Loving the mod so far in 1.10.2. I included this mod in my very hard SMP server-pack and i already had a couple of people ragequit the server because of this mod xD.
On another note, however, i was wondering if the day hostile mobs can be prevented with torches? Or, is building on top of a mountain forever deadly? Basically curious if i build a closed yard area with torches, for example, will they still spawn inside the yard(day hostiles)? Thanks!
Note: This is a hard server pack. Frequent deaths will probably happen. Rage quits may happen as well.

To achieve this we use mods such as Rough Mobs, Special AI, Zombie Awareness, Bloodmoon, Lycanite Mobs, Grimoire of Gaia, and many others. We encourage the use of TInker's Construct tools by nerfing pre-diamond tools. We have adjusted some recipes, but what all needs to be adjusted is very much a work-in-progress. We have a handful of tech-type mods such as EnderIO, Applied Energistics 2, Actually Additions, Extra Utilities 2, Refined Storage, Immersive Engineering for those interested in tech. We have a few magic mods such as Bloodmagic, Botania, Roots for those interested in magic.
The overall play style we encourage is exploring on your own, or with your friends, and building your own base away from spawn. We are looking for testers as I just finished setting things up for "Alpha." Frequent tweaks, mod additions, mod removals, will continue throughout this phase as this experience is very much a work-in-progress. We plan to be a small server with only a few people on at a time. I'm using the MC Daily Repeatable Quest option and am having trouble recycling dialogue. Anybody figure out how to make dialogue available only when the quest is also available for accepting? I am able to configure the daily quest, and have a proper dialogue for the first time encounter. But I am unable to figure out the "Day 1; Post-Completion" to reset to "Day 2" portion of the following example:
For example:
Quest is configured for MC Daily Repeatable
Day 1
NPC: Hello
Me: Do you have any quests?
NPC: Kill 3 bats
Me: Accept & Complete
NPC: Good job, come back tomorrow.
Day 1 Post-Completion
NPC: Hello
Me: Do you have any quests?
NPC: Check again tomorrow
Day 2
NPC: Hello
Me: Do you have any quests?
NPC: Kill 3 bats

Loving the mod so far! Is it possible to adjust the GUI for armor/magic/void protection icons? When you use tinker's construct container hearts there is a noticeable gap between the hearts and the armor icons. Not sure if we can have like a minimalist GUI in the config or perhaps just compatibility with mods that add extra hearts (e.g., tinker's construct). Thanks for your time

Every NPC i make has a Bossbar, doesn't matter if i toggle the Bossbar option.

After troubleshooting my modpack and eliminating mods one by one. The culprit was the Arcana RPG mod. I think i'll just have to drop that mod for now. Hopefully this saves some troubleshooting for somebody else.
UPDATE: Arcana RPG mod author fixed this bug in mod version 1.6.2
My server just crashed when somebody else tried to login our multiplayer server. 1.7.10., I was online the server when it happened--server was running fine till they tried to join.

Thanks. I use 100 weight across all types for uniformity. You're right though, doesn't technically apply to watercreatures.
I was able to fix the issue by adjusting the Spawnrate value from creaturetype.cfg to 300. Compared my config to an example in the documentation and tried it out. Also, didn't realize how powerful JAS is once you look at the advanced features. Very cool!
Thank you. I redid my mod-pack with extra care, and it appears to be working now. I guess we can just chalk that up to "user error" xD.
EDIT: I was able to reproduce my original issue. When using Realistic Terrain Generation +Biometweaker with this mod, the world won't create. You can get to the main menu, but creating a new world with world type Realistic will just send you straight to the main menu.
UPDATE: Got rid of Biometweaker, swapped it for Climate Control--all is working well now.

Hello fellow minecrafters,

Suggestion: Would it be possible to have a config option where you lose X hearts after you die?
For example
# if hardcore mode is enabled, number of hearts lost after death up to starting value. (default: -1 for all hearts reset)
I: "Hearts Lost"=-1
