I have been out of the IT field for a little while now and not sure what is recommended
Im looking to update my PC rig for Gaming (obviously) but I would love to be able to record the family playing minecraft.
I currently have an Intel e2200 (not overclocked) and a GTS 250 1G GPU with 5Gigs of memory (Dont ask how I got 5 gigs) It's currently running fine for gaming on medium/high graphic details.
This has probaly been asked before, will I need a kinect to play it or will i still be able to use the controller?This is also great news, just hope its better than fortrescraftDo they actually mean xbox live arcade or bloody indie, because if its indie there goes all us Aussie's again
I would like to know if it is possible to have one map on peaceful and another map on hard?
My kids and wife play on peaceful and I like playing on hard, but the wife and kids get peeved if i leave the game on hard after i play and dont change it back to peaceful for them before they start, they dont like exploring and running into creepers and skellies.

Just thought I would let you know that ABC's Good Game Spawn Point
Has done a review of MineCraft and have given it a 9/10 chickens (which is good)
The show is for younger viewers, but thought i would share with you all

Asus P8Z77-V LX $128
2x 16G Kit 2400(8Gx2) G.Skill Trident-X
not sure of graphics card
My budget is pretty much what ever I can save for (says the bank(wife))
I would also like options for the Intel i7-3930K ie mobo/GPU combinations
