    Zelda Hearts
    Bringing Zelda's RPG style heart system into Minecraft.



    Basically, with this mod you start with 3 hearts. Each heart has 4 quarters, instead of minecrafts 2 halves. So 3 hearts with this mod is equivalent to 6 hearts in vanilla. It will be tough surviving with only 12 hit points, so you will need to search for dungeons in order to find heart pieces. After finding 4 heart pieces you can craft them in a 2x2 fashion to get a heart container. You can consume a heart container to gain one extra permanent heart. You can also acquire heart containers by defeating bosses like the wither and the enderdragon.

    To make it even harder, the hunger bar will no longer have an effect on your regeneration. To get health back you will have to break tall grass or use potions. When breaking tall grass there is a 1/20 chance of it dropping a heart. On picking it up you will be healed by 4 hit-points, which is the equivalent of one heart.

    The mod also adds in fairy fountains which can be found rarely underground.
    They will contain 1-3 fairies. On colliding with them you become fully healed at the cost of their lives, so if you want them to live make sure you stay at a distance! You can catch them by right clicking them with a bottle in hand. If you die while carrying a bottled fairy somewhere in your inventory you will be revived. You can also right click the bottled fairy to refill your hearts.
    Don't worry about the fairies wandering away from the fountain, they won't leave!

    To install this, just download the mods .jar file and paste it into your /mods folder with forge installed.

    What is this?
    This is an official update to the Arcane Ascension mod, originally by:
    Murayama (MTG artist Dan Scott)
    Areus
    Pheenixm and dgary.

    The main feature of the mod is the mystical floating islands.
    You will find many new mysterious ores, and forge the strongest armour known to man, which can be imbued with special effects.

    Empyrium [em-PEER-ee-uhm]

    A rare magic crystal said to be able to imbue items with arcane abilities. These paragons are so powerful they even cause the earth itself to defy gravity and raise into the air. They also infuse the soil so special plants grow from the earth.Mining it will give you an Empyrium Paragon.
    Prometheum [pro-MEE-thee-uhm]

    A volatile fuel used in a Prometheus Chamber. It can be found in the regular world but it's more common in the Nether. When mined it drops Prometheum Embers. Adamantium [ad-uh-MANT-ee-uhm]

    This metal is the hardest material in existence. It's also the only metal capable of being enhanced with an Empyrium Paragon. A regular furnace doesn't get hot enough to smelt it. It must be smelted in a Prometheus Chamber. The metal is so hard it can only be smelted with Prometheum. When smelted it returns an Adamantium Ingot. Trace-Stone [TREYS-stohn]

    Some stone has trace amounts of other ores in it. Normally the amounts are too small to be detected let alone extracted. Through the wonders of the Prometheus Chamber these ores will no longer go to waste.Arcane Constructs----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Prometheus Chamber

    This is the only machine capable of harnessing the power of Prometheum and the only thing that gets hot enough to smelt Adamantium. It's able to smelt items slightly faster than a regular furnace and is able to extract ores from Trace Stone. Here's a shot of the Prometheus Chamber GUI in action. There are 10 output slots for the different material returned from Trace-Stone. The recipe: I recognize the gold and obsidian but what's that thing in the middle you say?     This is needed to craft a Prometheus Chamber. This is a very powerful and volatile item and great care must be taken with it. Throwing it can have catastrophic consequences. However, since it doesn't destroy ores it can be a very valuable mining tool in the proper hands. Before: After: The recipe: Glimmerwood Trees----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Glimmerwood trees spawn all over, and only on floating islands. They emit light and act the same as any other regular tree would. Floating Islands----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    These are places where Empyrium is concentrated to the point the earth has risen into the air. This is also the only place Glimmerwood trees grow naturally though the saplings can be planted anywhere regular trees would grow.Havenbloom----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    (PIC COMING) Empyrium can be very difficult to find. Fortunately these flowers grow anywhere there's a high concentration of Empyrium. Look for the flower and you're sure to find the prize. This flower can also be burned in the Prometheus Chamber to repair any items made with Adamantium or Glimmerwood. This is very useful since an item must be at 100% in order to be upgraded. Future plans: This flower will repel mobs so they can be planted outside your base as protection.Arcane Tools and Armour----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Adamantium Pickaxe

    This is one of the only tools worthy of being crafted in Adamantium. All other tools are considered too mundane to use an ore as precious as Adamantium on. Mining Speed: Same as gold. Durability: 1600 uses. It's crafted with Adamantium Ingots and Glimmerwood sticks The recipe: Enchanted Pickaxe (no picture up)

    On right click is mines the block your looking at with a silk touch effect and drops it at your feet, but costs 10 times the durability.(it also picks up ice and glass ) Mining Speed: Same as gold. Durability: 2400 uses. Crafted with Adamantium ingots Glimmerwood sticks and a Empyrium Paragon. Adamantium Sword

    Damage: 5 hearts Durability: 1600 uses The recipe: Glimmerwood Bow (no picture)

    Last longer than a normal bow. Does more damage that normal bow. (Hopefully shoots homing arrows if I can code it) Ascendant Gaunlets

    Tier 1 This acts as a pickaxe, shovel and sword all in one. Mining Speed: Same as iron. Digging Speed: Same as iron. Durability: 1600 uses. Damage: 8 health (4 hearts) The recipe: You can then upgrade this to the next level. Tier 2 Mining Speed: Same as diamond. Digging Speed: Same as diamond. Durability: 1600 uses. Damage: 11 health(5.5 hearts) Special Abilities: - Right click on a mob to pick it up.. Right click again to fling them away. This uses 5 durability. (Very glitchy) - Requires nether wart for use. The recipe: (Requires Ascendant Gauntlet Tier 1) Upgrade again if you like. Tier 3 Mining Speed: Same as gold. Digging Speed: Same as gold. Durability: 1600 uses. Damage: 14 health (7 hearts) Special Abilities: - Right click on a mob to pick it up. It cannot attack you while held. Release to throw the mob 10 blocks in the air. This uses 1 durability. (Very glitchy) - Right click on a block to super punch. This causes an explosion that doesn't harm entities or ores but does mine other blocks. - Requires gunpowder to use.     Protection: same as Diamond Durability: Slightly more than Diamond The recipe: Once you have this you can upgrade it using Empyrium. Tier 1 Protection: same as Diamond Durability: Slightly more than Diamond Special Abilities: - Allows wearer to breathe underwater Catalyst: Raw Fish The recipe: Once you have this you can upgrade it again with Empyrium.     In-depth Explanations

    I will not add screenshots of every recipe, until I do so, if I do, I suggest using NEI for recipes.
    They are very similar to the original mods recipes, so you could also search for them for info.

    Airship
    The airship requires a lot of resources to make, but its definitely worth it.
    Once you craft the balloon, 2 engines and the rest of the resources needed, just right click to hop in.
    You will need coal in your inventory to fuel the ship.
    To move around just use the general WASD keys. To ascend press space, to descend press shift.

    Beekeeping
    Once you are ready to start your journey into beekeeping, you will first need to find a beehive.
    Beehives are naturally generated under trees in the wild.
    Smashing it will drop a queen bee, but be careful - it releases a big swarm of bees!

    You will next need to create an apiary!
    While staffed by a queen bee, over time the apiary will produce waxcomb, honeycomb and bee grubs.
    Placing flowers around it will stimulate the queen bee and cause her to increase the goods faster!

    With the raw waxcomb you can create wax blocks.
    These can be either used for decoration, or to store large amounts for later use!
    Honey blocks can also be created with honeycomb for the same purpose.

    The next block you will need to create is the comb presser.
    This allows you to press the honeycomb and waxcomb into more useful resources like honey and pressed wax.

    You can use the pressed wax to create a pressed wax block, which can be used for decoration or storage.
    The honey drops, when smelted in a furnace will give you sugar!

    Pressed wax can be combined with string to make a beautiful alternative to torches.
    When the candles are combines with either iron or gold ingots, you will get the respective type of chandelier.
    These can be hung from the ceiling to light your home or cave in style!

    When honey drops are put into a bottle, you get a bottle of delicious refined honey.
    When drank, you will get a speed boost and will replenish all of your hunger!

    Why stop at honey in a bottle?
    Combine a honey drop with some pork to get honey glazed pork! A meal fit for a king!

    Last but not least, you may want to create an incubator.
    Your one queen bee isn't producing honey fast enough for your needs?
    Instead of going searching for more beehives in the wild, you can just incubate the bee grubs that the queen bee produces in the apiary, to grow them into more queens!

    Peacefulpack
    The main idea behind the peacefulpack is to give you an alternative to killing monsters to get mob drops.
    Perfect for if your playing in peaceful mode.

    Fossils can be found throughout the caves of the world.
    They can be found in many shapes and sizes, but all can be mined as an alternative source of bones.
    Silk touch does work when trying to retrieve the fossil. They make great decorations!

    Sulfur and Niter, also known as brimstone and saltpeter, can be found starting just below the surface.
    They are always found in the same vein, and mining them will give you either 3 sulfur crystals or 3 niter crystals, respectively

    Sulfur crystals can be used as a replacement of coal when crafting torches.
    As with coal, the recipe nets you 4 torches.

    Niter is an excelent natural fertilizer, and can be cut with your bonemeal to double your existing supply of bonemeal!

    The real value of sulfur and niter, is of course, that they are the key ingredients in gunpowder.
    Combining one each of sulfur, niter, and charcoal (not regular coal) gives you 2 gunpowder piles!
    TNT TIME!

    Flax flowers can be found growing in wild, but its as rare as pumpkins, so you may have to search for a while to find these treasures.
    Flax has 3 stages of growth, and when fully grown, can be harvested to produce a new flax seed and fiber.
    Like any crop, flax can be instantly grown to full size using bonemeal, and can be placed anywhere flowers or wheat can be placed.

    Two flax fibers can be combined to make string, giving you a new source of the precious material without having to mess with those nasty spiders.
    Combining two string will give you cloth, and combing two cloth will give you a wool block.
    You can also break down two wool blocks into two cloth, but doing so is very inefficient and will result in a loss of material each time you do it.

    Another useful property of flax is that the cloth woven from it, much like that of spider silk, is tough, durable, thick, warm and resilient.
    It's no wonder then, that it's great for use as a weak form of armor.
    Can't find any cows?
    Cloth can be used in replacement for leather when creating the lowest tier of armor, perfect for spelunking runs.

    You may stumble upon a giant pool of sticky, green slime while exploring the depths of the minecraft world.
    These slime blocks will slow you like web when walking through it, so dont get stuck!
    The blocks can be broken to give you slimeballs, and may randomly spawn slimes of any sizes.
    Perfect for making a slime farm!

    Miscellaneous
    Rope can be a convenient alternative to ladders in some cases.
    It can be attached to any ceiling, and hangs down until it reaches the floor, another object or water.
    Useful for getting in and out of deep ravines or other caves.
    Reel in the rope by breaking it with your hand, or cut it short with a sword or axe.

    Jump pads can be used spring any entity 5 blocks high into the air.

    Im here to present the updated and continued version of MyrkMods Herblore Patch!

    Confused about the new 2.0 update?
    Read about the changes here:

    ---Smoking---
    Pipes can be smoked with by holding right click. It will consume one grinded bud from your inventory.
    Joints can be stacked to 4.
    The hookah can be activated by a right click with flint and steal. This will consume some toke from your inventory.
    The next right click will smoke it.

    ---High---
    The more you smoke the darker the screen will get.
    Smoking grants minor health regeneration and movement speed.
    If the high gets above 8 minutes you will overdose.

    ---Growing---
    Planting the seed will place a hemp plant.
    Destroying the hemp plant will return a hemp leaf.
    Hemp will grow 2 blocks tall before growing a toke head on the 3rd.
    The toke head drops toke bud, and has a random chance to drop seeds.
    I recommend only harvesting the middle of the plant when fully grown, since the seeds are rare.
    The toke plant doesn't need to be placed next to water, but does need to be in direct sunlight or directly under glowstone or redstone lamps. (Light must be placed either 1 or 2 blocks above the plant for it to grow)

    ---Production---
    The drying table is used to dry toke bud or mushrooms.
    The table doesn't require fuel but must be placed in the sunlight.
    Grinding has stayed the same.

    Who is this mod aimed at?
    Single player adventurers who want to spice up their world!
    This mod has been made to add to minecraft without outweighting the balance of the game, without giving diamonds for dirt.
    There is no generation code in this mod, so you wont need to restart a new minecraft world to play, you just install and starting toking. ;)

    What is it?
    Now toke is famous for its proven healing effects, so we decided to bring it to minecraft.
    To gain toke you must find a village. In the village there is a random chance that one of the houses will spawn a hookah and drying table inside with toke growing in the backyard.
    Along with the house comes a dealer villager that wears a dark blue robe. You can trade with him for seeds and bud.
    When you harvest that toke, you can plant them just like sugar-cane and start your own toke farm.
    Be careful where you plant it, if you break the base again it wont give you seeds back.
    To feel the healing effects of the herb, it must be smoked.

    So how do i smoke it?
    To feel the benificial healing effects of the toke, you must smoke it.
    You can smoke it in many ways.
    Through a glass bong, pipes, joints, cookies, brownies and hookahs!
    Smoking it will heal your health immediately, but give you the munchies.
    Consuming the cookies and brownies will refill your hunger bar!
    Once you have obtained some toke bud, dry it in the drying table to produce dried bud.
    With the dried bud in your inventory, hold right click with grinder item and it will slowly convert it to grinded toke bud.
    Bongs heal a considerable amount of health and have 3 uses, but are annoying to craft since you need to be near a crafting table to pack it.
    Pipes are a more efficient way to smoke it, you can craft the pipes out of wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond.
    The better the material you make it out of, the more health, longer high and less of the munchies you get.
    The joint heals heaps but uses a lot of toke! When smoked it leaves you with a roach which can then be smoked in the bong or crafted into a new joint.

    I'm here to present to you my 'Mineables' mod!

    What is it?
    I know your probably thinking, wow.. another ore mod...
    BUT i assure you this is nothing like those boring, recoloured ore and tool sets.
    This mod at the moment adds a few new ores, including, Wurtzite, Strone, Elemental and Aetherium.
    It also adds a chisel!
    So say your lazy and wanna just go around chiseling the ores out of rocks, and leaving behind smooth stone, YOU CAN!

    Ore Descriptions

    Strone:
    Strone is found below 64, and looks like cracked smoothstone.
    It has an undetectable amount of ore in them.
    It can either drop Gold Nuggets, Diamond Splints or Ascintium.

    Wurtzite:
    Wurtzite is found below level 16 and is the hardest mineral on earth!
    It cant be chiseled out.
    It has a light-ish pink look to it.
    It drops wurtzite ore, and can be smelted in the furnace to produce wurtzite ingots.
    In the future, there will be a new furnace that burns at a higher temperature to melt the ore.
    It can be used, along with Armor Padding, (which is created like a bed, but with leather on top, and wool along the bottom), to create wurtzite armor.

    Wurtzite armor has the same damage block as diamond, but lasts 1/3 longer.

    Elemental:
    Elemental is found below 32, it slightly glows and looks dark purple.
    Its mythical nature prevents it from being chiseled out.
    It can be smelted in the furnace to produce Elemental Ingots.

    With the elemental ingots, you can craft elemental stones.
    To craft these just place the elemental ingot in the middle, and surround it with the right items to get that corresponding stone.

    Wind: 8 Feathers
    Water: 4 Raw Fish + 4 Glass Bottles of Water
    Fire: 4 Flint + 4 Blaze Rods
    Earth: 4 Clayballs + 4 Sticks
    Life: 4 Golden Apples + 4 Ghast Tears

    Elemental stones are used to imbue wurtzite armor and give them special abilitys, which you will see down the post.

    Aetherium:
    Aetherium is found below level 96.
    It looks exactly like stone, and drop cobblestone, you wont know where it is.
    Man once knew how to mine it, but no longer.
    If you can figure out the secret of aetherium, when "mined" will drop an aetherium rock.
    It has no purpose at the moment, but will in the future, allow you to fly, remove fall damage, etc..

    Copper:
    Copper has a dark brown color and is found below level 48 pretty commonly.
    It drops copper dust which can be crafted with an iron ingot to produce a brass ingot.

    Lumerium:
    Lumerium has a light yellowish color and it found below level 64, moderatly commonly.
    It can drop 1-3 Lumerium Pieces that can be eaten to heal 2 hunger and give you the ability to mine faster for 1 minute.
    Later on this will be used in various crafting recipes for lighting sources.

    Randomite:
    Randomite has a different texture on each side, all resembling vanilla ores.
    Its rather common and can drop Diamond, Gold, Iron, Redstone, Lapis or Coal.

    Runeum:
    Runeum has a lightish white coloured ore, its doesnt really stand out much from normal stone.
    At the moment it has no uses, but in the future it will be used to make runes for spells.

    Uranium:
    Uranium is a green glowing ore.
    It spawns in small veins and moderatly often.
    It has no use as of now, but in the future will be used to make uclear reactors and BOMBS. :D

    Fossils:
    Fossils are a light brown stone with fossils inbedded in them.
    They have a random chance of dropping either Dragon Eyes, Dragon Fragments or Bones.
    They all curently have no use, but in the future will have some lovely special features.

    What about this Wurtzite Armor?
    Wurtzite armor is crafted with wurtzite ingots, just like normal armor, but you will need to add padding, since its soo heavy.
    When crafting the helmet, just place some padding in the middle.
    When crafting the body, just place some padding in the top.
    When crafting the legs, just place some padding in the middle.
    When crafting the boots, just place padding above each of the boots.

    Each piece of armor can be upgraded.
    Just place an undamaged piece of armor in the crafting table with some Ascintium above it (Found from Strone).
    Once upgraded, it further increases durability, but also give you the ability to imbue it with the elemental stones.
    To imbue the armor, just place the elemental stone on the bottom of the crafting table, The piece of undamaged armor in the middle, and some ascintium on top.

    Armor Types:
    Helm of Diving - Crafted with Water Stone - Breathe underwater.
    Helm of Time - Crafted with Earth Stone - Speed up sun/moon when worn.
    Helm of Immunity - Crafted with Life Stone - Immune to all potion effects.
    Body of Fire Protection - Crafted with Fire Stone - Immune to fire/lava, ignites all mobs around you.
    Body of Health - Crafted with Life Stone - Heals you every 10 secs.
    Body of Grip - Crafted with Earth Stone - Climb along the ceiling.
    Legs of Swim - Crafted with Water Stone - Swim faster underwater.
    Legs of Doublejump - Crafted with Life Stone - Double jump, hit Spacebar twice.
    Legs of Falling - Crafted with Wind Stone - No fall damage, hold shift in air to glide.
    Boots of Height - Crafted with Wind Stone - Jump higher.
    Boots of Speed - Crafted with Earth Stone - Run faster.
    Boots of Magic - Crafted with Life Stone - Turn lava to obsidian, water to ice, dirt to grass, cobble to stone under you.

    How do i craft this chisel?
    Just place a piece of iron above a stick!
    It can chisel most ores.
    It also comes with an API, so if you would like this chisel to support your ore, but add this to your code.

    Steam Tools?
    Steam tools are very special tools.
    They have a mine/chop speed slightly higher than gold (pretty fast).
    Whats special about these tools is that they can be fueled!
    With a full tank you can mine about 70 blocks before you need to refill.
    To refill you can craft Empty Steam Tanks, by placing one iron ingot in the crafting table.
    To fill up these steam tanks just right click them on water.
    If you have full steam tanks in your hotbar, when your steam tool gets low, it will automaticly consume one and refuel your tool.
    Please note this only works if the tanks are in your hotbar, it will not work in your inventory.
    If you continue to use the tool without refilling it, it will break!
    To create these you will need a brass gear, which can be created with an iron ingot in the middle, and 4 brass ingots around it.
    To craft the tools:
    PICKAXE = 2 sticks like a normal pick, but for the head, place brass ingots either side with a gear in the middle.
    AXE = 2 sticks like a normal axe, but at the top place a gear, and down the side place 2 brass ingots.
    SHOVEL = 1 stick at the bottom, a gear in the middle, and a brass ingot on top.
    HOE = 1 stick at the bottom, a gear in the middle, and 2 brass ingots on top.
    SWORD = 1 stick on bottom, with a gear above it, then on one side, place 2 brass ingots going up.
    Information:
    This mod is only version 0.1 remember, so there will be TONNES more added!
    This post is a WIP, i havent had the time to make some neat crafting recipes, so if you dont understand what i have wrote, i suggest using NEI's crafting recipe mode.
    If anyone would like to create a mod spotlight, i would add it to the main post, this would be greatly appreciated! Would deffinitly help everyone to understand.
    I have 13 Ores planned all up, each with unique properties, dont expect too much recoloured tools.
    Pleace tell me what you think, i have been hard at work on this for a while, and im a little impacient, so i decided to release it! :P

    Hey guys!
    Just showing you a mod I quickly whipped up.

    An official demonstration by me.

    What does it do?
    I would just like to say that this was inspired by the original piston mod by Hippoplatimus.
    What it does is allows entitys to be launched around using normal pistons.
    Some examples of the entities you can shoot with this are; items, mobs, you, primed TNT, sand and gravel.

    Additional Info.
    This does not edit any base class files, but will conflict with any mod that edits the piston block.
    I'm working on a config to change the power of the launching.

    What can I do with this?
    Some examples would be a simple way to move items upward without multiple pistons.
    A TNT cannon or an elevator.
    Sand and gravel waves.
    I'm sure theres many other creative things

    1. Install Forge.
    2. Drag the downloaded .zip file into the /mods folder.

    So many fixes.



    - Finally actually for real fixed the glimmerwood sapling placing.

    - Fixed arcane tall grass dropping itself when broken.

    - Changed the prometheus chamber recipe to return 1 instead of 4. Oops.

    - The island core is no longer breakable.

    - Registered stuff into the OreDictionary.

    - Renamed the Arcane Tree to the Enchanted Fir.

    - Renamed the Arcane Crystals to Elysian Crystals.

    - Doubled the rarity of the islands.

    - Prometheus Chamber now smelts 18 items instead of 17.

    - Fixed Ascendant Gauntlets to work properly like paxels. Updated the damage for each tier.

    - The havenbloom can now be crafted with Arcane Ascension tools and armor to repair them.
