I like this idea, deserts look boring and one of 3 interesting things (the village, the desert temple & the fossils) is under tons of sand and no one ever finds it because of that.
This is an interesting thought, I would have the radius on it somewhat low so it won't run the risk of it being too OP. It would be interesting having a flower pot wall to keep zombies away or drinking an allium suspicious stew to get rid of the effects of Bad Omen.
So... you want to add forcefield blocks because you are angry you're getting griefed on 2b2t? The anarchy server? Most SMP servers have claim plugins where people can't grief. I have no idea where you're coming from.
So it turns out 1.15 is a Nether Update and it looks fantastic!
In Minecon they introduced the honey block, which you can slide down, target blocks, where the closer you shoot to the bullseye the higher the redstone output is, the mountain biome update (snowier snow, new mountain designs, & goats) and of course the nether features.
In the nether section, they announced 2 biomes and 2 mobs. The 2 biomes are the soulsand valley and the netherwart forest. The soulsand valley has stalactites and fossils. The netherwart forest is a very compact forest with new wood, and a hostile food source (which makes the nether habitable), the Piglin Beast. It looks like a pig ravager. It's named after the Piglins, which I think is going to be a replacement for pigmen. They have leathery skin and leave you alone if you have gold armor on. However, if you look through their chests, they become hostile and attack you.
The Piglin Beast and Piglin.
I'm super excited about this update, we haven't seen anything new in the nether for quite a while.
I liked the bees but then I heard the whole update is going to be around Bugs & Bees and then the update became iffy to me. Who knows maybe this'll also be a cave update but if it's just about bugs I won't be super 100% unless the bugs are very interesting and not basic aesthetic animals.
I like this idea! Maybe the bioluminescent biome can be like the underground mushroom biome from Terraria. I like the idea of an abandoned village underground. Maybe the residents are undead miners.
I dislike this idea, dragons should be not a common occurance, the ender dragon is the final boss for pete's sake. Plus you can just use an elytra with fireworks to fly around, no risking an animals life if you crash needed.
Unpopular opinion: I kinda like phantoms. They have cool designs and when you hear their noise in the night you know something's up. But I hate the fact that if you're traveling that you have to get rid of your spawn point. I'd say to add a sleeping bag or straw bed so you can skip the night but not set your spawnpoint.

Perhaps maybe like a spider or insect creature

A kraken boss suggestion is under review

True but the kiln would be easier and less space
