    getting his respect is hard. you really did a great job with this mod. i cant wait for the new pressure mechanics. the current ones seem to have a very small memory leak in them.

    i have seen this. i have yet to get any vis that can be measured by the thaumometer though. the vis you see likely is just some quark.

With thaum, he understands that it is universal, so he has no problem with making it into power with a bit of know-how. But he has gotta go a lot deeper into research before he can do the reverse conversion.

    i see... perhaps as some high tier item in a massive eldrich branch yet to come? come to think of it, i do like the idea about long distance vis transmission though. perhaps some way to convert it into a slightly different form for a slightly different pipe?

    on a side note; through experimentation i learned that a quarry dumping all junk items into a crucible with an arcane furnace powering it seems to be able to run its self. therefore, 1 quarry of junk=1 thaumic generator.

    i do just feel like throwing out ideas. you never know what idea will stick...

    RP2, and IC2 have ways to gather EU/Blutricity from Sunlight. That's free Vis, regardless of the loss.

    Too overpowered if implemented in any way, shape, or form.

    but cant we make vis out of sunlight? even if it is in the form of plants.

    Suggestion:
    thaumic generator (concentrated evil);
    this thaumic generator would be capable of producing vis from the various power types instead of creating power from vis. there would be some loss in the conversion process (~50%). this would also allow people with massive amounts of vis to transmit the vis over extremely long distances.

    side note: about the thaumic bees, i have been meaning to look into making them, but i got swamped with school work. (3 hours to make a fully detailed 120 page powerpoint, ect, ect...) (it was my idea though)

    just found a glitch with the config. if you add something to the smelting list and misspell it, everything added in the config then fails to smelt. for me, i was adding tungsten ore and i spelled it tungston by mistake.

    EDIT: it seems only to happen sometimes...

    i seem to be getting frequent out of memory screens. all the fixes i have found tend to only delay them. right now i can delay them to one about every 30 minutes. they do seem to get more frequent the more vis conduits, tanks, ect. i add. i hope that this is fixed with the new vis pressure system.

    is anyone else having difficulties with items added to the crucible list in the config just being rejected automatically? i cant seem to get nickolite to go in at all, even though it is first on the list in the config. (sorry if this seems confusing, thinking 5 different things at once can do this...)

    EDIT: nevermind, it seems that it is just working on and off.....

    as long as you still have the scroll, you *should* be able to open it again.

    @azanor:
    try making the taint biomes so that they are just barely contained when they spawn. if they get any more taint added to them, they will then start to spread. this way, you must cause it to spread, even if only with the slightest mistake.
    also, did you see my suggestions?

    Suggestion:
    Eldrich Interface (name needs work);
    a high cost block you place on a void chest. it would not spawn naturally. it would provide the ability to link up to five other chests. these chests would share an inventory, with each new one adding 10 slots. the first one would have only 10 slots also. these chests could link across the dimensions.

    Eldrich Singularity;
    an upgrade on an stabilized arcane singularity. this one would taint any mobs that enter its event horizon.

    Eldrich Eyes;
    an upgrade on the goggles of revealing. using an eldrich artifact (you can pick), you can upgrade the goggles into a new, eldrich form. these goggles would allow you to detect when you are near an object like crystals, greatwood trees, or silverwood trees. there would be a slight glow in the direction of the objects. each different object would have a distinct glow.

    It is far better than bookshelves.

    people earlier said that it boosts the speed massively for the q-block.
