I used to think this about horses, but I changed my mind. I believe that each form of transportation has advantages and disadvantages. Minecarts require many resources and are slower than horses/elytra but can be used underground and while AFK. Horses are slower than elytra, are difficult to obtain at first, and can get stuck in rough terrain, but are still fast and don't require any additional resources. Walking is good at the beginning and requires nothing but is slow. Even pig riding is slow but it can be fun and help you get an achievement.
Elytra have advantages and disadvantages too, in my opinion. They are really fast and allow players to fly over all rough terrain, but they use up resources, like firework rockets. They have less disadvantages, but are also the hardest to get, and cannot be repaired infinitely (as far as I know), so eventually players will have to get new ones.
Also, often as players become more advanced in their worlds, they often cover larger distances, either to find things or for other reasons. Faster transportation can help people travel those distances. In my world, I found a village around 1500 blocks away from my spawn, which would be difficult for me to get to before, but now that I have a horse, I can travel there in less than 4 minutes.
I understand that you may be frustrated, but they aren't "slacking", they have real lives too, and coding takes time. I'm sure they are working on improvements.
NO SUPPORT. Why? Because the game is about survival, magic and fighting zombies. It's like saying: "I think that they should add more unicorns in GTA."
When I play a game with swords and potions, I think, "You know... Just where is the nuclear stuff?!"
You are assuming these things about Minecraft. It isn't narrowed to swords and magic. It is a sandbox game. Minecraft may have a certain feel, but I don't think it was made for only one playstyle. After all, there are multiple modes.
To the OP, I think uranium could have a purpose, but I don't think that atomic creepers should be added, because that could destroy everything you have in a second. I at least think that they shouldn't spawn naturally in the overworld.
I like the idea of a round or cubic worldtype. However, I think this idea would also need some other features to give it that feeling, like time zones, and world tilt and regional weather.
However, I think this should be a world type, not the world that everyone uses.
There could also be more snow near the poles and more tropical biomes at the center, just some ideas.
I understand why this idea would be requested, but I don't think it would fit well with the game, which is by default 16x16. I know many people use higher pixel densities, but to me it would feel out of place.
It's usually a conflict with another mod. Also, the particles do sometimes take a little time to load (depending how good your computer is), so wait 5 minutes after starting a world. If no clouds appear, remove any mods from the mod folder (if you have others) and place them out of the way, leaving only the coroutil and the weather mods in the mod folder. Then, start up the weather mod to make sure it works. If it does, re-add your mods, one mod at a time, and then start up minecraft for every mod you re-add. if the weather mod works, you're clear to re-add the next mod. If it doesn't, you're just gonna have to play without that mod if you really want the weather mod.
Hope that helps.
Thank you, but I should probably clarify what I meant.
Loading a world which I generated with the weather2 mod is fine, but when I use another world (like a downloaded map) no particles appear. The weather forecast says there are particles, but there aren't. I am not sure if it means the same thing, because it happens even when I just have the weather2 mod installed.

I can run 200 mods with an Intel HD 4000. I think that computer can then run over 200, although it of course depends on the size of the mods.

I like this idea. Sometimes a larger door would fit better in a building.
Also because right now a 3 wide doorway cannot be built.

I recommend the Weather2 mod. There are tornadoes, ,hurricanes, hail, and thunderstorms, and settings are very configurable.

I support this! It is annoying to transfer between dimensions, having one command would help a lot.

How do you know? Sometimes features are easier than you think. It could be so if you keep walking in one direction, you would get to the other side.

I am not sure about this idea, but I think it expresses a more important idea: rotten flesh has practically no uses.
I don't know if rotten flesh should be able to turn into leather but I think it should be able to be used for something.

I like this idea. Sometimes clouds go into mountains.
Although it would be interesting if clouds were at varying heights.

I like this mod, especially Winter when all of the biomes are filled with snow.

I really like the Local Weather and Stormfronts mod but when I load a world in it there don't seem to be any particles. Is there any way to fix this?
By the way, I am using version 2.3.9, if that helps.

There seems to be lots of discussion about Windows 10 edition, what about us mac users?
