Not sure if I'm blind or what, but I don't see the "Multi-Core" option anywhere with "OptiFine 1.8.1_HD_U_B4", even though it says that it's included? Normally you can find it by going to: Options > Video Settings > Chunk Loading. Without it, Minecraft just doesn't feel as smooth.
Tested this version , the sound is very low and there is a bug with the rain sequence.
Rain sound when its sunny and then quiet when it rains , after a period of rain the sequence gets messed up.
Sorry , it doesn't work correctly
This even happens with msi_conversion. I would also like to know what could be the cause of this!
Where do you place Lightmaps? The instructions says "/environment/lightmap0.png: (Overworld)". I tried placing them in assets\minecraft\textures\environment and named it "lightmap0", for the overworld but it isn't working.
If you are using a custom resourcepack, open it with winrar or 7-zip and go into the pack's mcpatcher folder and create a new folder called "lightmaps". Then you'll want to rename the 3 lightmap files that you want to use as world1, world0 and world-1 and put them in the lightmaps folder. That should work.
