the core of thaumaturgical physics that his meddling broke magic and it turned into the system we have now, or did the nodes just slowly start to unravel, leaking vis into the envioronment over time, turning themselves intangible in the process?
0
Makes sense, but weren't nodes tangible in TC4?
What kind of event would cause nodes to suddenly become tangible for an era, making node attractors temporarily bested by glass jars?
Also why will we soon enter an era of node scarcity where nodes no longer just grow on trees (from what I heard)?
Maybe the monks of balance went around sealing off holes in spacetime and ended up also sealing up most of the nodes?
Or maybe some mad thaumaturge decided it would be fun to invent a better node atractor, ended up sucking up 90% of the nodes in the world into a transdimensional singularity which promptly imploded his house into some other dimension?

I always thought that since you learn how to open the portal, you know a bit more than them, so it's probably not about knowing less than them and that they are just elitist jerks who want to keep the secrets for themselves.
Though I'm not sure how they can tell you aren't one of them when you are wearing their armour, maybe they have a secret handshake?

Since you plant to reimplement the dim dungeons later, do you plan to use purely the already existing dungeons, going to add some dungeons you made yourself, or are you planning to ask the comunity to make some of their own and than implement the best ones?
1
If you mean for casting, they will be replaced entirely, afaik.
Though maybe they could be kept as some kind of vis storage thingie? They always remined me of a really long D batteries.

Yeah, rewinding time in an area would be really laggy, so if we are erasing past a personal zone would be a way to go (would be cool if it turned it back exactly as it was, not just location wise).
Don't get me started on freezing time though, there are so many possible ways to implement it and I have a long list of ideas:
-freeze everything in an area (not very usefull)
-freeze everything but yourself in an area (usefull for getting away)
-same, but frozen things can still take damage (probably too usefull)
-same, but things only take damage when they are unfrozen (realistic but dificult to implement)
-same, but things retain their velocity after they are unfrozen (ditto, could allow to stack arros in midair, jojo style)
-freeze everything but yourself including air, so air is either thick as a liquid or solid and you have to break it to move (realistic but kinda pointless if it's only for 5 seconds)
-freeze time in an area around you that moves with you, would allow you to walk on liquids, fire, etc. (really cool, but might lag, would probably extend over 5 seconds)
-freeze a single mob in place (would make sense that damage is stacked once it unfreezes, a more combat oriented focus)
-create a wall of solid air for a few seconds (a more niesh tool, but would be cheaper)
etc.

I mean it is possible to just have an "undo the last 5 seconds in the area around you", so you don't mess up what other people were doing.
I mean it sounds op, but you obviously can't cast it if you died and also how often did you burn in lava for more than 5 seconds before remembering you have a water bucket on you?
Also would be perfect for testing traps, walk into one than time delete.
0
Time delete by definition would be to delete time, either the future (you become intangible for a short time) or the past (undoes everything that happened int he last few seconds)
