Some people don't seem to understand how version numbers work. The reason the update is 1.3.2 rather than 1.4 is because it is a smaller update. Don't expect anything big yet, it hasn't been that long since 1.3.
Anyways, glad they were able to fix the bugs relatively fast. Lost a lot of good stuff from the nether bug.

Well, I don't have any ideas atm, but I'll definitely let you know if I think of any. I do agree that something like the pickup attack is definitely unbalanced. Also, meant to mention it in my first post, but the worst attack for me was summon. The angry endermen not only got my attention off of the dragon, but with several I nearly died from them several times, even with OP gear.

Edit:
Just beat it in hard. I went in with high level enchanted iron armor, enchanted bow and sword, and potions in hopes of preserving my diamond armor. That didn't go so well, so I went in again with basically the top gear in the game. While it wasn't easy, I did not find it super challenging.
While I loved the fight, I feel a bit uncertain about the reward. Did you by any chance reduce how frequently the dragon attacks? I remember in 1.2.5 he would fire fireballs like crazy, and it made things annoying as hell, and it doesn't seem the same (or maybe I am remembering wrong?). Much of the time he was flying around. Anyways, since it isn't too difficult to beat with really good gear and potions(which is relatively easy to get) I feel the reward is a somewhat too much. Maybe increase the rate of attacks? Dunno, just my opinion.
All in all I really enjoyed the fight and wish it was more like this in vanilla. I'd say it might need some tweaks, but it is still being worked on. Thank you so much Chylex, for your hard work!

Unless it was changed in 1.4, the pads should still spawn mobs. It works fine in 1.2.5 and 1.3.2, and according to gtaylor (above), it should still work. As for distance from the mob farm, I am relatively sure the mob farm is far enough away, and in any case I have stood at various positions with no success.

No, I do not see anything on the spawning pads, and I do know for a certainty that nothing is spawning in there. I think Minecraft has been weird with mobs spawning above 128 since the build limit was released. I had one in 1.2.5 that I had to climb all the way to the top of to get it spawning.

Like I said, I was getting excellent rates in 1.3.2. I am definitely close enough. Thanks anyways.
Unless I am misinterpreting what you mean, "technical details" have nothing to do with it. I have already given a basic description of the farm, but I can say with a relative degree of certainty that the way the farm works is not part of the problem. If the mobs are not coming down, that would be a different matter, but mobs are not spawning at all, nothing to do with the way the mob farm works. Thanks.
I'll try that. I didn't know anything about mobs not spawning above 240. Regardless, I was getting excellent rates in 1.3.2, and now I am getting absolutely nothing (except for a few mobs spawning when I open up the world). I am assuming this has something to do with chunkloading, which is why I mentioned having blocks to the build limit, and I have placed and broken blocks on top of the farm. Thanks

Sorry, forgot to mention mobs are spawning fine. I have two mob farms, one underground and one in the sky. Mobs spawn fine in the underground one and on the surface. The mob trap is a simple water canal one. There are something like 600 spawning spaces, spiders cannot spawn in it.

Yes, I did look at the newest design. My original intention was to have it cycle through the two modes with only one press of the button, but if that is not possible without it becoming overly complicated/big, then I don't mind. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean. Take a look at my world download, or even UK_Legend's solution, it is possible. It isn't that I want the pistons hidden, but it can't be directly below the glass.
Sorry, I really don't know how to better put it. Did you look at my world download? It might help to look at UK_legend's as well.
Thanks dude, I really appreciate the help!

Ah, very cool. This is it! I was trying to do something similar but it didn't turn out so well. I suck at redstone :D. My only question is, is there an easy way to only have to press the button once? LIke hoop it up the the vertical redstone tower and have it switch by pressing the button below? If not cool, I'll deal with it. Thank you very much!

Here is my attempt at explaining what it would be:
A flush with floor block swapper that works with glass, and pulls the pistons out from under the glass block. I really don't know how possible this would be with limited space, but if anyone knows how to do this, it would be appreciated. I wouldn't mind taking screenshots if I didn't explain the situation well.

Is.. that a typo? Half a year? Anyways, glad things are going well, I've been waiting for this. Good luck with school, I totally feel your pain with the homework.

Cool man, thanks for the reply, great to hear. Don't worry about it, I've been quite busy myself, haven't touched my world in 2 weeks. Don't work yourself too hard :). Glad to hear its getting even harder, and once again thanks so much for your work.
