    Yeah, I am playing the new FTB Infitiy lite and the nether is so bland without BOP nether biomes. Hopefully they will get them add back in soon.

    You were correct. After some searching around the mods in the pack I found one had the option to auto plant sapplings instead of letting them decay enabled. I turned that off and after a bit of work with my lumbering axe I was able to clean up the over whelming number of sacred oaks that had sprouted up. The one thing I still can not figure out is where the FIRST one came from. When I moved into the redwood forest I spent about 3 hours clearing the ground cover, small trees and doing some terrain modification to allow me to start building and not once did I see a sacred oak. From my understanding they only naturally occur in the Sacred Grove biome.

    Anyone thanks for the tip, it allowed me to fix the problem and which the auto replant turned off I don't have to worry about those suddenly coming back for some reason.

    I am having a very odd issue. I built a base near a Redwood forest and have been gathering resources and getting ready to settle in when I noticed a huge drop in my FPS. I quick look around revealed that a handful off sacred oaks had popped up in the Redwood forest. So when I went to check out what the deal was I noticed sacred oak saplings all over the place in this biome. I went a while running around removing them and started removing the mature ones when I noticed more had spawned. When I ran around the biome again I found even more saplings were planted.


    The only thing I can think of is the special dirt in the Redwood forest is spawning them or the ID for the sapling is mixed up with something else that can naturally respawn. Either way this is driving me crazy. Is there a setting to just disable sacred oaks from spawning all together?


    Well now I am finding Sacred Oaks growing in my Extreme Hills biome. At this point I am just going to toss this world in trash, delete my config setting and the mod and try again. I have had this problem before but this world is just being over run to randomly spawning Sacred Oaks...

    Odd I am playing the InfiTech 2 mod pack (a FBT Gregtech mod pack) that includes this mod. It stores nodes just fine but when I use the "mark" option I don't get an arrow. I have deleted and reinstalled the mod and config, I have moved the arrow around in the config settings but I still don't get an arrow. When I mark a node, it closes the information window and I am not seeing any type of error related to it. I even went as far as disabled my texture pack but still no dice.

    I am playing the Obscurity mod pack and this is my first time using your mod. I went to use the miner but I noticed an odd behavior. In all the youtube videos I watched it shows the miner using the internal storage and then spits stuff out afterwards (or into a chest). Yet when I set mine up it just spits stuff out, even if a chest on top of the miner. Any idea what I am doing wrong here or if it is a configuration issue?

    Never mind, after I restored my back up I was able to rebuild what I was doing and this time without issue. Not sure if something other than cobble stone had gotten feed into the pipes but this time around I filtered it for only cobble stone and no issue so far.

    Starting to look like this is a discounted mod. Been several months since the author has posted any updates, too bad because this was one of my favorite world types to play upon but 1.6.4 is just too old to be playing upon any more.

    Started playing a 1.7 gregtech mod pack and god I am missing XACT. I forgot just how freaking insane gregtech recipes are how much XACT eased it. Can not wait for the 1.7 port!

    Anyone else having issue with searching in NEI for minecraft 1.7? I recently started playing "Beyond Reality" modpack (GregTech mod on AtLauncher) and the ability to search often just stops completely. It works fine for a bit and then no matter what I type in the search box nothing happens. Sometimes it even gets stuck upon previous search parameters and the only way I seem to be able to fix it is through closing and re-opening minecraft (not the save game but the application itself).

    Never had a probelm with it in 1.6.4 but it is giving me fits in 1.7.

    One thing that got me was the range of the nexi -- only 10 blocks. (I realize this is a bit of a stupid question but...) Given that the crafting altar and nexus are both fairly large multiblocks, are you sure that you've got it within range?


    Yeah, I tested that out by placing a calefactor upon the far side of my altar and was able to power it. I can not even get a mana battery to link up to the altar.

    No luck. I started a new test world, rebuilt a crafting altar plus nexus and it still refuses to power the crafting altar. Yet the second I drop a calefactor it powers it. I destroy the calefactor and relink the nexus to the altar and nothing... I even tried feeding power thru the conduit to it and no luck. Not sure what the issue is but it basically stops me from being able to progress with the mod.

    I just can not figure out what is wrong with my crafting altar/nexus. I am trying to create a spell which requires some neutral essence. So I create the essence nexus and feed it some liquid essence, checking it with the magi staff I can see it has over 2k essence stored. I start adding the components in my crafting alt but when I hit the part requiring the essence I am stuck.

    I have tried pairing the nexus to the crafting altar block with the crystal wrench. I see the light column of light when I right click on the nexus and it disappears when I right click upon the crafting altar block but when I throw the lever nothing happens. No beam of power goes between the nexus and the altar. I know the altar is working because I can drop a calefactor and it powers it just fine. I know the altar is in rage because I can power the calefactor further away from the nexus than my alter sits.

    I can not even get a mana battery to link up to the crafting altar. Also I updated to the newest version and I noticed that half the items that use to be listed in the arcane compendium are now missing. Any help on getting the nexus to link up the crafting altar would be awesome.
