My sibling and I have our own minecraft accounts(her account is new) and our own computers. We decided we wanted to play on my friend's server so I gave her the information to join the server and we play for about a good 3 minutes before she tells me that she's lagging and freezing up. She leaves and rejoins the server and that solves it for a moment but then she lags(again) and times out(still to this moment times out). I told her to update her java and it works slightly better but she continues to time out. We've tried other servers and she still times out. I don't know if this contributes to her problem but she's told me that she has 3 bars of connection. What can be the problem for this? Is it because we're on the same network? How can we fix the slight lag and time outs?
