The entrance to my portal room from my mine/house. also, there is a entrance from outside that you cant see.


My portal room. lava below, water above, torches all around. (and in case you are wondering, i did accidently break the glass and turn all the lava to obsidian. it took me forever to turn it back. :tongue.gif:)

All you can do with the color is make it darker by making it a color with less red in it. Personally I've started just making the whole smoke texture transparent. Can't say I really miss it off the torches and it means not having to worry that my electric blue 'redstone' wire is going to have red smoke.

Ya, that is what i am doing with my redstone. i have changed the whole thing to "purplestone", and i have to say, it looks pretty epic.

thanks! Is there a way for me to change the color of the particle for just the redstone, or is that somewhere in one of the uneditable game files? because changing the actual particle color doesn't do anything.

I have been working on my own personal retexture for minecraft, and everything is working fine. However; I have one question. One of the things I am changing is redstone. I have retextured it already, and there is nothing wrong with it. My problem is, that I can not find the image where I can change the red particles that appear when the redstone wire is on. i have looked everywhere, and I can not find the right file. Is it even possible to retexture that particle? and if so, where is that file located?
