When it was originally in development last year, we discovered that the graphics engine currently in the game simply could not support it. So we discovered we had to actually make a completely new graphics engine. Coding a new, custom engine for a game (especially one that has to support 11 different platforms, including VR/AR/MR) is not a trivial undertaking. Our graphics team is, and has been, hard at work every single day doing this. If you would like a quality product that’s not rushed and full of bugs, I ask you to please respect the time they need & just bear with us.
Sorry for not responding, yeah
its in the composite.vsh
Also just incase you need to know, just open it in like 7zip or winrar and just edit it with notepad and save it and it will save the changed one in the zip, so its pretty quick and easy (when you know what you want ot change).
//Torchlight color
float torchWhiteBalance = 0.09f; <------ pretty much just this for white
colorTorchlight = vec3(1.00f, 0.18f, 0.00f); <------ If you want to change the actual color completely
colorTorchlight = mix(colorTorchlight, vec3(1.0f), vec3(torchWhiteBalance));
thats what I have that i think gives a good mix between white and yellow
anything past about .12 for white balance is pretty much just white
It's taken me a while to find how to do this. Cheers, man.
EDIT: Okay, this doesn't seem to be working for me. I've tried making the value higher/lower & it makes no difference.
Wish there was more active players, as beside myself, there are only 5 players who are there most days (from what I can tell), of which 2 are clearly under 17...
Hopefully Skippy sees this and is able to adjust accordingly, if possible of course
Agreed! I'm all for more players, provided they're mature, or can act as such.
Thomas, Uniblue, mentioned on the pack's Facebook page in the beginning of February that he would be to busy for about six weeks to work on the pack due to real life stuff. He should hopefully be back in a couple of weeks or so.
In my experience, Lag.
Make sure you have threading enabled and the thread priority set to.. medium I guess should be fine.
You can try tinkering around with the settings a bit to try fix it.
I run alot of mods at once along with the forge version I released and have 0 issues. Perhaps give that a try if you haven't already?
Hmmm. Threading is enabled, although I'm not sure what it's set too. I'll give the Forge version a go, as I have yet to try that. Thanks.
Edit: Not sure why, but the forge version seems to drop my frames down to 15fps, when they're usually at 50-60fps. Ahh well, back to the non-forge version, for now.

Nice mod, AtomicStryker! I would love to see this mod made available for 1.11!

Is it possible to change the torch lighting to be a little less orange?

Anyone know which line to edit to make light sources a little less orange?

Thank you for keeping this resource pack updated. Smooth Realism is, by far, my favorite resource pack. Again, thank you for your work.

That is very good news. Thanks.
