OcAMD posted a message on Blazes not spawning from Blaze Spawner?Posted in: Minecraft (Bedrock) SupportYou may need to make a nether hub to transport to your Blaze Farm faster so you don't hit the mob cap trying to get there. Here is a good Nether Portal Calculator to assist you.

OcAMD posted a message on Blazes not spawning from Blaze Spawner?Posted in: Minecraft (Bedrock) SupportYou may be hitting the mob cap before the Blazes have a chance to spawn. Can you set the game to peaceful to remove all hostile mobs and then change back to desired game mode to see if it spawns Blazes? At least this way you'll know if it is the mob cap causing the issues.

LaughingOtter posted a message on Keep the old worlds alive!Looking at the Stargate Mod gave me an idea. I think what XBox Minecraft needs to compensate for its limited size is world portals. These would be portals by which you could travel to another game, either one you can join, one you can load, or a new one. It would be survival mode only, and you could carry stuff between worlds in your inventory.Posted in: MCX360: Suggestions
I think this would solve the old worlds problem without a lot of resource detection or complicated respawning, or recoding every time 4J add something new. You could travel to a new world and harvest resources there to bring back and add to the old worlds you've put so much work into. And you could travel to a friend's world and contribute building resources to shared projects. -

UpUp_Away95 posted a message on Keep the old worlds alive! One thought I had to help introduce newer blocks into old worlds is to use a bonus chest type feature that could be toggled on in survival to spawn a single chest containing items that the game detects were introduced after the date the world was initially created. It could also be programmed to generate a single chest with enough end blocks to make an end portal so that these worlds could complete the game without having to be put into creative mode to do it. Villager spawn eggs could also be put in such a chest.Posted in: MCX360: Suggestions -

Chief_Sonic posted a message on A Simple Request + A question about VillagersHello! I'm sure for lots of people, your main world IS minecraft for you. I wanted to make a small request that may seem a little strange!Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
Every update some items are out of reach, but with villagers trading system just around the bend, you could take advantage of this by having a new villager.
The "Lumberjack" who sells lumber and saplings. That way we wont miss out of that lovely jungle wood on our old worlds.
Another alternative would be the starter chest, but this might be too easy
Here goes my other question. I have a village pretty far away that spawned villagers after I went in that area (this map is pretty old) so I was very lucky to get 2.
I built a minecart across the map and then I had a thought....around our area we have about 20-30 aniamls caged up. We tried to get more and they started to de-spawn in relatively small fencing in the next area over. (the next area over happens to be a desert if this makes any difference)
My question is...will my villagers despawn if I bring them to this area?
And a counter question....I have a zombie spawner...in the PC does the Zombie villager spawn in the zombie spawner with the zombies? or do they have to be infected....because this could be an alternative to get villagers in old maps by curing them from the spawners...
Thanks for your time! : ) -

OverlookeDEnT posted a message on Awesome Edge Of World Discovery.... Must Read!Sorry If this has been posted before but I've never read it. I tried searching and no luck.....Posted in: MCX360: Discussion
So there I was having the worst mining expedition ever... I complain about finally finding Diamonds... Where were they!? Edge of the world... The dreaded un-mineable Diamond Block sitting there laughing at me, mocking me....
So I tell the guys on the server I'm heading up to get some TNT and at least get the Xp out of it because you can blow it up....
So my friend Feeqs just randomly says "I wonder if you can pull those out with STICKY PISTONS?"
So I say "I might as well try it I'm blowing it up anyways".... went up top got my TNT, lever a couple redstone dust and a Sticky Piston......
Guess What!?!?! It freaking works...Positioned the sticky piston at the diamond and [Insert Sucking Sound FX]
Out it came! It became mineable!... I tried 2 layers into the un-mineable wall and the piston won't move but the first visible layer of the un-mineable wall can be pulled by a sticky piston and will become mine-able...
Go! Go retrieve all those ******* diamonds that have sat there believing they are safe.. NO MORE!!! -

MattoFelice posted a message on Lapis Lazuli dust(wire)Hello who here is tired of making a redstone project and reworking the redstone and redoing it and so on and so forth because the redstone keeps connecting where you don't want it to and by the time you are done you used up much more dust than needed and the project is bulkier than expected???Posted in: MCX360: Suggestions
here is my solution:
Lapis Lazuli Dust(wire)
it works just like redstone in just about every way shape and form but it doesn't connect when side by side and such so your redstone projects can be more compact, less time consuming, and more colorful.
there should also be a new block make of 2 redstone 2 lapuli 4 stone and 1 redstone turch so you can cross the wires without having to go up or down one block it would be arranged the following
row 1:stone,red dust,stone
row 2:lapis, torch,lapis
row 3:stone,red,stone

I hate cats in reality. Mostly the female cats. Makes me hate every cat I see. I know one that meows beyond ugly. Like a walrus having a baby. Oh god. Don't even get me started.

-Spawn villages on EVERY seed
-Spawn 1 villager a mincraft day in the villages (This would make it possible to get villagers spawn in old worlds "TU6")
-Lumberjack. Trades Saplings, Wood, & Leaves. (Stolen from Chief_Sonic)
-Breeding is slightly easier than the PC
-Lily Pads, Glass, Sand, Vines & Melon Seeds for trade
Other ideas
-Chunk check if the actual world, not seed, has a strong hold or village. If not spawn it somewhere outside of the map. (Give the people who dont have a strong hold or a village a chance please)
Needs to be fixed
-Piston registry. Pistons pushing you & mobs correctly.
Ideas to keep the old words alive.

Put a wall of chests and the opposite of that wall put chests but the 2nd with goodies and the first with cobblestone.
Bring armor. You will be getting in to a lot of caves with mobs.
Bring 1 water bucket with you. You'll see a lot of lava.
Bring a clock and a map. So you know what time it is and where you're at.
Bring 2 stacks of torches when you branch/strip mine.
On the outside surface of your branch mine make a little tree farm for wood to make sticks for tools and sugar cane farm for books
Bring brewing stands or speed potions with you. Put them in a chest. When you die you can drink them and get to the place faster where you died.
Make 2 different pathways 3x3 left and right.
Skip 3 between each branch/strip/line
1 block wide, 3 blocks high every branch/strip/line
Place torches every 10 blocks in the branch/strip/line
Above your branch mine make an enchantment table or another room at the branch mine (optional)
Bring crafting tables. 1 with you when you're mining and 1 at your base.
Make a room for beds for you to sleep in just in case if you died you can respawn there.
Make a furnace room (optional)
Get a silk touch pickaxe (Mine the ores. Saves lots of space in your inventory)
Get a fortune III pickaxe (Triples the amount of diamonds, redstone, etc.)
Get a row of iron pickaxe enchanted at level 1 in your inventory
Go straight in the branch/stip mine until you're at the end of the world
Use cobble to smelt to stone then patch up the areas that isn't stone so you have a clean looking stone branch mine. (optional)
Use cobble to smelt to stone then craft to stone bricks then remodel your base or build something with it. (optional)
Once your done bring home the goodies then mine it with your fortune pickaxe.
You want to get furnaces in your base and enchantment table so you don't have to go back to enchant an iron pickaxe or make one.
Always get the coal, redstone, etc! Diamonds sometimes are hiding under it.
I got 3 stacks of diamonds in 2 days by doing this.
Feel free to ask questions about my personal tactic.
