I cant wait for this update, i mean i really enjoyed the snapshots, but an official update coming out would be awesome

So I've been really wanted to play Minecraft with RPG aspects, exactly like the hack slash mine mod that was in technic pack, unfortunately, the mod that I just mentioned has been discontinued (it's in fact before 1.3, so LAN did not even work) and you can't even play it without doing weird things with your java (that I don't really think is worth it) if anyone can find something like this, or recreate something like this, please pm me

sounds great, would love an 1.8 update soon though, however if it's too much of a issue (maybe you don't even use 1.8 at all) don't worry about it.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a minecraft server with the following requirements.
1.8, pixelmon 4.0.7 server, preferably towny, but it's alright if it's not.
Good, yet small community.
No micro transactions, you know, things like paying for certain pokemon or god tools, although if it's just something like cosmetics, I'm alright with that.
That's just about it.

I am chopper231 and am pleased to announce that me and my friends are currently making one of the few (if they even exist) truly open world minecraft adventure maps, Trysteria. Trysteria is a large (2048x2048) continent cut off from the rest of the world with mountains (World Paint), with a big massive mountain formation in the middle and a river connecting the two parts.
There are 2 countries in this continent which are at war with each other, each one has 4 major towns and control over the river. You can choose which side you want to win, and basically fight for that side, whats more is that attacking one of the sides will make everyone in that faction mad at you.
Other features of this map include tons of side quests easter eggs, references, dungeons, and random structures. we also will be reworking a few things, the mode will be on peaceful, with no natural regen. We will swap the mobs with our own custom ones, and it will hopefully be a challenging experience.
Well thats basically the gist of the ideas, please give me support for my ideas and our work and maybe these ideas will become reality, below are the progress reports

if i go near them.... then the world freezes, and i have to reload the world, luckily it has to be right next to it to freeze
anyone know how to fix this?

I would prefer it in a glass bottle, but that is usually expensive, so most of the time i go for AW
