This is a simple idea that just flips the hand for people like me. (the raging 10% of us :/)



Now, I cannot wait for the WAVE of people going "NOH NOH NOH NOH NOH NOH WHY ITS A WASTE OFTIME OMG ITS STUPID LOLOLOL CRYSUMOAR" it would take about 10-20 minutes to code and could greatly help people with left dominant eye. Im not really good at most first-person shooters because the veiw is very weird for me. it just feels unatural.

Hi everybody! Im canned meat and I have had some ideas in my head for a long time to help improve the Nether.

One note: I am not very good with english so please excuse any misspelling or missing puncuation.


So im going to just jump right into this thread and start with ores and blocks:

Ores:

Netherrite: Netherrite is a type of ore that is orangish in colour and has the same rarity of Lapis Lazuli. it can only be mined with a iron pick or better and when broken, Lava comes out (Terraira? whats a Terraria?) it has about 650-700 uses depending on the item and it has a 25% chance to light mobs on fire.


Blood Diamond: Same rarity as diamond and well...red. it is found in groups of 2-8 and has about 850-950 uses depending on the item. it mines faster than diamond but it is harder to get and has less uses.

Mobs:

Fire Dog: A type of red wolf (Kinda like a hellhound) that will ALWAYS set you on fire when they attack you they have 5 hearts on easy, 7 on medium and 10 on hard. they drop Fire Charges on death.

Items:

Shadow Sword: randomly found in Nether Fortresses (We need chests in there NAO) this sword causes mobs to run around and get confused but not always only 25% chance.

Let me start by saying that my english is not very good and I am still learning it...I apologize for gramatical errors.

Now onto the real topic!


Volcanos...There one of the most INSANE forces of nature and they can do great things in little time...we can take pompeii for exaple here...it was buried in ash dissapearing only to be rediscoverd by us...Humans!


Volcanos would only spawn in jungle or ocean biomes and they would be as rare as a village (so pretty uncommon to prevent too much from happining)


there would be 2 types of volcanos. They would be called: Dead volcanos and live volcanos! In addition both types would pipe down to bedrock and would contain different things as a reward for your hard trek.



LIVE VOLCANOS!

Live volcanos would be filled with lava. but there is somthing formed on the cone! a cave that would spiral down to a VOLCANO LAIR (manaical laughter here!) in the volcano lair there would be: chests and spider spawner for challenge! not to mention some redstone devices scatterd around on the floor (I.E dust, repeaters and in rare cases redstone torch) in the chests would be: Blaze rods or powder, iron ingots or gold ingots, Fire charges, TNT and in rare cases 1-3 DIAMONDS! YAY

DEAD VOLCANOS!

These have no lava and are PITCH BLACK you must find a way to get to the bottom (the bottom would go to layer 15) upon arriving you would find a skeleton spawner! also you would find a chest that would always contain 3-6 diamonds

now to explain why there are so many diamonds in these volcanos...Most of you will know why but this may help if you do not know:

Diamonds are formed from heat and pressure! A volcano houses the perfect conditions to make diamonds! thus many dead volcanos contain somthing called a "Diamond Pipe". In these pipes diamonds are often found explaining why there are diamonds in these chests!

Rice. It was one of the first crops man has ever used. and byfar one of the most usefull. It greatly influenced chinas wealth and created some nifty new furnature. now imagin china...but in a blocky form...THIS IS RICECRAFT









Now I know what your thinking. "Why the HELL do we need rice?" well If you will continue to read on I hope you like this idea

First I would like to say 3 things:
1. Rice would only be found in water and could only go up 3 blocks high (could not be 100% submerged. Just the first block of it.
2. It would only be found in Swamp Biomes
3. You CAN make paper out of it for a subsitute.



Note: Pumpkin seeds = Rice


Rice bowl. pop it in the furnace for cooked rice. Heals 1/2 of your Hunger Meater


Sushi. Heals 3/4 of your Hunger Meater


Rice Patty. Could be used as a emergency food because you dont need a crafting table to make it.



Rice Screen. Used for decor. fits like a pane (semi-transparent)


Sliding rice door. Used for decor (semi-transparent) (thanks The_Appollyon!)


I will think of more things to post for this thread as there is not much on it right now.

Please post some suggestions!

After some longs discussions about the beaches and coconuts! We are finally getting somewhere, so, here are the updates:

- Palm Tree

* Only found on beach biome
* Can be used with a hammock (description below)
* Different wood and planks (color)
* You can plant it anywhere that has sand (maybe dirt later) and water.

- Coconuts (Raw)

* Obtained by a Palm Tree
* You can throw it to do a little damage, about half a heart. Turning into (?) Mashed Coconut or (?) Coconut Part.
* If used in a grid with an empty bottle, you can retrieve Coconut Water, filling up to 3 bottles.

- Hammock

* Crafter with 6 Wools/Strings, in the same formation as the doors.
* Can be used with any trees, better with the Palm Tree, to work. It works like the bed, but you won't "sleep", you will rest. So, you can rest during the day to wake up at night, or vice-versa.
* You need to use it on 2 trees that are side by side, in a distance of 3 blocks.

- (?) Mashed Coconut

* Can be used with a normal Cake, becoming a Coconut Cake that heals half hunger points more.
* (?) Source of food

- (?) Coconut Part

* You can have a (?) Coconut Pulp, that can be eaten, so that Coconut Part will become empty, so, it can be used just like a normal bowl.

- (?) The Coconut Potion!

* Can be crafted with Coconut Water
* Use a bottle of Coconut Water on those things that you make potion, they it will turn into Coconut Potion (not the real name yet).

* Effects *

* Your hunger bar won't go down so soon, while in the effect of the potion, you can run, jump and whatever, without having to worry about your hunger bar.
* You can't overpower it with the effect of 8:00 minutes, only 1:30 minutes. You can't turn it into Coconut Potion II, because it will has the same effects, so, that's useless.

It's time we add placeable mob spawners to vanilla Minecraft, more specifically, vanilla Creative

Spawn eggs in Dispensers is pretty close, but have two fatal flaws, one being needing to dig out space to place down redstone repeaters, which, admittedly isn't that fatal, and the second being that one can completely bypass them by waiting it out or by right clicking them and removing the eggs.

What I suggest is a way to include mob spawners for every mob.

"But Stevenson," an imaginary presuming reader says, "Won't that mean there'd be...one...two..three...21 new blocks added to the creative pallet, clogging it up?"

Well, I prepared for that.
What I ask for, is this:



an empty one. It could be used as decoration, which is a plus.

But its real purpose lies in that if you right click it with a spawn egg, it will turn into a spawner of that mob. This keeps the creative pallet almost unchanged, and adds an extra way to spawn mobs, dispensers for controlled spawning, and spawners for filling a room with mobs.

I want more magic in Minecraft. But I also want it to be useful and not too powerful. Here's an idea how to add a very useful but not too powerful type of scrying to the game

The crystal ball would be created by surrounding an eye of ender with glass blocks in your crafting grid. The crystal ball would appear like a faintly glowing green orb on a small pedestal, and could be placed on any solid surface.

Right clicking on a crystal ball would give you an out of body experience. Although your body would not move, your POV would be placed just above the build limit, at y=130, to give you an aerial view of the land directly above your body's current position. You would be able to turn your POV to look in different directions, but could not move from that spot.

When you right click (or if your body is moved or attacked or the crystal ball is removed) your POV would get sent back to your body.

This has 2 main uses:

1) You can get a view from above without having to build an unsightly pillar. Great for scouting, or planning the layout of a base, or just to admire the view.

2) You can check what's above your current position when you're underground. Digging a tunnel and want to make sure you're digging in the right area? Scry to get a bird's eye view. You can already do this second function to an extent with maps, but this would give you a closer more informative view.

Crystal balls would not function in the nether or in the end.

So I was thinking that MC should be a bit more realistic about temperature. So I thought of a cold bar. The idea is that if you stay in the snow biome for too long without a fire or a room with torches then your temp bar decreases, thus resulting in death. So, I then thought of Wool overcoats! The point of wool over-coating is that the more you have on the slower your temp bar decreases.
