Hi there! Randomite Ore adds a couple of new ores to the game as well as a new item to help in crafting those Ores in already generated worlds. It's based off a mod I used to use years ago that added an ore called Randomite. I couldn't find anything like it for 1.10 and I was kind of curious about Minecraft modding, so I gave it a go. The mod aims to be fully configurable to suit anyone's needs, including changing behavior of drops, amount of drops, and what actually drops.
The newest version of Randomite Ore is 1.3.0, which has been uploaded to the CurseForge page.
The CurseForge uploads have a small changelog, but the GitHub Releases will have the most information
Configuration Details are on the GitHub wiki page.
All the information on this forum page will pertain to the newest updated version.
Unstable Powder was added to aid those who have already generated their worlds to obtain Randomite Ore.
The main block of the mod, Randomite Ore has two behaviors, Stable and Unstable.
In Stable mode the block will drop a configurable amount of one ore.
In Unstable mode, the block will drop a configurable random amount of random configurable ores.
Nether Randomite Ore
Same as Randomite Ore, just a Nether variant!
One of my goals with this mod was to make a block that was completely configurable so that people could configure it to their liking, the configuration file has tool tips and comments on what variable does what, but I'm also writing a page dedicating to going more in-depth on the wiki page of the GitHub.
I keep the GitHub updated as best I can while working on updates, I've never actually used GitHub before so expect a lot of mistakes.

Feel free to suggest things/tell me my code sucks. I'm used to programming in AS3 and C# so Java is a bit weird, but I'm trying my best to keep my code nice. I just wanted to make something that was hopefully useful to people, be it someone using the mod and configuring it to how they want it, or someone looking through my code to help them create their own mod.
