I'm sad to announce that I will be retiring as a Minecraft texture pack maker (for now) and will not be producing anymore updates for Isabella.
I owe a huge dept of gratitude to everyone who downloaded my pack, especially those who took the time get in touch with me via this post or PM. Isabella has been my most successful creative endeavor, and even though I never made a dime doing it, the hours spent were well worth it.
I'm leaving Isabella in the hands of the community. I'd love to see someone (or some people) take her to 1.6 and beyond. Anyone wishing to continue my work has my permission to do so.
Treat her well.

The only thing that bugged me was that the dropper top facing texture was sideways, trap doors have their grating turn sideways when changing positions, and, at least initially, I thought the nether quartz ore stood out too much. The first two are probably Minecraft issues, the last one turned out to work well when next to netherrack. On third glance, it looks like the connected textures (even with the mod on) are not working.
Thanks for the feedback!
So I looked into the droppers and it is working as intended. But I'm not sure what you mean by the texture was sideways.
The grates on trapdoors changing orientation is a game limitation. The only real way to fix that is to change the texture to be symmetrical on four sides.
You may be right about the quartz ore.
As for the CTM. So I used the patcher's conversion tool and for some reason it isn't working on all the blocks. The wool, for example, totally works but the glass does not. I will look into it some more. But GUH! I hate this new texture format. D:

Except for the potato textures, because they seem to be swapped.
I used Mojang's unstitcher utility. Blame them! (Fixed in v2, thanks for the heads up!)
Mar 14, 2013New update is out!Posted in: Resource Packs
I didn't get much of a chance to test it out. And with the new format, it is super easy to miss something. So if you notice anything that looks off, please post. Thanks!
Mar 13, 2013That will be fixed with 1.5. Thanks for the heads up!Posted in: Resource Packs
Mar 13, 2013I'm working on it as we speak.Posted in: Resource Packs
I will have a functional (if not complete) version up by tomorrow or Friday.
Mar 5, 2013Has anybody used the Curse download site for texture packs? Any opinions as a pack maker or pack user?Posted in: Resource Packs

Out of curiosity, is this Texture pack based on a loved one you lost called Isabella?
Nope. As far as I'm aware, I've never even met an Isabella. The name meant to invoke the feeling of romance mixed with melancholy, a feeling that I and many others have experienced at some point in our lives. So I suppose you could make the argument that I did name it after a lost loved, just not one called Isabella.
Jan 22, 2013Hey folks!Posted in: Resource Packs
Just wanted to pop in and give a few shout outs.
First, badjman sent me a link to his version of Isabella Classic updated to 1.4.6. Link is here.
My Minecraft time has been woefully lacking these past few weeks but when I do get a chance to play, I've been playing Feed the Beast. I'm using Direwolf's mod pack and Isabella: FTB Edition. This is an amazing collaborative effort! I'm blown away.
Lastly, I popped into Starbucks on my way to work the other week and I ran into a very old friend of mine. It turns out that he's gotten into the Minecraft server business, so of course I mention Isabella. Anyways, he wrote up a little article about me and the pack on his blog that I thought I'd share. It was a bit surreal (and cool) to find myself randomly chatting about redstone logic gates over coffee, something that I rarely get to do in my real life.
Jan 9, 2013Does anyone know if they plan to fix the swamp grass issue?Posted in: Resource Packs
Jan 2, 2013Loving the skins, everyone!Posted in: Resource Packs
I have uploaded an update to the pack, bringing it to 1.4.6 and also fixed the trading GUI issue.
I'm super busy with life right now. I will try to be more prompt with the updates to the pack but I ask for your understanding and patience if I fall behind again.
Dec 25, 2012Sorry for being MIA. I had no idea that they released a new version that required updates to the texture pack. I will try to find some time soon to get a new version out.Posted in: Resource Packs
Nov 20, 2012You know, I'm not sure. Have you tried removing the watercolorx.png altogether?Posted in: Resource Packs
Nov 20, 2012This is great! Thanks for doing this!Posted in: Resource Packs
Nov 8, 2012Purple leaf particles don't seem to be an issue with MCPatcher. This is why I say that OptiFine is 90% compatible. However, this isn't really OptiFine's fault. It's a stupid vanilla problem that MCPatcher fixes completely and OptiFine almost fixes completely.Posted in: Resource Packs
