You are using optifine for 1.9.2 with forge which is made for 1.9 at the moment. Don't mix versions people, it won't work.

Those other websites can also put viruses and malware in the files they provide. Avoid at all cost. Always download mods from their official sources.

Don't hold your breath. For over a year it's been said it's being updated by Vrackfall and little has been done. Zaggy has no time to work on this since he has rarely been logging on here. To be honest, I'd rather see this thread locked, as nothing has progressed and so many people have been asking when this mod will be updated which breaks forum rules. Time to move on.

This vanilla lighting bug has been around since beta 1.8 almost 5 years lol. This will never be fixed unless Mojang redo's the lighting engine.

This goes for all versions, use 1.9.0 mods with 1.9.0 forge use 1.8.9 mods with 1.8.9 forge and 1.8.0 mods with 1.8.0 forge. There isn't even a forge 1.9.2 yet.

Yeah, stupid me (once again) put the whole zip file in the mods folder and not the jar mod that is inside the zip file. I got it to run yesterday and forgot to tell ya. I'm dumb.

Is there a reason why you skipped 1.8.9? It doesn't make sense for the 1.8.8 version to work with 1.8.9. A reply would be appreciated.

I personally don't think it does, but there is a mod called "Dynamic Lights" by Atomic Stryker that does what your asking for. It is updated to 1.9 and is forge compatible.

I sure hope you mean you "donated". You didn't buy anything, you're supporting sp614x so he can continue to develop the mod.
