Yes, you can enter seeds. They differ from the desktop version's seeds, however.

It'll run much nicer on newer and more powerful devices, like the iPhone 4S, but otherwise completely the same. It's a nice mobile Minecraft FOR NOW. Not incredibly feature-filled. Imagine classic mode with lighting and a few more items. But it has been promised updates, so I'll sit tight with what I have for now.

I am incredibly interested. I've been messing around with an Android emulator and a VPN, but that hasn't gotten anywhere.

Once I actually get MC working on an emulator, the next problem will be getting the emulator connected to the wifi hotspot in my house.

I'm not doing it to play, I'm doing it to have a server running 24/7 and possibly even use a VPN to break the hotspot-specific barrier.

I'm running Android 2.3.3 in the SDK emulator on Windows 7 with MC PE installed, and it just crashes whenever I try launching it. Are there any special hardware requirements I'd have to emulate, or anything else to try fixing it?

I'm going to see if it's easy enough to just make a VPN with Hamachi and connect 2 iPhones to it.

EDIT: Hamachi doesn't play nice with iOS's VPN connection settings...

Any way it's possible? I found PocketPack, but it seems to be a dead project. I've also heard of people setting ones up via VPN. Might there be any how-tos on that method, or any other?

What happens when used on bedrock? 0.o
